This the WORST auto shop I've ever encountered in 30+ years in customizing cars. He lied to me constantly about them work, what he would do when it would be done and the parts. He kept my car for 18 months until I had to go and repossess it and when I finally got it back the car had serious damage that cost $1000's of dollars to frost just to get it back to where it was when I left it with him. The owner Joel is a complete con man and as a result I was forced to file a lawsuit against him for his fraud and the significant damage to my car. Nightmare experience. Gave Joel a list of what I'd like done he said bring it by Monday. 10 days there, frequently calling and not a single person there knowing what is being done on my vehicle. Nightly get some short message at night saying sorry i was so busy today. After 9 days of bs, i say im picking up my car tomorrrow with or without tires. So on day 10, I pick up my car and only 2 hrs max worth of work has been done. 1 of those hours being installation of new 35inch tires. I arrive to see my left front new tire all scuffed up. Whatever....I pay 1500$ and drive away. Scraping metal sound on front left tire area. I have Joel go for a test drive and he says that noise may have been there. It was nighttime and couldn't see much so I drove home. Inspected it better once home and saw the damage. Left caliper bent downward and in as well as my rim gouged all the way around from it. Called Joel the next day and he blames my mechanic for installing brand new disc brakes improperly that have been working perfect for 3-4 weeks. 0% chance my mechanic installed it like that and 0% I wouldn't have heard it. After him telling me multiple other reasons why its not his fault because "they didn't work on the brakes", he told me i could bring it back and he will look at it. He already denied responsibility, yet it doesnt take sherlock holmes to know what happened. I don't want to assume but he should know the brakes and tires are in the same area. So now I have to tow my vehicle to my mechanic although I drove it to kao just fine. I don't trust him and will never let him touch any of my vehicles again. I suggest you do the same. I asked to see the shop camera and I'll walk away if nothing abnormal. No response. As with other reviews, I asked myself as I pulled up why am I here. It's amazing as a mechanic he couldn't own up to the only way to bend that in that direction is with force from above it. So I guess I'm out about 700$ for new brakes that were brand new a month ago. Disappointed and angry. Stay away. Wish I could give zero stars and never have went there. I trust sushi from a gas station before this place. All the 4x4 and jeep groups, such as Silver State Jeepers Anonymous Battle Born Jeeps, my friends and I are associated with will know and be warned about this place and their shady practices. I have had two jeeps lifted, steel bumpers front and rear, wheels and tires all around on both and they did an outstanding job. The customer service was great, I did a shake down run and brought it back and they checked all of the hardware for loosening and mounting problems as part of the rebuild service. One day out on the trail the brake line was yanked off by the shock relocation and brake line bracket and they replaced it at no cost to me since it was part of the work they did. It took 7 months to get the owner of this place to get a replacement title, this is after 10+ promises to get it replaced. Guy is a compulsive liar!!! Lying over and over and over again. To the point of mecum auto auctions had to get involved and even with their help took months and months and more repeated lying and dishonesty. I wanted to sell my car at several different auctions, took so long for these liars to keep their word and replace title that I have lost thousands and thousands of dollars due to car becoming out dated. Decent prices on tires and rims, BUT... Wanted rooms "customized" by doing some paint work to match our Jeep. Quoted us one price, to powder-coat inserts on rims... Then the next day told us it was going to be twice the price... Then when we got the rims, they were only painted, not powder-coated. And HORRIBLE paint job. Peeled off while trying to install rims. They did a good job on my dash and door panels but they put a DVD stereo on my car that doesn't even go with my phone and on top of that the GPS on it does not work, it it really bad. A/c panel gets hot and turns off. I keep calling them but they ignore my calls and forward them all the times. I feel like I got ripped off. Really unsatisfied. read more

Interested in HALO Oracle rim kits and Kevin answered all my questions. Put a deposit down on getting the parts in, set an appt for 2 weeks later while I was out of town. Kevin and his team installed the HALO while I was not able to use the car, visiting friends in another city. KAO let me pick up the car afterhours on Saturday even though they were technically closed so I wasn't vehicleless for the weekend. Happy with the work, and they even installed a physical rocker switch for me no charge. Will be back to do my headlights with HALO. Thanks KAO! read more

Friendly staff and quick service for auto tinting, but wow quality was so bad. Film was wrinkled in a couple spots, bubbles galore, and don't expect them to tint to the window edge. I swear there is a 1/8" and close 3/16" on some edges. Of course, I didn't discover the edge issue for 4 days after the job was done (due to instruction not to open the windows until after a week). Well, for $150, what can you expect? On the other hand, I've seen $150 jobs that were flawless. It's probably just an inexperienced tinter. So, if you want your "baby" tinted, I'd take it elsewhere. read more

Well where do I start. They will sell you a set of rims for a car that comes with staggered wheels from the factory (wider in rear) and even though the bolt pattern is the same )as they stock tons of multi hole wheels) but offsets and widths are not specific to vehicle and will put them on anyway. Having the wheels stick inside the wheel well. They can care less about customer service, its just in n out and take your money. Oh and can I tell you that they have burnt oh just about every bridge with the local wholesalers where they purchase products from due to NOT paying them and giving them a check that bounces. What a shady way of doing business. This shop and the owner Joel are simply some shady and crooked people to work with. NEVER NEVER do business with them, I know I won't. And given the research I have performed and people I spoke to, I'm in line with ALOT of people that share my same point of view... BEWARE!!!! read more

The air didn't even work in here either... I told them what I was looking for and they didn't even show me around. I looked for myself and saw some Forgiattos I told the man working I liked them was 3,600 the price like on the sticker, and he said that those were on consignment. then I asked how much for new he said 7,000! I'm a girl and I was alone but I'm not stupid that's ridiculous and they were obviously trying to take advantage of me, so I walked out. Then the owner and women who was working came over bombarding me with questions about what I was looking for and what price, and that they would give me a good deal. I told them this is not the way you do business you should've said all that inside goodbye. I then went to Lavish Motoring and Elite motoring and they both quoted me New Forgiattos (vs Kao's used same price) for 3,600 These shops are way more upscale and more helpful then Kao.
