    Welcome for me!!!
    Victor Adolfo P.

The welcome was very heartwarming with my name written in a board, the process is very streamlined with iPad to fill the medical information, in the booth you get a nice warm treatment for your hands, they explain everything about the procedure and the results, gave me headphones with my favorite music to listen to while the cleaning is done and all the ladies are very friendly and give you very precise instructions!!! 100% recommended if you want to get a nice and pleasant dental cleaning!!! 5 out of 5!!!

Does she really know what she is doing?

DO NOT COME HERE!! THE WORST "DENTIST" IN FLORIDA Karent Sierra was extremely unprofessional. 1. Patient Neglect Both she and her assistant left to treat another patient during the middle of the procedure. I was laying on the procedure chair completely by myself with a suction tube in my mouth for more than 30 minutes. When she finally came back, I pointed it out. She got very irritated and defensive. At first, she lied about the fact she left to treat another patient, then she admitted it because someone else helped me proved it. All I wanted to do after that is to leave because I am seriously questioning her ability and her professionalism. The whole procedure feels so rush and unorganized (the treatment took 30 minutes but I was waiting for 2 hours). I was and still am deeply regret the fact I chose to go there. And after she angrily finished my surgery in a rush, she left without asking if everything is all set. Which again prove the unprofessionalism. 2. Unprofessional environment The clinic looks more like a beauty salon. Apparently she also does facial, implants, facial rejuvenation and other plastic surgery. I mean if she works like this as a "dentist", I would absolutely NOT recommend anyone to go get anything done there. Guess she can not make money out of being a "dentist". 3. Overpriced Service She charged me 150 dollars to re-cement (glue my crown back in place). And she kept on telling me how I should be appreciate about the special discount because it is usually 250 dollars. I checked with my previous dentist(back in NY). It is around 50-70 dollars for recement a crown. I went to the dentist, tried to fix an issue. But now I left with more problems. NEVER GO BACK AGAIN!

I'm bringing this to work. Thank you Linda, Rossi and Dr. Karent

I absolutely loved this place. The office, the people, everything! Rosy was incredibly nice over the phone as she is in person. She set my appointment really quickly. I met Linda for a cleaning and the experience was super fun! She even gave me a paraffin wax treatment for my hands and a cleaning kit!!!! Most important she taught me a lot. She is amazing explaining everything and making you laugh. Dr Karent is so so nice and caring too. She really takes her time to probe and ask questions to make sure you are doing great. She also has the Sharing Smiles Foundation. The work they do it's beautiful. You can see the family environment they all share and as a patient they make you feel part of that. They teach you a lot. Trust me, you are not going to regret it and your visits will be really fun. I didn't have to wait. Everything was right on time. I'm looking forward to my next appointment already!

Truly the best dentist I've ever been to. Karent Sierra and her ENTIRE staff are not only true experts at their craft, but each and every one of them go out of their way to make their patients feel welcome, safe, and well accounted for. Never would I have thought to actually look FORWARD to going to the dentist... until I came here!! Not to mention their state of their art equipment and chemical-free approach, Karent Sierra Dentistry should be your number one option if you live in the Miami/Coral Gables area. They're simply the best!

It all starts with Idania who fronts the office and oversees (among many things I imagine) patient outreach/bookings and insurance/payments. She is not only professional, she is also warm, patient, and just a sweetheart all around! Dr. Deam is very thorough in his consultations, and he's always focused on the patient's best interest and on addressing their concerns/questions. One never feels rushed - he has a very calming effect. It's also clear that he's of top caliber and is highly knowledgable about dentistry and medicine at large (he and his team check for things like tongue cancer, blood pressure, etc). He's forward-thinking and has the latest technology in the office (e.g. a vibrating pain-free device to deliver anesthetic pre-filling; check out his site for other cool advances that I luckily have yet to have to use.) A quick nod to Yuliet who assists Dr. Deam in procedures - she's also super friendly and great at her job! Finally, Lily, who's their hygienist, is awesome (to follow the general theme of Dr. Deam and his staff!) She remembers patients, their concerns (for me it's tooth sensitivity, so we use topical anesthetic), and progress from the last visit. She, like the rest of the staff, seem to care first and foremost about the patient.

Dr. del Castillo reviewed the options, provided a temporary fix and then a permanent fix. He explained each step, made a new crown that fit perfectly, and called that night to make sure everything was fine. It was. Going to the dentist is never fun, and going to a new dentist can be scary, but but Dr. del Castillo has a very calming and capable presence. Know that you are in excellent hands with the best technological equipment available--plus everyone in the office is really nice.

I cannot say enough incredible things about Dr. Cabrera at Lamas Dental Specialists…read more Right after New Year's, I came into the office in the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. I had a severe infection, and initially it seemed like my situation might not be treatable immediately. I was sent home with antibiotics, but the pain became unbearable and I knew I couldn't wait. When Dr. Cabrera saw me, she gently asked, "On a scale from 1 to 10, how bad is your pain?" I told her 15 -- and she could clearly see the despair on my face. She immediately stepped in with compassion, confidence, and expertise. She administered several injections to numb the area and help control the pain while the antibiotics began reducing the infection. I explained that I had an important work trip coming up in just a few days and absolutely had to attend. Without hesitation, she did everything possible to treat me quickly and properly. The level of professional care she provided was beyond anything I could have hoped for. By the time she completed the procedure, I felt so relieved that I told her I was ready to go straight into my root canal. My treatment started at noon and wasn't finished until 6 PM -- a long, intense day -- but I was cared for every step of the way. The follow-up appointments were just as thorough and professional. She made sure I was healing properly and that my pain was completely under control. Dr. Cabrera didn't just treat my tooth -- she treated me with empathy, urgency, and true dedication. I genuinely feel grateful for the care she gave me during one of the most painful moments of my life. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation. With Sincere Gratitude Carmelita Concepcion

As of today (July 11, 2026) -- over two months later -- I still have not received my refund, despite multiple follow-ups. I'm sharing this so other patients are aware: if you pay any amount in advance, be cautious, as getting a refund for cancelled or unperformed services has not been straightforward in my experience.

How were they at administering the novacaine? Would they inject too much and leave my mouth numb for hours? Would they do a good job? These thoughts plagued me all day. Thoughts of cancelling entered my mind more than once. But I decided to brave the unknown. Jose, a dental hygienist, asked me to come in and apologized for the wait which was only about 15 min. He was really nice, explained everything that was going to happen and then he said something that made my day! "We are not going to use a needle to numb you, we are going to use a gel to numb your gums" WHAT???? Was I hearing correctly??? A short time later I realized I had heard correctly as he administered the numbing agent. Jose was great. He even gave me his blue balls to squeeze.....his blue stress balls that is. He did an amazing job with the cleaning. As I sat there during my cleaning I can hear how the staff interacted with the other patients and again everyone is so nice. I know it's weird to say but I am looking forward to coming back next week to have the other side of my mouth done. I said it in my last review and I will say it again....I am so happy I found this place!

I called ahead specifically to say I would be late because of traffic. The call center confirmed it was okay. That should have been the end of it. Instead, I received a follow-up call from the office that immediately felt tense and uncoordinated. I was asked "exactly how late will you be?" in a tone that felt more like I was being reprimanded than simply checked in on. After explaining again, I was told about a 15-minute grace period, followed by a very pointed warning that if I wasn't there by 4:18, I would not be seen. There was no effort to reconcile the conflicting information between the call center and the office. No flexibility. No attempt at understanding. Just a rigid rule delivered in a way that made a routine delay feel like a problem I was being scolded for. What makes this stand out is how avoidable it all was. A bit of consistency and basic professionalism in tone would have completely changed the experience. Instead, it felt unnecessarily hostile for something as ordinary as traffic.
