I initially assumed it was just part of the healing process, but at my post-op appointment, I found out that the doctor fractured my cusp during the extraction. Instead of taking responsibility, the dentist tried to play it off, asking if I had been chewing on something hard--when in reality, I was barely able to eat soft foods due to the pain. This kind of dishonesty and lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially when it comes to dental care. I trusted this office with my procedure, but now I have to deal with additional damage that wasn't disclosed to me. Very disappointing experience. The X-Ray is proof that it was not like that prior to the procedure.

I knew a lot of people who had theirs taken out with him and all had good things to say, he's known for comparatively low swelling and minimal discomfort. For me, the surgery went smoothly and the office is very clean and sophisticated. They sent me home with clear instructions and ice packs. After, I had irritation/discomfort when chewing for longer than was expected (about 10 days) so I gave them a call and went back in. It turns out I had an unusual reaction and had some extra sensitively, without hesitation they made time to bring me back in and treat me - sure enough I was back to normal a day or two after that.

He examined me and explained everything that would need to be done to fix my tooth. Unfortunately I had a very basic dental plan that would not really cover the work. Dr. Jacinto worked with me and gave me a more than fair price. I ended up having to get a root canal, a post and then a crown done. Dr. Jacinto is amazing. It was about as painless a visit to the dentist as you can have. The results were also nothing short of spectacular. The crown feels completely normal and matches perfectly with the rest of the teeth. He is a true master of his craft!

So I was referred here by my general dentist for an implant consultation. He had also referred my…read moreaunt and 2 of my cousin who had gotten their work done here. They are located on the 2nd floor of an office building and for its size the office is decorated real nice with modern furniture and accents. Dr. Del Amo professional, attentive and makes you feel very comfortable when he's around. He explains to your treatment and also answers any questions that you may have (I had a thousand) The receptionist by the name of Ochie was very nice and she looks very professional, explain my financial options informed me that my insurance does not cover most of the treatment that I needed. As a single mother I have to weigh out my options cost and quality are usually the the main factor when I'm making the decision. Cost my treatment to replace one tooth was well over $4,000 which I could not afford. I was a little skeptical since I'm supposed to have a very good insurance so before I left the office I actually yelped search to see if they were any other implant doctors in the area. I was able to get an appointment for right after I left Del Amo's. I had the consultation ( different office) the total for my treatment was also $4,000 but insurance will cover about half of it! Making my out of pocket only $2375! I called Del Amo's office. explain the information given in at the new office (who I will be given a five-star review next) and was told that they must be wrong because they had checked and for sure I had no coverage. Lesson learned: no matter how modern or trending an office may look, how wonderful the staff or how professional and knowledgeable the doctor maybe it is always good to get a second opinion.
