ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. Don't even waste your time reading this and move elsewhere. Let's start by the fact they don't even have room on property to fit your car to work on it. Still reading? Ok, how about I had to come back 3 TIMES to get the same thing repaired and they STILL DON'T WORK! Don't be fooled by their fancy show builds their residential work is absolute garbage. read more

This the WORST auto shop I've ever encountered in 30+ years in customizing cars. He lied to me constantly about them work, what he would do when it would be done and the parts. He kept my car for 18 months until I had to go and repossess it and when I finally got it back the car had serious damage that cost $1000's of dollars to frost just to get it back to where it was when I left it with him. The owner Joel is a complete con man and as a result I was forced to file a lawsuit against him for his fraud and the significant damage to my car. Whatever you do, do NOT give this man or his company your car. It is a complete scam. read more

I would highly recommend staying away from this company. We completed some work for them and they never paid the agreed upon bills. We were given the run around by the owner Joel for several months before he finally stopped responding. read more

I had issues before, but Joel made a huge change. Anthony is great and is knowledgeable with cars. Getting another set of rims on my Lexus. I known the owner a long time and this is the place to be if you want to get rims, system, tints, and etc. Anything to do with customs work i would definitely recommend this place. Thanks again Joel and Anthony! read more

I'll tell you this there are plenty of other places that are dependable, I asked them to simply do one little thing and here we are 5 1/2 months later and still hasn't gotten it done and on top of that Joel the owner said he could do hasn't reached out to me to follow up or anything. These guys use to be the place to go to know I'm going to take my business else where! I gave them a one star and they really deserve none read more

Nightmare experience. Gave Joel a list of what I'd like done he said bring it by Monday. 10 days there, frequently calling and not a single person there knowing what is being done on my vehicle. Nightly get some short message at night saying sorry i was so busy today. After 9 days of bs, i say im picking up my car tomorrrow with or without tires. So on day 10, I pick up my car and only 2 hrs max worth of work has been done. 1 of those hours being installation of new 35inch tires. I arrive to see my left front new tire all scuffed up. Whatever....I pay 1500$ and drive away. Scraping metal sound on front left tire area. I have Joel go for a test drive and he says that noise may have been there. It was nighttime and couldn't see much so I drove home. Inspected it better once home and saw the damage. Left caliper bent downward and in as well as my rim gouged all the way around from it. Called Joel the next day and he blames my mechanic for installing brand new disc brakes improperly that have been working perfect for 3-4 weeks. 0% chance my mechanic installed it like that and 0% I wouldn't have heard it. After him telling me multiple other reasons why its not his fault because "they didn't work on the brakes", he told me i could bring it back and he will look at it. He already denied responsibility, yet it doesnt take sherlock holmes to know what happened. I don't want to assume but he should know the brakes and tires are in the same area. So now I have to tow my vehicle to my mechanic although I drove it to kao just fine. I don't trust him and will never let him touch any of my vehicles again. I suggest you do the same. I asked to see the shop camera and I'll walk away if nothing abnormal. No response. As with other reviews, I asked myself as I pulled up why am I here. It's amazing as a mechanic he couldn't own up to the only way to bend that in that direction is with force from above it. So I guess I'm out about 700$ for new brakes that were brand new a month ago. Disappointed and angry. Stay away. Wish I could give zero stars and never have went there. I trust sushi from a gas station before this place. All the 4x4 and jeep groups, such as Silver State Jeepers Anonymous Battle Born Jeeps, my friends and I are associated with will know and be warned about this place and their shady practices. Not a great business model screwing customers over obvious mistakes done in their shop. Their lack of accountability will cost them more than it's costing me. read more

Kao Auto Styling - As you can see. Days of zero accountability. Would you like this to be you with your vehicle? - Auto Customization Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

If I could give zero stars I would‼‼ I came in for a tire because I got a flat one guys I can't remember his name he looked Hawaiian bald head and tattoos SUPER NICE AND RESPECTFUL I 100% percent appreciate him There was some white guy that was changing my tire my friend went to ask him how much longer it would be since we had been there awhile ....... When he pulled up my car when it was finished he got in my friends face LITERALLY and was like i don't know who you think you are questioning my I'm doing my job!!! He "supposedly" had to pull 20 cars from around back which is BULLSHIT I've been there with my friend who owns another shop they can't even fit 20 cars back there I felt a little bad I just wanted my tire and to go home but that is so rude!!! I'll stick to my friends shop read more

Love these guys! From wheels to full body kits, they can get just about anything for anyone at a price you can't beat with a stick. PS the owner Joel has a wicked limited edition Slim Jim collection. Be sure to ask him about it! read more

These guys state that they are BBB Accredited when indeed they are not!!! Don't know why someone would claim something that isn't true and accurate, but it appears that this business has a difficulty with the truth and a pattern of such behavior. Hmmm.... Spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere where you will actually get what you have been promised. Don't reward unscrupulous businesses such as this one with your business. If you want to hear even more reasons why not to trust these guys to deliver what they have promised, read my previous review too!!! read more

Bought a car of these guys, had issues with getting title and it was lost somehow. It took 7 months to get the owner of this place to get a replacement title, this is after 10+ promises to get it replaced. Guy is a compulsive liar!!! Lying over and over and over again. To the point of mecum auto auctions had to get involved and even with their help took months and months and more repeated lying and dishonesty. I wanted to sell my car at several different auctions, took so long for these liars to keep their word and replace title that I have lost thousands and thousands of dollars due to car becoming out dated. Never ever do business with this outfit, so inconsiderate and rude and compulsive dishonesty and lying its sickening. Bad company and bad owner. Owners word means nothing. Matt J. read more

I have had two jeeps lifted, steel bumpers front and rear, wheels and tires all around on both and they did an outstanding job. The customer service was great, I did a shake down run and brought it back and they checked all of the hardware for loosening and mounting problems as part of the rebuild service. One day out on the trail the brake line was yanked off by the shock relocation and brake line bracket and they replaced it at no cost to me since it was part of the work they did. Great shop! read more

10 plus years ago KAO did the tint work on my car, years and years in the Vegas sun and not a bubble or lift so they were who I thought of when I decided to do a stereo system in my daughters car. Decent prices on tires and rims, BUT... Wanted rooms "customized" by doing some paint work to match our Jeep. Quoted us one price, to powder-coat inserts on rims... Then the next day told us it was going to be twice the price... Then when we got the rims, they were only painted, not powder-coated. And HORRIBLE paint job. Peeled off while trying to install rims. Had to send it back, and wait another week. Then came back.... And the job STILL wasn't done right. And rude, lousy service on top of it all. Kevin( service mgr?!?) Is rude, arrogant, condescending... And won't return text or calls. A month later I FINALLY got some parts that he promised me as a ...result of their failures to deliver promised work?? read more

This place was awesome, the guy at the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable. They gave me superb service and enhanced the product I purchased for the same price I originally was quoted. If your looking for rims and tires this is a sure shot. read more

First impression was wow, look at all of the rims they have in stock!! Then when I got to the counter it was easy to see that they do everything: lights, grills, alarms, tints, performance parts, lowering, full paint, interiors, full customs and restores etc. You name it, they can probably do it. The staff at KAO is great, very knowledgeable and friendly. Just by looking at their own rides you can tell they know their stuff. Phoo was really helpful, he listened to what I wanted, and didn't try to sell something I didn't want. Thanks KAO, you guys rock! read more

They did a good job on my dash and door panels but they put a DVD stereo on my car that doesn't even go with my phone and on top of that the GPS on it does not work, it it really bad. False advertising had add on Craig's list for wrangler bumpers oem and aftermarket $50. I came there to see what they had and there were no aftermarket bumpers. I showed them there add and was told that the add was a ploy to get u in the store to sell u a $500 bumper. I will not be back can't trust a company that lies. Just another bad car company giving Vegas a bad name. read more

Interested in HALO Oracle rim kits and Kevin answered all my questions. Put a deposit down on getting the parts in, set an appt for 2 weeks later while I was out of town. Kevin and his team installed the HALO while I was not able to use the car, visiting friends in another city. KAO let me pick up the car afterhours on Saturday even though they were technically closed so I wasn't vehicleless for the weekend. Happy with the work, and they even installed a physical rocker switch for me no charge. Will be back to do my headlights with HALO. Thanks KAO! read more

Do not become a vendor to these guys. No integrity and they will stiff you. Joel will lie to you over and over again without a second thought. Sure hope they treat their customers better but after reading the reviews it is obvious they do not consistently meet customers expectations. Look at how many 1 star reviews there are currently. How is this a 3.2 rating Yelp? read more

They may not be quick to answer the phone but I can assure you that you'll always be happy with the finished product. I've brought 3 cars in for 3 different things and I'm always blown away at their quick and professional attention to detail. Not to mention the owner Joel is a Mercedes guy so we always talk cars when he's around. Good crew, great work. What more could you ask for? read more

Friendly staff and quick service for auto tinting, but wow quality was so bad. Film was wrinkled in a couple spots, bubbles galore, and don't expect them to tint to the window edge. I swear there is a 1/8" and close 3/16" on some edges. Of course, I didn't discover the edge issue for 4 days after the job was done (due to instruction not to open the windows until after a week). Well, for $150, what can you expect? On the other hand, I've seen $150 jobs that were flawless. It's probably just an inexperienced tinter. So, if you want your "baby" tinted, I'd take it elsewhere. read more

WOW!!! I love my vehicle! Awesome job Kao! Thank you so much for making my 'vision' into reality! Kao Auto Styling - 11 inch lifted Chevy Silverado with a stock engine and stock tranny but will be eat anyone out there in a race!!! - Auto Customization Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

Well where do I start. They will sell you a set of rims for a car that comes with staggered wheels from the factory (wider in rear) and even though the bolt pattern is the same )as they stock tons of multi hole wheels) but offsets and widths are not specific to vehicle and will put them on anyway. Having the wheels stick inside the wheel well. They can care less about customer service, its just in n out and take your money. Oh and can I tell you that they have burnt oh just about every bridge with the local wholesalers where they purchase products from due to NOT paying them and giving them a check that bounces. What a shady way of doing business. This shop and the owner Joel are simply some shady and crooked people to work with. NEVER NEVER do business with them, I know I won't. And given the research I have performed and people I spoke to, I'm in line with ALOT of people that share my same point of view... BEWARE!!!! read more

Horrible just horrible 1 star because it doesn't let me leave 0. I came here today looking for rims. The store was small, disorganized, and just plain ghetto. The air didn't even work in here either... I told them what I was looking for and they didn't even show me around. I looked for myself and saw some Forgiattos I told the man working I liked them was 3,600 the price like on the sticker, and he said that those were on consignment. then I asked how much for new he said 7,000! I'm a girl and I was alone but I'm not stupid that's ridiculous and they were obviously trying to take advantage of me, so I walked out. Then the owner and women who was working came over bombarding me with questions about what I was looking for and what price, and that they would give me a good deal. I told them this is not the way you do business you should've said all that inside goodbye. I then went to Lavish Motoring and Elite motoring and they both quoted me New Forgiattos (vs Kao's used same price) for 3,600 These shops are way more upscale and more helpful then Kao. Spend ur money elsewhere. read more

I will never call or come to this shop again for ANYTHING! Spoke with multiple personnel and each and every one of them lied to me. They promised me the rims I had been looking for.
