Best karaoke experience I had in Ktown, and I've went to a couple! This place in particular was BYOB. You can make reservations online, and they will send you clear instructions and info through email. The person running the place that day was chill and nice. The price is $9 person per hour for more than 5 people. If you pay in cash, there's a discount, and they also accept Venmo for the discount! The place felt like a dingy motel, but I kind of like it. It still had pretty soundproof rooms, and the bathroom was clean with even amenities! The sound system was also easy to use, which is so rare! There's a Korean and an English system. The English system's device actually responds to our finger presses well! There's even a website where you can search up any songs you like on your phone, in addition to the traditional books. There was also a good amount of songs available! There were some cases where songs skipped, but it wasn't a lot for it to be a bummer. They also offer a polaroid photo with your group, which adds a personal touch to the walls. I'd definitely recommend 32 whenever we need a karaoke spot in Ktown. read more

We had a good time here! Didn't know it was BYOB, we only went for an hour here. I'll definitely need to go back sometime, but they were very nice when we went. If I remember correctly we had to pick from a list of songs, so choices were limited vs places that used Youtube! It did have some new songs though, which was great! read more

Good for large groups and open late. Going up to the place is a little claustrophobic but I feel like that's most places in Koreatown. BYOB

The AC was off on a very hot day, the room was broken down, the lights were not working and the guy left us there in the dark. Until I said something and he moved us to another room, and then the sound wasn't working. By the time we started it was over a half hour in. And I had to ask for extra time, they didn't automatically discount it or just give us extra time. And they only gave us 20 mins. Do not recommend. Poor customer service and really beat up place! Go to a more modern one. They don't have a lot of songs and the devices are hard to navigate. read more

Didn't realize this was byob! Came with a group of friends and did the all you can drink deal, which seemed worth it. You had to download an app and use their wifi to add songs, which seemed a bit cumbersome but flowed smoothly because everyone could add songs/arrange order. We ended up using one phone anyways, though. It was nice to be able to type to find songs/artists rather than flipping through a book or typing it on a remote. Lots of rooms of different sizes. Music was a little loud, wish there were options to adjust volume. Would come back read more

This is a hidden gem! When you get to the address, you'll think "surely, this can't be it." But once you take the elevator up, you'll find large, rentable rooms with great song lists. And the best part is...you can BYOB and bring your own food! But in addition, they sell food and full bottles of wine and drink there. I was in room 1 with a large group and we had plenty of room to sit and mingle, and the counter/table was large enough for pizza, drinks, snacks, and a cake! read more

(To the tune of 1000 miles by Vanessa Carlton) Making our way downtown, walking face, faces past - still found 32 karaoke. Definitely keep an eye out and find the sign that takes you to the stairs/elevator up to 32 Karaoke. This karaoke bar is a little more hidden, but absolutely a gem. When we discovered it the first time earlier in the year, we loved their BYOB model and blasted through an hour of time very quickly. Many drinks were had and many songs were song in a small group. I ended up coming back later in the year to celebrate my birthday and it was a fantastic time. Anyone who knows me knows I can span MANY genres in a karaoke session. The song choices were all there. Everything from "Don't go Breaking my Heart" to "Breaking Free" from High School Musical, to my signature "You Belong with Me" by Taylor Swift, to "Face Down" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, to "Pink Pony Club" by Chappell Roan, to "Holding Out for a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler (from Shrek). All the options were there to satisfy the crowds. A few of my friends aren't even Karaoke people (my husband included) and we were able to get them in for one track. Truly some of the most fun nights had at 32 Karaoke. It's BYOB and can bring your own food, or purchase them at the front. Can't wait for a future get together and gathering at 32 Karaoke! read more

Came here for a friend's birthday. We were large group of around 13 and we all fit and had enough space in the room we had. Fun time with BYOB (they do sell some alcohol there and some Korean sake) you can bring any food you like as well. Just keep in mind nothing to warm up so more like snacks or can order. 2 hours go by really quickly so definitely get there on time and make the most of your time. One negative is the elevator is small and sketchy but as long as u don't jump and add to many people you're good! Or you can go up 6 flights ! read more

My fiancé and I came here on a whim and we loved it. It's BYOB and they also have some drinks and snacks for purchase as well. It was $36 an hour, and that was the cheapest could find in the area. The private room for the two of us could have probably fit comfortably another 2-4 people. Large selection of songs and there are even tambourines in the room which makes it even more fun. They give a 10% discount if you pay with cash as well. Only, only, negative thing about this experience was that the elevators were down when we got there so climbing the stairs was a good warm up lol. They were fixed when we left 3 hours later.. (: Would definitely go back next time in the city. read more

BYOB is such a great way to save on money when trying to have fun in NYC! My group wasn't able to begin until everyone arrived but once we were all together the party was so much fun. The room is perfect for our group of 7. The karaoke system were easy to use! For sure willing to go back! read more

great experience there for my bday. the only thing, is they say it's 9-12 bucks a person, but the total came out to over 400 dollars. not sure how with just three hours for 9 people. should have been about 245 dollars, but they add their own tip amount instead of letting you tip what you like. especially since they aren't serving drinks or food. it's byob and byof so you're essentially serving yourself the whole time. but it was a lot of fun and i would go back, just be aware that they'll give themselves a 100 dollar tip read more

It was okay. Good song selection. Bartender was chill. It's expensive AF though. I went with 25 people and it was still like 30 bucks a head? How? Also the equipment was faulty and sometimes the mics didn't work. read more

It was such a great time. I made a reservation for a group of 5 a few hours prior to arriving. When we arrived, the owner was extremely welcoming and showed us to the room. There's so many songs and the remote was very simple to work with. Even though it's BYOB, the owner provided us with cups, shot glasses, tissues, and water for free. Make sure to bring cash because there's a 15% discount paying with cash. My friends and I will definitely come here again!! read more

On the website it says 9 dollars per person per hour for parties with 5 or more people and our group stayed for 1.5 hours with a group of 10, so it should be 120 dollars total. Instead, he made the rate 12 dollars per person, bringing the total to 180 dollars. Crammed bathroom, doors on the bathrooms dont lock, crazy gaslighting and manipulation by the guy up front to extort money from high schoolers. read more

the pricing and manipulation is insane. the owner falsely advertised the pricing. online it says $36 per hour (for 1-4 people), and an extra $9 per extra person. we had 10 people and spent 1.5 hours; our total should have been about $120. But, this man charged us $162 in cash, and $182 card. He didn't even let us split the money. totally unfair and betrayed. read more

This place has a great song selection and the mics work really well. They also provide ice and you can bring your own beers and snacks. I've done karaoke a bunch of times at their sister location, Gagopa. However, I was extremely frustrated by a number of things. 1) They don't give any warnings for when your time is up. They just let the clock keep running and literally charge by the minute so it's really on you to make sure that you keep an eye on the clock. 2) In addition, if you're not fully certain that your entire group will come out, put down a smaller reservation group. I put down a reservation for a party of 8 but only 6 people could make it and was charged for 8 people, meaning that I paid an additional $18 per hour which doesn't include the running clock, tax, and mandatory tip. They were straightforward at the beginning and did mention that they would be charging me for 8 people even though only 6 showed. 3) They also have a mandatory 24% tip on top of everything else. While you can pay 10% less if you pay in cash, it still feels like they're just a place there to take all of your money. 4) Their ventilation system needs major improvements. For most of the night, we could smell cigarette smoke inside the room. I don't know if another one of the rooms was smoking but it's pretty irritating to inhale used cigarette smoke. Not just that but it's also illegal in NYC. read more

Easily the best karaoke spot in k-town. It's BYOB (likely it's biggest pro, they even have cups, ice, and straws for free), has cheap beers ($4 a beer, $20 for a 6pack), and has a solid song lineup. They use the singsongmedia website (google it) for their song lineup, so you can check if they have songs that you want. The decor is shabby, the bathrooms are janky, the rooms aren't too pretty, but the value is immense. For a party of 7, we paid around ~$170 for 2 hours. Totally worth it (if you can get a reservation) read more

32 Karaoke made my 27th birthday a time to REMEMBER!!! It was easy to reserve my room and the room was big enough for my 21 guests. I was able to bring food and everyone was able to bring their own liquor. I felt like I was being annoying at one point because I was only meant to have 16 guests & kept asking if I can pay for more people but the staff at 32 karaoke accommodated me with no problem. I'm so grateful for them and can't wait to go back. Would recommend!!! (i also wanted to throw in that It's decorated with crazy lights, colors and shapes-- i guess that doesn't matter but it was hard to match theme with my birthday because of the atmosphere but with such a great location, staff & accommodation... all of that didn't matter) read more

If you're just looking to sing and have a good time with your friends, this is a great spot! It's really affordable, spacious and allows byob/f. There's a lot of food spots to order from as well. I highly recommend. read more

Seunghwan was incredibly helpful in setting my group and I up for a large reservation. Reasonably-priced and BYOB/food which is awesome. This place absolutely rescued our night. We ended up here after striking out trying to get rooms at a few other nearby establishments, and frankly I'm glad it turned out that way. The staff here was totally delightful; they gave us an extra 15 minutes and beers on the house just because we were polite and courteous (life pro tip: learn how to say thank you in as many languages as you can. I don't know if my poorly-pronounced 'gam sa habni da" is the reason the Korean-speaking staff was extra wonderful to us or if that's just how they roll here, but I'm sure it didn't hurt). Song selection was vast, sounds systems bumped, and the overall atmosphere of the place was welcoming and friendly (as opposed to the cooler-than-thou vibe I got from the places we first tried. Oh and the rooms were better priced than those places too). We ended up staying for an hour longer than planned because we were having such a blast and we were treated so well. I reinstalled Yelp just to leave them this review. Can't wait to come back when I'm on the east coast again! read more

the front desk man was manipulative and charged us way too much for a group for an hour and a half - AVOID AT ALL COST

Came here randomly as we were looking for night activities nearby after roaming. This place could be cleaner and have music videos that matched the songs, but was solid and satisfied our karaoke needs. We couldn't figure out how to bump up the sound of the song lyrics vs just hearing our voices the entire time. We got 4 soju bottles, 4 beers, 3 bags of chips and spent nearly 2 hours there for a total of $150. Not bad between 4. Appreciated the nice staff onsite that evening too. read more

definitely not the most upscale thing place in ktown but 10/10 for our purposes. GREAT song selection (songs for my dad, my friends and even my emo ass), byob + food allowed, they have the sweetest cat in the front who greeted us as we were leaving. person who led us to our rooms and checked in on us was lovely, only came in a couple times and mostly left us to our own devices, karaoke system was relatively easy to use (there were books but they were sorted by artist and there was a searchable online catalogue as well), reasonable prices, nice room with two karaoke screens, wireless mics. it was a great experience. i think we will almost certainly be coming back :) read more

32 Karaoke - our bucket with champagne and wine that we brought, chilling in ice. each party gets a small private room. - Karaoke Near Me - New York, New York

This place made for a really fun time! Came here with a group of like 10 people. The place is on the 6th floor of a nondescript building. It's in the middle of Korea town, which was super busy at the time we went and took a bit of searching before we found the building. There's only one small elevator in the building, but it was broken with a sign inside saying "don't jump in the elevator, it will her stuck." I did try to use the elevator but the doors didn't even close so we took the stairs all the way up. Once we got to the karaoke place, we were met with bright strobing lights. The room that was booked for us was huuuuge. Our party was there for about two hours and they have THOUSANDS of song options. They had two books--one for songs by artist and one by song title. Using their system is also pretty straightforward. We were here for one of my friend's birthday so they gave us complimentary bottles of champagne. That was a really cute touch to the night. This was one of my few times going for karaoke but I'll definitely be down to come back! read more

Really rude customer service! I never give one star review but I've never experienced that kind of rudeness service before. We went there without rsvp but space is not available. However, the front desk person yelled at us and almost kicked us out! I'll never come back again read more

BYOB. BYOF(ood). Clean. Organized. Mike covers. Wine opener. Good lighting. Thick updated song books. $12/person per hour. They know what they do and they do it well. With so many good Korean restaurants nearby, this place takes care of the karaoke, and yay for that! We popped three bottles of bubbly two of which we brought in. Moët and scones. This is what we had karaokeing our Whitney and Lauren, and why not? So many possible pairings, so many possibilities... drunken love indeed, we will be back! read more

Had a great experience coming here for the first time last weekend. Only $9 per person plus BYOB and BYOF(ood)! Such a great deal, especially if you take advantage of these offers. Staff was friendly and quick to clean rooms after people exit. List of songs was fairly well updated, but not completely current (last updated in November during March visit). My only complaint was that the room we had for 8 people was pretty small, so it got fairly hot and sweaty inside after singing our hearts out for 2 hours. Nonetheless, this was a great time and I'd definitely come back. read more

This is a great late night karaoke spot in Koreatown as it opens really late and are lenient about their hours. While it closes at 4am, they say they officially close at 5am, not rushing the people that are inside. There are great song selections and fairly intuitive remote control to queue up songs to play. The ambience is also really colorful and popping, perfect for the night young crowds. At the end, though, the employee is forcing my friend to pay the tip that is supposedly mandatory which it shouldn't be. If they didn't make that move we would be more than happy to do the 18%. Otherwise, this is a decent karaoke option in the heart of Koreatown. read more

Impromptu karaoke night means trying new places! Hooray for the customer service at 32 Karaoke. After a call to see if they had availability at 9:30 pm on a Friday, they were kind enough to hold a large room for us without a reservation and to call back and confirm with my party. My group went in blind as to the room quality, song selection, and pricing, and we were pleasantly surprised. Once you get past the sketchy, 5 person capacity elevator (or the six flights of stairs), you're greeted with lots of LED lights, friendly staff, and a well stocked snack and drink bar. They opened up a huge 15 person private room, with plenty of seats and more LED strobe lighting (which we turned off because it was a bit too much). Pricing is $7 per person per hour when you have 8+ people, which is a good deal. Drinks and snacks are extra, but they are happy to let you bring food or drinks in. The rooms are not the newest or most modern, but they get the job done. I'm guessing, but I think they have around 10 private rooms in varying sizes. Song selection is good if you're singing in English and you're okay with a few month lag on your Billboard top 100. There are no songs in Chinese, but they do have Korean. Most videos are lyrics only, no video, unless you're singing very recent songs which may have the actual music video. The most notable thing about song selection is that they have provided an online database you can access via your phone, which is your best source for the most recent additions. Its faster to sort through than the binders, which end up adding all the new songs in the back by the date they added them. The cell phone reception is good in the room we had, so this made things way easier. The sound system is strong but you have to balance levels on your own. Its also a bit older, but intuitive to use. They have mike covers if you're a germaphobe. Free water and lollipops at the counter! read more

This is not the best karaoke place I've been to, but definitely one of the better ones. To get there, you have step inside a tiny elevator that fits about 4 people and go to the 6th floor. Once you step off, you will notice how clean and bright this place looks. There is a small counter where you can order drinks and snacks (no open bar karaoke here) and the private rooms. You are allowed to bring your own food and drink as well. My friends and I got a private room for three people. The room itself was pretty small, but I found their sound system to be very good quality. The microphone was clear and you can even control the volume of the music. The song selection of this place was also excellent. Not the biggest selection I've seen at a karaoke, but above average with a lot of current songs. Definitely recommended. read more
