Most business cover the 3% as part of "doing business" but apparently not this dentist. This place was awesome, but now just doesn't feel the same as it did before.

I get it the prices compared to other dentist are much lower but you truly get what you pay for. Not only that, it's never what they say it will cost. Once I got to their office I was told that it's no longer $6500. It was going to be more like $16,000 because I needed extra work. Once I was convinced to move forward, at my second visit I was told I was no longer going to need all the work I first was told about. But since I was already charged for the work, I would have to wait about a week to request a refund by email. Even then it still turned out that they full price was closer to $14,000. On my last day before I had to fly back home the veneers did not all fit. I was there all day waiting for them to try and re-do the 3 veneers that did not fit. By the end of that day i was given the bad news. That 1 of 3 veneers would not be done on time before having to fly back home. It was Friday and they didn't work weekends. To them it was simple, stay few more days but for me it wasn't that easy. I was already there a week with double the expenses. I couldn't stay any longer. So I had to fly back with a front tooth/ veneer missing. Once I got back home that's when I felt all the discomfort and pain from all the work they did. The swelling had gone down and now I could see how bad their work was and all the gaps they left me. Not only that. They struggle to get a refund was a nightmare and with no one to respond. So my only advice is to anyone considering this place is DONT. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

About 8 years ago I went to a recommended dentist in NY on Park Ave. Fancy place, had a filling that lead to root canal few months later and completely traumatized me. So after that traumatic experience I decided not to get a crown on that tooth. Mind it's the last back tooth that I chew with on the right side. So forward 8 years. Surprised it lasted this long as I chew gum sometimes.... I felt like something cracked but couldn't put my finger on it. Looked in the mirror and saw that back part of that tooth broke off. OMG, no insurance and as more days passed I started to feel pain there. At that point I didn't even know if tooth can be saved but the fear of putting the crown there took over because I have super sensitive gums. I remembered reading a few years ago that there are new type of crowns where they can be made the same day. So I started doing research on Google and found out that the name of it is CERIC crown. So here I am doing research on the price and every where I call it's super expensive. I came across this dental office website offering the crown for $1k and I couldn't believe it. Made an appoint, which they where super flexible. Took X-ray of the tooth before and after. The Dr. heard me loud and clear about my sensitive gums. Let me tell you. Once he was done, it was like my own original tooth was there. It didn't feel off, other then a bit of sensitivity on my gums for one day. I didn't even need time to adjust to it. If you need a crown and an honest dentist, this is your guy. The place is clean and operates very efficiently. And they didn't charge me extra for the X-rays on the tooth as most dentists would. He is honest and very gifted with his work. Thank you so much and I'll be back soon to fix a cavity the the Dr. mentioned. :) He is my new dentist that's for sure.

I meant to write this review months ago, but better late than never: I visited Dental Cosmetic Spa for two cleanings while living in Miami. They were understanding of my financial situation as a full-time student and, to my delighted surprise, allowed me to use the Groupon for both visits. (I didn't even suggest this!) This left a strong impression on me - clearly this is a practice that cares about establishing trusting, longer-term relationships with its patients. They did suggest some additional work for my teeth, which I haven't yet completed - but the rates seemed reasonable enough, and these services were never pushed. The front desk, hygienists, and dentists I've seen have all been friendly and down-to-earth. It actually seems like they enjoy working there, which is understandable given the warm, decidedly non-stark environment they've created. I'm visiting Miami next month and look forward to making my third appointment. Also, at least when I was there, there is a massage chair.
