    Hot Cheetos corn dog

Place is small but clean has a couple of tables to sit and dine. We order the 2 corn dogs with fries which were reasonably priced. Both were delicious and filling. I would definitely recommend!

Food was good quality and tasty. Especially liked the bulgogi bowl and cucumber salad. The fries and chicken were good with the right amount of crunch. Wasn't totally sold on the curry flavor but it was pretty good. Desserts looked awesome but we were too full to try them. Portions were good size for the price and appreciated all the sauces alongside the meals. Would stop here again if I was coming through town.

I was lucky to find this place while scrolling for a good lunch place in Madera, and this is one gem you won't want to miss! The sign outside advertises the place as having Korean & Japanese comfort foods. My friends and I visited in on a Tuesday afternoon, and there was only two other people in the dining room. Upon walking in, we were met with kind service in a timely manner, and the worker offered to answer any questions that may arise. They also have Hot-N-Ready meals such a chicken with sticky rice next to the register if you're looking for a quick meal to-go. The main dish that drew me to this restaurant was their chicken katsu sando. I haven't heard of any other places in the area with something like that, and it did not disappoint The toast of the chicken katsu sando is wonderfully crunchy and pairs nicely with the cucumber salad. It also comes with a side of spicy kewpie mayo, but it's definitely drenched in enough of the katsu & teriyaki sauces on its own. If you're just in the mood for a light lunch, I would definitely recommend splitting the sandwich with someone else, as it comes in a pretty big portion. We also tried the Biscoff croffle, a delicate combination of two of the best pastries. They make the croffles fresh in store, so you can expect a warm, cozy treat that exudes Biscoff goodness. Overall, we left this establishment with full bellies (and happy souls!) :)

Yelp to the rescue once again! Had thought about checking Kanojo out in a previous trip but didn't make it, a colleague did and liked it. So decided to go for lunch. One word- delicious! I opted to get one of the specials - beef bulgogi ($12.99). The meat was nice and tender. It came with two dumplings and some kimchi all atop rice. It was a great price and portion size was really good. I would definitely go back.

Ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl. It came with rice, chicken, and 2 gyozas. The chicken was very dry. There was lots of sauce on the food but still very dry. I wouldn't recommend. The gyoza was good though.

Food was delicious! Elote style Korean dog has great flavor! We also ordered a teriyaki chicken bowl & a katsu bowl to go. The Oreo croffle was my favorite over the Reese's. But I'm not a big fan of peanut butter.

Food is good. I'd go back for the Egg Sando; it had a savory taste to it and was unique. They don't skimp on the filling, and the bread was buttery and toasted just right. The spicy mayo sauce complimented the egg very well. Also had the katsu chicken sando, wish there was more sauce in it, but overall, good. It had a decent size piece of chicken in it. The Corn Cheese Fritters were good too if you're into that kind of thing. You could customize the sauce you want drizzled on it; it comes with spicy mayo..I should've added something sweet like sweet chili sauce as well! Small seating area, good for 2-3 people. I took my order to-go. Food came out rather quickly: 15 minutes. Not too bad. Overall if I'm in the area, I'd check them out again just for the egg sando alone!

Off the hook, Madera! It is outstanding. I've never eaten food like this. They call them K-dogs. You pick a batter and a filling. They look like corn dogs. If you like district fair food...omg... This is the place for you. I felt like I was in deep fried heaven. I got the one full of mozzarella and it was like a giant cheese stick. The batter/coating is the bomb. I got the original sugar batter. Their spicy mayo is perfect with this. My friend got the elote one. We also ordered their fries and dumplings (goyza). Every single thing was outrageously yummy. I've been looking for food and fries like this for years!!! You've got to try them!! #fatteningfun #DeliciousEats

4/20/24 Getting lunch! Chicken Katsu Sando ordered. The worker was Great and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I went in to get it. Greeted upon entering. Cute little restaurant with nice music playing. Order was ready. Paid for it and the workers were kind. Happy to bag it and hand it over. Lunchtime! Sandwich split. Perfect size to split! My half was Really Delicious & nice change from the normal! Great sauce with the fresh cucumber and everything else in it! Tasty!! Mother said her half was Great too! Great service & Great Chicken Katsu Sando! Highly recommended!

Great food! Japanese comfort food is the best way to describe the food here. I ordered corn fritters (amazing!!) waffle fries and ramen noodles corn dog with a hot link instead of hot dog inside. Really makes the different!! Great food and fast service. The staff even shot a video of my food as they gave it to me. This is a must try if you are in the area. I recommend going back to this place.

Whether you're craving sushi, teriyaki, or ramen, they really have something for everyone. The sushi and sashimi are incredibly fresh -- honestly some of the freshest fish we've had at any sushi restaurant. It tastes like the chef went out and caught it that morning. The 14-piece sashimi platter with a couple of rolls was more than enough for two people, and everything was excellent quality. The ramen is also fantastic, but fair warning: the bowls are HUGE, so definitely come hungry. Their garlic edamame is absolutely addictive, and we really enjoyed the poke in the seaweed poke salad, though the dish does lean very heavily on the seaweed, so just keep that in mind before ordering. The moment we walked in and sat down to our table, we did't feel welcomed. Our server was very short with us and seemed annoyed. Initially, they were pushy on having us order assuming we have been there before. It was our first time and we didn't even get a chance to look at the menu yet as we just sat down. Throughout the service, our server never offered us water or came to check up on us. It was an off vibe like they were having a bad day and it resonated to us. The food was a big letdown. We ordered the agedashi tofu, earthquake roll, big boy, fireball roll, and a sashimi appetizer. Each item we ordered had an issue. The agedashi tofu was super bland and the broth didn't pair well with it. I've had this dish several times at other locations and this wasn't up to par. The rolls were drowning in sauce and ruined their texture. The rice was also overcooked and very soggy. Soggy rice drowning in sauce is not a good combination. Lastly, the sashimi appetizer was served lukewarm. Each piece of fish had a mushy texture instead of being firm, and it didn't taste fresh. Perhaps serving them on top of ice to keep it cold would help. Plus, the miso soup was very salty. Overall, it was a very disappointing first visit, and unfortunately, I don't see myself coming back.

After moving out here, I finally gave this Milpitas spot a shot--and wow... this pho smacked me right back to childhood. I ordered my usual pho tai, large bowl, plus extra noodles because I believe in abundance. The noodles were fresh fresh--I can tell because when I spread them apart, they don't clump together like they've been napping in the pot all day. These noodles were awake, alert, and being stirred. Respect. The broth? Dangerous. Comforting. Spiritual. I finished the entire bowl like I was personally challenged by the chef. Cold weather + this broth = therapy. Service: I called ahead because I'm polite and didn't want to be that person showing up an hour before closing. They were super kind and said it was totally fine. You order and pay up front, which I loved--sat down and 10 minutes later my pho showed up like it knew I was hungry. Pro tip: speak up when ordering drinks--they forgot my soda, but honestly... the pho was so good I forgot I even wanted one. Ambiance: Plenty of seating, nicely spaced, and the place is CLEAN clean. The second someone leaves, the table is wiped down like it owes them money. Cleanliness is next to godliness, and this place is clearly blessed. Final Thoughts: I do wish they stayed open past 9, but that's my only complaint. Honestly, I'm kind of glad it's not as packed as it should be--more room for me to sit, sip, and slurp in peace.
