She even told me to raise my hand if I felt anything because I had my headphones on. I will certainly recommend this office to both my friend and their kiddos. If they are this great with an adult, I bet they are equally as kind and gentle to kiddos. Also, super easy to park in the building, no charge for that and they honor the time of your appointment.

The dental hygienist and Anna, the manager that helped me when things escalated in the end, are the only positives: they are both truly outstanding, empathetic, and excellent at their jobs. The practice is clearly focused on money, not patient care. This morning's call exposed this perfectly: when I called to clarify a supposed "cavity," I learned they were actually pushing for a crown without any real medical justification or explanation. When I tried to understand the proposed treatment, receptionist Dania was incredibly dismissive and unhelpful. I was baffled by her lack of care. Between the constant, unjustified upselling and the poor administrative service, it's clear the patient is not the priority here. Also, the high staff turnover is a big issue: I've rarely seen the same dentist twice, which compromises continuity of care. Finally, getting my patient records transferred was deliberately difficult. It took four emails, three phone calls and I ultimately had to reference my HIPAA rights before they would release my records. This administrative obstruction clearly shows their resistance to letting patients seek care elsewhere. I'm moving my business to a more empathetic dental office in Coral Gables. Do better.

I paid $2.5-3k for "unlimited trays" to correct this one tooth. After using countless trays over years, the tooth barely moved. The communication at this office is incredibly poor. Most of the orthodontic assistants didn't speak English, and my Spanish isn't strong enough to bridge the gap. Every appointment, they'd check my teeth, hand me a new set of trays, and send me on my way. No updates, no explanations. Just silence. After completing all my trays, they asked "Are you happy with the results?" No.. the tooth that brought me here in the first place was still crooked. About three YEARS into treatment, they decided to put a bracket on the tooth, which also did nothing. After seeing that the original issue still wasn't resolved, they agreed to take new impressions to create a new batch of trays. Then... nothing. Months passed. I called, only to be told that if I wanted to continue, I'd have to pay again. So to recap... I paid $3,000 to fix one tooth. It's still crooked. And now they want me to pay more? Absolutely not. I would not recommend this office to anyone. The lack of care, follow-through, and basic communication is unacceptable.

In just one session she fixed my crown, which I had installed elsewhere but was unable to travel there. I talked to over 10-15 other clinics and the doctors either said it couldn't be fixed (even though it was a small chip) or they only wanted to replace it and wanted $1500 or so. At the right price, Dr. Rita Dargham fixed everything for me. Then she gave me some professional advice and recommended what else I might need to do. I didn't feel there was an attempt to force services, and I really liked that. I will definitely return to her in the future and recommend her. She is a professional, very open and pleasant person. I haven't had such pleasure working with any doctor in a long time as I did with her.

I was seen on time, was there to see a hygienist for a cleaning, but first Dr. Powell gave me the most comprehensive check up I've ever had in my life. He very diligently examined my tongue, gums, and even lymph nodes for any evidence of cancer. (I should note a good friend recently died from tongue cancer.) Dr. Powell accurately pointed out problems with two old implants which have been giving me problems. (He does not do implant surgery.) X-rays showed no cavities. He did not rush and kindly answered all my questions. After that, the hygienist took over and did a fantastic job. Front desk was very kind and professional. I feel like I hit the jackpot!
