Photo of Eileen Kelly Eileen Kelly 2 months ago I am very grateful to God for having blessed my life with Dr. Ospina and all of her staff. I have been overjoyed with this practice since became a patient back in October of last year. However, recently she took on a new Hygienist to replace the one that left who was super amazing but he left to go to dental school in Jersey. My new Hygienist is Patty and she is a miracle worker! She had big shoes to fill as her predecessor was awesome but she has filled those big shoes with flying colors and then some! Going to the dentist is finally a pleasant experience, Patty is very aware and conscience about how the patient is feeling or what they are experiencing during the cleaning process or any other treatment with her in the office. She has such a beautiful way of sympathizing and empathizing with eachpatient as I know it's not a unique with just me. The reporte she has built with me comes so naturally to her that I am sure she builds very similar relationships with other patients. Furthermore, I can tell that Patty knows her craft extremely well, she has plenty of experience working with different demographics and types of people, she is tidy, neat, as well as clean with her equipment and work area. Most importantly she loves what she does and that shines as well as reflects in her work. I love and thank God daily for my marvelous Hygienist Patty! Thank you so much Patty! You're one of a kind and simply the best! The only way to truly improve the experience at this practice is if Patty were to be working all 5 days of the week because at the moment she works Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays and I absolutely refuse to have my mouth worked on and cleaned by anyone besides her. Sometimes Thursdays and Fridays work better for me but I have to stick to the days she is there, I don't trust my mouth to anyone else as amazing as the ladies are in this practice. Please consider strongly making Patty full time Monday through Friday, it would mean so much to me and Im sure to all of the other patients as well. read more

Dr. Riboul, Patty, and the entire team at Gables Perfect Smile are great. Highly recommend!

Gables Perfect Smiles: Patty, their hygienist is a god send. If she ever retires I'm gonna stop going to the dentist altogether. No one looks forward to going to the dentist but Patty makes it a much better experience. I've always had some pain with cleanings due to sensitive teeth but Patty is very gentle with the cleanings and informs me of what I need to do outside of 'more floss.' take all my stars in this rating. read more

Great staff and service. My first time there and they did a detail check and Patty gave me a state of the art clean up with products I have not seen before. I know I am in good hands. read more

I found Dr Ospina, at Gables Perfect Smile, after many years of struggling with bruxism and endless failed attempts at correcting it. I was desperate!! Dr Ospina made a full and detailed assessment of my medical history, dental history and, most importantly, listened to all my concerns. She made sure I would get a permanent solution and some much needed relief. I've been going to her for over 6 years now and I won't go to any other dentist! She's definitely a master at her trade and the best dentist in Miami. Her staff is knowledgeable and dedicated as well. Great office! read more

Professional and exceptional results. I highly recommend Dr. Ospina!

You know when I was in Toronto & Jamaica as a kid I remember Abrahamic believers trying to indoctrinate me into the belief of heaven, hell and repentance. Repentance? for what? I never understood the " you are born into sin" thingy...anyway. They told me heaven was full of snow white Asexual angels with blonde hair & blue eyes playing harps 24/7. While hell had dark skinned fanged horny toad bat winged blood thirsty demons clamoring for your soul to torment for eternity. I was like OK both of those images kinda sound very racially propagandist to me.... but anyway. One dreadful day fate finally caught up with me and the day of reckoning arrived. My childhood days of gluttonous debauchery of devouring hostess Twinkies, Cup Cakes, Ho Hos and Ding Dongs came to an abrupt end. Pain had caught a hold of my spirit and it felt as though the devil himself was digging into my jaw with his pitchfork. My parents ended up taking me to my first dentist appointment to an office on Ellesmere and Morningside in Scarborough. Little did I know my life was about to change for ever. The portals of hell must have been opened that day because that fat curly headed guy who was the dentist either was a chthonic demon from hell or the living Devil himself. I knew the moment I saw him with that petrifying 12 inch syringe spraying out dragons fire in front of me, that what the Abrahamics said about hell was total BS. Hell was not populated by dark skinned fanged horny toad blood thirsty winged demons clamoring for your soul to torment for eternity. Hell was really populated with creepy dentists fancying "demonic doll" smiles (like that doll in the movie Poltergeist) and they all have dreadful 12 inch long syringes in one hand and terrifying loud swirling drills in the other. I had believed this with all my heart and have been horrified by dentists all my life until I met Dr Ospina. Thank the Earth Spirit for Dr Ospina and all the workers at Gables Perfect Smile, because she single handily dispelled that myth for me. Ever since that initial encounter as a child with that 12 inch syringe held by the Devil himself, I have had a needle/syringe phobia. So recently I had a tooth that needed cavity removal and a cap for a previous filling with another cavity on the same tooth. I called a few places and visited only one Gables Perfect Smile. After consulting with Dr Ospina I immediately knew I was going to do the procedure here even if I found a cheaper price somewhere else. My spirit immediately gravitated to Dr Ospina, she is like a motherly earth spirit and her assistants are like gentle fairies. I informed Dr Ospina of my phobia and she assured me of how gentle she is and her technique with the syringe is literally painless. Dr Ospina had patiently explained the whole procedure from the use of the Waterlase laser to the 3D imaging used to craft a perfect porcelain Cap. Low and behold when I finally came in for the procedure, she guided me with her soft caring voice like I was having major surgery. I felt like I was in the arms of my mother as a child. I was totally comfortable and I didn't become hypertensive nor hyperventilate. I didn't feel the needle even the slightest bit, it was like nothing happened. When I came back a few weeks later to have the cap put on the tooth, Dr Ospina put it in perfect and it looks flawless & feels great. Gables Smile Center is my new Dental Office and I have no fear in walking into this place because of Dr Ospina!!!! NOTES +everyone who works here is female and they are very attractive. +they do periodontal therapy, dental implant surgery, or full mouth reconstruction, general dentistry, restorative dentistry and cosmetic dentistry +they offer sedation dentistry and nitrous oxide +they do waterlase laser dentistry for soft and hard tissue surgery. +they use CT scans to create 3D computer images of your tooth. TIPS * This is a one stop shop for all of your dental needs. * The office is located in the heart of affluent Coral gables. read more

I was impressed with the service at first... after years of going there (multiple times in one day for botched treatment twice!), I would not recommend this place. All services are extremely over priced and inadequate. The in house referrals and pressure to use her providers is obnoxious. The in house dental surgeon is arrogant and barely does his job until his dental tech takes over. Botox does not last and is way beyond the price it should be. After seven years going here (many times to fix problems that never should have occurred) I would never recommend this office to anyone. read more

also please see below the email I received from Dr. Ospina, my payment should not be reimbursed because no permanent damage was made.usually the botox effects wears off after 6 months. read more

Dr. Ospina was amazing at creating a life changing look for me by performing a lip lowering procedure for my high smile line/gummy smile! Anyone I have come across now having the same issues as I had I tell them to go see her ASAP! Thank you Dr. Ospina for transforming my smile and building my confidence! read more

This is a fake dental office. Here is how their business operates. They try to convince you that you need very expensive services, things insurance does not cover. I went in for a simple cleaning and they refused to do it. Instead, I met with some kind of non-medical consultant that tried to sell me on stuff. Very shady. I immediately reported them to my dental insurance company. Good thing too, as they attempted to bill me despite actually doing no medical work at all that day. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. read more

I recently moved to Miami and decided to see Dr. Ospina after she came highly recommended for veneers. I was thoroughly impressed by Dr. Ospinas professional charisma as well as her clinical skills. She has a strong sense of both aesthetics and occlusion and she was also able to explain her plan with me on a very basic level. She is very thorough and a perfectionist and it shows in her work. Highly highly recommend her! read more

Awful. I took an appt in this office because they supposedly had very good cosmetic reviews. I went to get two small bonds on my front teeth. They were charging me a lot more than the normal price, but at least if she had done it right I would have been happy. Before starting I asked her if she could make them perfect and she said yes, and to go straight to the service I wanted, because I was not going to do anything else. From the beginning, this doctor sounded like she was money hungry trying to convince me to do surgeries and things I didn't need. When she finally started, what she did was fill my two teeth from the behind part and made them a completely different shape. When I tried to show her the photo of my teeth, she said "no" those aren't my teeth anymore. It was very unprofessional because I want the closest to my teeth. She started to get angry because I told her that it was extremely uncomfortable that I force her to removed all what she did. Then she wanted to leave me like that because the other patient had arrived and she was in a hurry and since I was not standing from the chair, she said sorry but you had to go back another day to fix it. The appoiment ended that I took the instruments to explain what I wanted because she only told me that she did not understand the bad job she did my teeth were a lot longer and she asked me to file down my bottom teeth to finished her terrible job and I said no. That day I was so frustrated, I felt so bad about how they treated me and how awful the work that she did to me, that I paid and left, I cried all the way to my house that bd they made me feel. The next day I looked for more information about what she did to me because I felt so bad. And I called them back for a complete refund, so I can go to another doctor and get it done right. The girl at the front desk was disrespectful, she kept yelling and screaming at me on the phone nonstop, she threatened me with returning 300 dollars out of 1155 that I paid and I had to sign notarized papers that I was not going to make a claim or a bad review against them and I said no, and she repeated the offer with 450 and signed the papers as the final offer and If I'm not accepting her offer I was going to lose the claim anyway. Also she force me to go again because she had me recorded on video and she deleted the part of the video when the doctor lost her patience and looked mad at me when I took her instruments to explain what I wanted. Then I told her that I could go and ask the doctor personally and she said, it was not necessary because she had to have seen it. All I want is from them is to refund all my money, so I can go and fix what she did terrible. I never want to have to go to this horrible place again people are very irrespecutful and unprofessional and they make you pay for things you don't need. I told them that he didn't need an exam, or x rays and still took me x rays for no reason and she tried to convince me to do 3D x rays to charge me more. I feel bad and I cannot go again with this doctor or this office that threatened people as if they were a mafia. read more

I am adding an update to my review of 12/28/18. I did have the veneers made and, although it's a process, it turned out great! Dr. Ospina did get the job done before my daughter's wedding and the pictures came out beautiful! I am so happy with the work she did. She is a perfectionist and really took her time with the design and fit. Now, my smile is beautiful and I feel completely confident in it. I also want to say that Gabriel, who assists Dr. Ospina, seems to be highly trained and they work very well together. I'm really glad I did this with Dr. Ospina and fully recommend her to anyone thinking of doing veneers. I love my smile now and wish I had met her and done this years ago! read more

Dr. Ospina is truly a gem. She is a careful, incredibly knowledgable, informative, put you at ease professional. The Absolute Value Added, she has a beautiful serene caring manner. Not just "caring" because its her career, a true gentle soul with a calming wonderful presence. That can't be learned~it just is. I first went to Dr. O after some pretty seriously botched dentistry elsewhere. (I was afraid, anxious, and really fearful following the past Nightmare.) I knew immediately, I was in a good place. She is the Pinnacle of Professionalism & Skill, but her demeanor & commitment to her patients, is the intangible quality that will keep you a forever patient. Cannot recommend Dr. Ospina more Highly. I have had dental problems all my life and finally, I found someone who knows what they are doing! Gloria is improving my smile every time I see her! She is on top of her game. I am so impressed, I decided to bring my mother and daughter to her. I feel very blessed to have found her. My previous dentists could not bond properly and they always fell off. My dental implants had to be redone! $$$$ Gloria's bonding seems permanent, it has been years and no problems. She is straightening my teeth with Invisalign and trying to lighten my teeth, not by bleaching but a new technique since I have crowns and dental implants.
