Upon arriving to Simply Smiles office, I was greeted by the front desk who were very nice and offered me beverages. I was walked into the procedure room where x-rays were taken. I was coming in for a cleaning with the office hygienist, which was the best cleaning I've ever had. After Dr. Trujillo confirmed I had 2 cavities I came in the following day. Dr. Kiara Trujillo was very gentle and made my teeth happy again by removing the cavities. The office smells very clean and there is a sense of peace! Can't wait to go back for my second cleaning. I have been a loyal patient at Simply Smiles for over a year. Usually I do not write reviews, but I have never been so blatantly disrespected like this. I made an appointment a week in advance. I received confirmation texts days before my appointment. The day of my appointment, I received a call and text while I was at work an hour before my appointment time. I do not check my phone while I am working, so I did not see the message until I left work to go to my appointment. All I saw was a text that said my appointment would now be rescheduled an hour later- which did not work with my schedule since I had already made plans the week before. When I called, the lady on the phone and doctor both decided to cancel my appointment without further explanation besides the fact they were busy. Is this not the reason why appointments are booked in advance? To prevent situations like this? I make appointments in advance since I am busy with work- especially during the busy holiday season. It is extremely unprofessional behavior to reschedule/cancel an appointment the hour before. There are fees and measures that prevent patients from rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment for this same reason. This same rule should apply to the office as well. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was informed she was with a patient and she would call me back. When I called back after an hour of no response, the lady on the phone told me she had left for the day and would be calling me tomorrow. Not only did I not get a follow up, but the woman I spoke with on the phone gave me a fake email of where to address my complaints! I am extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled and I hope there can be some way this can be resolved. This office puts on a facade of caring for their patients, but when it comes down to it, their actions reflect indifference to patient needs and concerns. I STRONGLY recommend you save your time and take your business elsewhere. read more

Beware of this office. They are nice in the beginning but when you don't do the work they say you need, they become rude. They are unprofessional and not honest. I had 2 different types of work done because they said I needed it but, after the 3rd, I went for a second opinion and was told I didn't need the work they were telling me I needed. I highly recommend this group! My children have been patients for several years. The office is very smoothly run and well-staffed. I appreciate their simple and straightforward text reminders for appointments. So let me start by saying the quality of work done by Dr. Alexander Trujillo was up to par with other dentist I've seen in the past. What I do not appreciate is the blatant lies and lack of professional care/concern for his patients time. His office hours clearly state they close at 5:00 PM and his office staff set an appointment for 4:15 PM which was verified via text and email. On more than one occasion Alex called minutes prior to my appointment time in order confirm I would be arriving as scheduled. When I replied "Yes I will see you at 4:10", which is 5 minutes early to the scheduled appointment, he threw a temper tantrum and claimed he had a meeting to attend and couldn't be late so we would have to reschedule. He also called me a liar and said that his last scheduled appointment that day was at 4 not 4:15. This was the third time in 2 years since I started using him as my dentist that he came up with the same excuse and rescheduled me. I am a professional business man so I value time...mine and others, Dr Trujillo unfortunately does not. Ohhh and I forgot to add that the only reason I had to see him that day was because his Hygienist ripped out one of my old fillings while flossing my teeth 2 days prior. He left me in pain instead of treating me which is completely unacceptable especially in his line of work. Fortunately I was able to see an amazing dentist in Kendall who patched me up the next day and was upfront and honest. I was taught to treat the Janitor with the same respect as the CEO...just because I sweep floors doesn't mean your time is more valuable. read more

I have been going to falls dental for years and had to switch to this office for insurance reasons and I'd rather go back to the falls dental and pay out of pocket then to go back to this office. A truly pleasant experience. The front desk staff was warm and inviting, with little-to-no paperwork to fill out, my first dental visit in 12 years was already off to a good start. Having a huge fear of the dentist had kept me away for much longer than recommended. Once called in, x-rays were taken and then a consult with the very sweet and soft-spoken, Dr. Kiara Miro-Trujillo. As gentle and mind-easingly possible, she let me know the damage that had been caused in the past 12 years and then reassured me that everything would be ok, everything was fixable and that I would be taken care of. Next, I sat with the hygienist. She went over my X-rays, put a bib on me, I laid back and she began my (deep) cleaning. I really can't stand the noise of all of the dental machinery so she was totally cool with me wearing headphones during the entire cleaning. Thanks to her gentle hand and a wonderful anesthetic, there was no pain. None! Zero! She worked quickly and efficiently and I can honestly say my teeth look AMAZING! Looking forward to going back to Simply Smiles to get my Simpli5 retainers (similar to Invisalign). I am totally at ease now... Thank You Simply Smiles for completely removing my fear of dentists! Let me start by saying I do not like going to the dentist. I can deal with pain anywhere else, but when it comes to my mouth, I can't. This was my first time ever going to simply smiles, my wife is a regular there. As soon as you walk in, you get this feeling like if you have been there before. The ladies in the front desk are very professional and courteous and make you feel at ease. The dental hygienist is very good at her job. Very detailed with her cleaning and she took her time to explain everything she did and why. It was quite painless. A few days later I went in for a few wisdom teeth removed. The oral surgeon and his staff were amazing. He gave me a comforting feeling about the whole procedure. He also took his time and explained everything he was going to do. As he administered the lidocaine, he did it in a way where you didn't feel the needle at all in your mouth. I cannot express with words how great of an experience I had with simply smiles. They even call you the next day to make sure you are ok and if you need anything to make you comfortable. Found a life long dentist and I have recommended to everyone I have spoken to go visit simply smiles. Thank you!!! read more
