Love a good closed room karaoke place. I have been going here every time I visit New York with friends. The rooms are pretty big for big groups of 9 or more. They have different software for singing like either using the YouTube or the Korean software to be able to sing songs. The rooms are super cool with the lights and the two TVs so your not giving it back to ur friends but can look straight at them while signing! The soju cocktail is very good, I highly recommend it. Visited on a Saturday night just before 8pm. Mad a pre "reservation" online a few days before. Located in the heart of K Town NYC, this place had a nice vibe. The room was spacious and had cool lights. Music selection was OK, they need to add some newer music. Sang destiny child, Nicki Minaj and Chris brown. Definitely pricey, but maybe that's just the standard for New York. I came with a group of 6 on a Friday night, and we were able to get a room immediately. After looking at the package options, we opted for the Grey Goose package and chose 2 hours, which totaled to around $60 per person. It came with a bottle of champagne, orange juice, and a fruit platter as well - I did really appreciate that fruit. The room was nice, though a little cramped, and operating the queue wasn't too complex either. We loved the energy our waiter had though, and that definitely added to the experience. read more

We had to wait nearly 20 minutes for our drink service and waited 45 minutes for our $7 Ramen (bowl noodle soup) that cost $2 at a regular store. Honestly over priced. Shot menu is also overpriced i was charged $57 for 3 jaegerbombs. All in all spent nearly 480 for just the room/ forced bottle service/ramen(that came at the end of our hour) plus the $57 seperate tab for the shots of Jaeger. Would not recommend. read more

Thank you Karaoke WOW for showing me and 14 of my coworkers a good time. We had just finished dinner at the new KPOT further away from the main Ktown area, so had to push my reservation time of 9pm twice. We got there around 10:05, and they told me they gave my original room away, *sigh* fair, but okay because they gave me a 20 minute wait time for the next room. Coworkers and I drank a little in the small waiting area which was colorful and puffed up vapor every few minutes, eh, I'd say drink somewhere else because though they are tasty, they are watered down. The bottle service... it was fun (but definitely expensive, expect this on a weekend)! But the Casa Migos also tasted... watered down? Lol. Whatever. Their system is the tablet/YouTube system, I wish it was the old school book but it's fine... everything is there. The room we were given was way smaller (tight for 15, definitely, that was probably a room for 10-12 but we made it work) than what I assume was originally going to be ours but I was still satisfied with the customer service and the 30 min complimentary we had gotten at the end. read more

We made a Saturday night reservation for 3 hours. They brought us the check after one hour, saying that the website only allows for one hour reservations. Despite showing the hostess our confirmation showing a three hour reservation, they kicked us out, saying they had a reservation booked right after us. So basically we planned a night out of karaoke here was cut short after an hour and we're headed to Sing Sing on St. Mark's instead. Also, the English section of the book is minuscule, maybe a dozen pages, and only arranged by song title, not artist. Oh, and if you don't have a reservation, you need to buy bottle service at $300+ to get in a room. Avoid this place. It might be the worst private room karaoke place in K-town. read more

This place sucks ass. If you are under 21 or don't have your IDs, don't come here. They will scam you. I went with 8 other people (5 of which were under 21), and they stated that we had to spend $90 on food plus $90 for an hour of karaoke. The guy wasted 5 minutes of our PAID time. Then, they included a 25% tip on our bill. When we questioned the main person, he rudely stated "well, do you want to sing or not?" After hesitation, he goes "are you going to sign the bill?" There's a reason why this place is not rated as high as others in the area. In short: they advertise special deals and discounts but take them back at the end, and the tech used at this place is not as up to date as others. Below are the list of things this place didn't do well/should improve: 1. Our server, who was also our cashier, had told us he can give us 30 min free if we wrote yelp reviews for this place. We therefore agreed to extend our time by 30 minutes but when we got to the register after our time was up, he told us that he already charged us for the 30 minutes. We had told him we would do reviews but he didn't tell us it had to be before our 30 minutes are up. I would think reviews should be comprehensive and include up to the time we pay/finish/service is done so that they can reflect our whole experience So, just be careful when discounts are presented to you. 2. When you first come in, they have no instruction on how to use the machines without being asked to come in and help; they should at least ask if we have been there before. Also, the phone to order was never answered and host not always at the reception counter to take orders; putting a sign up may be helpful. 3. The karaoke technology is not as up to date. They do have an ok collection of songs, including newer ones, so that was good. 4. FYI, they include at 18% tip automatically. We noticed this place was empty when others in the area were fully booked so my group thought if they improved their service, they'd do better overall as a business and have more regular customers. read more

Started off an ok experience. They said we had to pick a package to get a room( the packages were all $250 and up and now that I'm reading other reviews I'm thinking we were scammed since we were new). The other thing I noticed is the system is way too difficult to use? Like I'm saying they hand you a Jerusalem generation 1100 tablet and you gotta figure out how to use it. Shit was difficult especially when you're already half drunk. Our staff member who served us tho was extremely lit tho and if I could give a 5 star just based on her I would. She came in with the bottle lit up and ready to party. It was fun! This was where it got weird, we were maybe 3 songs in when a group of guys came in to our room. At first I was ok with it for maybe 2 songs but they would not go away even after we asked. Not only did that happen but ANOTHER group wondered in and one of the guys was freaking vaping which was not ok with us at all. I went to tell the bartender and I think she misunderstood me bc she said the guys at the bar knew them and all they did was go in and take the girls that were in the room out leaving us(a group of 3 girls) with 6 grown men, all strangers. Completely ruined it for me since I intended to drink a little before stopping to get my friends home but had to completely stop so I could fully pay attention to what was happening around us. I could have obviously been more stern and kicked them out but I was fully uncomfortable and in over my head. I tried approaching the staff a couple more times but I couldn't get anyone's attention. I think that they definitely need to reorganize the way they set up their rooms and maybe have a security to keep this from happening. Or maybe have the ability to lock the doors from the outside/be able to open them from the inside and have the staff be able to access with keys.The experience turned out ok for us bc I had the sense of mind to stop drinking but I fear it could happen to other ppl and things wouldn't turn out ok for them. At the end of the day I paid $347 to be uncomfortable when I went in trying to have a great experience with my friends for the weekend! Didn't even get to drink or really sing. Less than a star -- would give 0 if I could. DO NOT COME HERE. Waste of money... and time!!! (Honest review) First of all, microphone is ridiculously old/and muffled. The staff was unable to fix the microphone issue. Only gave us extra 10 mins when we wasted 20 minutes trying to fix the microphone issue. Second of all, price is over-rated. $50/hr (4ppl) -- required to order $50 worth of alcohol (bc its weekend?!). For 8 ppl -- its $80/hr -- god knows how much alcohol you have to order. Rip off for NRB in K-town. There are wayyyyyyyy better NRB in K-town -- please reconsider as you make your way here. (Here are some examples: Karaoke City, MK Karaoke.. across the street) Third, kindly prevent yourself from anger on a precious weekend. You will want to leave within 10 mins of staying in the room. You will end up with hoarse voice due to screaming into the microphone. Overall - horrific experience. Very disappointed. Will never ever return again. Oh and avoid room# 6 -- worst sound system in my karaoke experience. And this is not my first time in karaoke. I hope this was helpful! read more
