Punctual. Alicia is the best! Gets you in and out, painless. I have been coming to this office for many years and have always been happy with the service provided. You know an office is good when you have an emergency and they try to schedule in and attend to you even without an appointment. Many years ago I had neglected to visit the dentist for my cleanings which resulted in a bad infection and needed a deep cleaning. Immediately I was scheduled and since I was in so much pain they broke up the cleaning in different sessions. The hygienist made sure to take her time doing the cleaning since I was in so much pain. Since then I learned my lesson and schedule my visits every 3 months. I wish there were more doctors that focused on punctuality. I have recommended Dr. Lanster and will continue to do so. His staff is great, he is professional and courteous and does a thorough exam after the cleaning by the hygienist. read more

Great dentist. Always on time. The appointments are quick. You are never left waiting a long time. I was recommended this dentist from a friend. They also accept payment plans and different insurances. He treats all ages. The thing I like most about my dentist is the fact that no one here tries to sell you unnecessary services. He tells you what you need and that's it. He doesn't try to sell you tooth whitening etc. I am so glad I finally found my dentist The location is also great. Is right on Coral Way and the palmetto. I came in as an emergency from a bad tooth ache, even though the receptionist said he was booked that day, he took me in, he was very comforting, professional and gentle with me. I've been coming to this dentist quite literally since my adult teeth started growing in. Dr. Lanster has pulled my wisdom teeth and generally always been an excellent doctor for my family and I. I grew up, went to college, moved back to north Miami and continued to come to this clinic for years even though it was a hell of a drive for me. This, however, was my last visit. He must have changed the staff over because all the ladies at the front are beyond rude. They must live miserable lives because they definitely take it out on the clients. They are rude over the phone and beyond cold in person. Shame that after 20 plus years I will be switching to a clinic much closer to me and will definitely look for one that has an overall friendly staff. Can't complain about the hygeinists here, they're great at what they do, but its not enough to make me return. It's been swell. read more

This guy was a complete jerk! This was my first visit, I made an appointment to get a clean up and check up. Once seated they informed me that all they'd do was the X rays (no cleaning) When I explained I want it all done in the same visit, Lanster himself, threw me out of his office. Poor Service! Called for insurance verification and was told it was accepted. Waited one month for appointment. After filling out medical record was told insurance was NOT accepted! Could not get any answer as to why I was given wrong information. No regret or sorry expressed by the staff. read more

My story is a "nightmare" I called it "Nightmare on Elm Street" this doctor Robert Lanster is rude, nasty, uses "shit and bullshit" all the time, he screamed at me, threw my husband out of the office, I went to him for a root canal, I paid him way in advance for the complete work in Cash,the first visit it was hell, he gave me so much pain which in the times I have been to other dentist I have never experienced, I screamed he didn't care I had to beg him to stop and give more anesthesia, he was upset, he doesn't like to give shot pain, second visit he did nothing, the third visit, he did the post, the post went flying to the floor and he just picked it up and put it back on my mouth did not use any hygiene or disinfectant, he drill my tooth so much he left nothing for the crown,then he gave me the news he need to do surgery to have the crown installed, I explain to him he told me at the beginning it was a simple procedure,by the way him knowing my liver disease he gave me antibiotics for no reasons which put in bed for 3 days, he told me he wasn't aware of my illness when I had written down on the doctors questionnaire, and which I told him from the first visit.On the fourth visit I told him I didn't want him to do my crown, he went on screaming, came to me I though he was going to hit me,refused to give me the money only for the crown back,he started using bad language, he told me I was crazy, he doesn't talk he "scream" he has no class should be a PLUMMER not a dentist.Keep away.. read more
