WARNING: BAIT AND SWITCH = illegal!!!…read more I used to come here all the time when I lived in Miami. The dental hygienist Ivelisse was amazing and the reason why I kept coming. However over time there were many problems. They broke off my upper permanent retainer and even they are orthodontist nobody was able to place it back, they ended up giving me Invisalign that was $500 for 4 refills. However I asked about a new refill it's now $1200. If they did not break my retainer I would not have to deal with this. I should not even be paying in the first place. Being back in Florida I wanted to come see the hygienist again. It had been 4 years so I called and specifically asked for what it would cost me before making an appointment. I got a call back and was told it would be $100 so I went ahead with the appointment. The day off they were great with timing. They first did an exam and told me about a cavity. I personally could not see it so I was already questioning that. Before the cleaning they brought me first to check out. I NOW FIND OUT IT IS NOT $100. It is $100 for their program and after that $95 for the cleaning. This is illegal and called bait and switch. I left and did not longer so the cleaning. After that I did not get one but TWO second opinions that both told me I have no cavities!!! So not only did they lure me in, but we're going to perform something of just under $2000 that was unnecessary. This place is bad news. I should have known with when they destroyed my permanent upper retainer and I'm now left with nothing.

Once I received my first set of aligners and signed Invisalign contract making initial payment the service I receive changed drastically. All of my appointments were rescheduled. All of them! Today was my last Invisalign appointment at 10am. I left at 11 because the doctor didn't arrive. The lack of consideration for my time is an unacceptable. If it wasn't for the fact that I had already made the Invisalign contract with him and started doing everything here I would've gone to a different dentist office by now, but unfortunately, I'm stuck with a Doctor Who selfishly is only concerned with his own time, not that of his patients.

After he was done with the filling, instead of filing it down, he casually asked me "Do you mind if I file down the tooth above this one with the filling ( side left upper jaw), so you can bite correctly, because the filling is too tall?" I can only imagine the look on my face when I asked him back " So let me confirm, you want to ruin my healthy tooth, that has no problem whatsoever, by filing down its natural enamel, instead of filing down the filling you just did on the tooth with the problem?"
