Had an emergency on a Saturday night and he quickly called and gave me a quick-fix over the phone. Monday morning he and his assistant (woman) came to install the light I originally messed up trying to do myself. As a woman living alone, it was such an invaluable surprise and comfort to have another woman present during the repair and they were both so kind, competent, and efficient. I will definitely be using them in the future and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend their services. read more

My GFCI outlet used for deep freezer keeps tripping in garage. I reset the breaker, reset the outlet button ...it comes on for a few seconds and trips from the outlet again. This started happening after the power outage in Ewa a week or two ago. He came with him and his female partner, quickly assessed what the issue was, and fixed it in less than 15 minutes! He even recommended installing a surge protector for all the outlets in the house to prevent this from happening again. Professional, polite, and great service! read more

Excellent, thorough service. I contacted Kannon Electrical Services about a faulty outdoor outlet, and Keone arrived the same day right on schedule. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue, and also suggested adding a protective cover for the outlet--something I hadn't considered, but a great idea for weather protection. I'm very pleased with the prompt, professional, and reasonably priced service, especially since everything was handled on a Sunday morning. I look forward to working with Kannon Electrical Services again. read more

My family and I could not be happier with Keoni @ Kannon Electrical. We have had several electricians over the years in the various states we lived in. Keoni is such a thorough expert. He took so much time checking everything and then took more care to work up his estimate. We felt so confident that he would do a great job for us. Which he exceeded our expectations when looking for an electrician. He responded promptly and was able to start the job right away in our schedule. We purchased a hot tub and needed it hard wired into the panel with a new junction box. The hot tub was a ways away from the panel box in the back of the house but that no problem for him. We highly recommend Kannon Electrical. You won't be disappointed. But be kind to him, because he is really nice:) read more

I needed an old fan replaced. Knew nothing about what to get. Keone got hold of me and gave me good advice and tips. He gave me a decent price, came on time with his assistant & despite the complexities (slanted ceiling-bigger lower fan, bed too heavy to move, weird wires, etc), had it hooked up quickly & it's been running smoothly ever since. They cleaned up very well too. I love his suggestions-our room is so much cooler now. Oh & even after he left & I had some confusion on how to use the control (he did show me), I called him & he patiently walked me thru it again. I'd definitely would use Kannon for any of my electrical again. read more

Keoni was a lifesaver!! Originally called AA Electric through Home Select Warranty but they were rude and actually hung up on me and the representative. Home Select told me to call a reputable electrician on my own and a referral from Vickie Williams my property manager told me to call Keoni. Keoni literally squeezed me into his schedule and was very thorough and made sure everything was good to go with my bad breaker and ceiling fan. It basically crippled 2 rooms in my house until he was able to fix it. I highly recommend his company!! read more

I had an emergency at my house and called Kannon Electrical to see if by any chance they could come out that evening as I was leaving for a trip the next morning. He was there in under an hour and thoroughly inspected everything and found the source of my issue. I've also since had him come out to install new breakers and to check for other issues. He is so great and easy to work with. I highly recommend! One of the best contractors I've worked with. read more

We called and they came first thing the day after my call. The problem was some defective circuit breakers in my electric panel. The wok was done quickly and the charge was reasonable. On previous occasions, They helped me out with electrical work with an organization I am involved with at an extremely reasonable cost. I recommend them highly. Tay Perry read more

We requested a visit for outlets with no power. He responded immediately and asked availability. He was able to work us in same day. He let us know when he was coming by, found our apartment in a multi unit complex, and was super friendly the whole time. He fixed our issue and explained how everything worked and what he was doing. Very helpful, reasonable, and responsive. read more

My parents needed an electrician to fix the circuit issues when we turned on AC's in three rooms their house at the same time. They said they would be here at 7 and they were on time! There were three guys that came. Keone and his two helpers. They were so professional and took the time to check out everything. They went into our attic and added some dedicated circuits for the ac's. They also noticed a separate issue in that the people who installed our split ac system years ago did a bum job (or just took the easy route) and fixed the wiring so that our house wouldn't eventually burn down from it over heating. They took about three hours to complete the work. Which was fast.. and the great part was, the total came out less than what was quoted! We're thinking... that cant be right. Even with the other thing they helped us with? Yup, Keone said it was less than what was estimated at an earlier. C'mon that was so honest. Of course when they look at yelp they just look oh good reviews, when I look, I look at how many people reviewed. This is a case where we were so lucky to find this company. If you need an electrician this is the way to go! Highly recommend Keone and the guys at Kannon Electrical Service llc. read more

Took the day off to repair the switch on my range. Since the repair was scheduled for the morning, thought I could get some baking done in the afternoon. After the repair was done, found out that the outlet was loose (the plug was not secure). Figured no way I could find an electrician to come on the same day (another day off). Called Kannon Electrical and was surprised when he said he could be here in 2 hours. There was hope that I could make dinner and bake. Sure enough, 2 hours later he was fixing the outlet. The price was reasonable, the work was fast (had all the parts with him) and fixed the problem. I could use my range to make dinner. I would highly recommend. So pleasant and professional (took the time to explain everything). Support this local business. read more

Having Kannon Electrical out to my house to help me with my electrical problems was hands down the worst experience I've had while owning my home. When I called they told me it would be $100 service fee to have them come out, and I figured that was fair. When the electrician showed up he told me that he couldn't touch anything without doing an inspection first, and that was going to cost me $1,000. Reluctantly I agreed, because I was told that once the inspection was done I would be good to go. Well it turns out that was another lie! Once the inspection was done the electricIan handed me a quote for over $45,000 to rewire the house. when I asked what my options were the guy made me feel like I was a bad person if I didn't just do what he recommended. FYI, I had another electrician come out and the work is now done, the total cost was under $14k. I highly recommend avoiding kannon electric! read more

Keoni is a super nice, decent guy, someone you can trust. He came right on time for estimate, and came right on time to do the job. He did electrical part for the installation of our split air conditioning unit. His price can't be beat! Very honest, will not rip you off with excessive cost. Unbelievable! We were so lucky to have had him. He did an excellent job, and did it so neatly. Really good job. He works with Palani of Standard Air, who is equally nice, fair, and efficient. Very happy with their services! read more

Keoni was amazingly helpful (on a Sunday) and quick (in Waianae Valley) and efficient (modest price and fixed the problem). He helped our family understand what we needed to do to avoid any electrical hazards. He also went to Home Depot to buy the part needed to change out the damaged breaker (saving us time and money). Super quick. Super professional. Definitely recommend Kannon Electrical Services. read more

Prompt response. Excellent service and very helpful and explained everything being done. Definitely will use again.

After moving in to our new home, we started experience sporadic lighting, outlet, and general electrical issues. We were concerned with what was causing the problem, and even with my past experience as an electrician, I had an idea of what was going on, but no longer had the tools to properly diagnose the issue. I found Kannon Electricial Services on the Nextdoor App through a referral from one of our neighbors (THANK YOU!). I called, and Keone responded quickly. He had an extremely busy schedule, but expedited his visit to my residence. He made us the first stop of his day, and quickly and efficiently diagnosed and isolated the issue. Not only did he do that, but he was able to effectively communicate what was going on, and even someone with a non-electrical background could understand. He also pointed us in the right direction for finding the part we needed, and let us know that they are extremely difficult to find, and may need to have it shipped from the mainland. Luckily enough, we found the last breaker available at Home Depot. It was pricey, but it was exactly what we needed to fix the issue. After letting Keone know we acquired the part, he again exceeded expectations, and fit us in his schedule. He came late in the afternoon after his weekend workday, and fixed our problem. He also had me verify that all of our lighting, and electrical issues were resolved prior to leaving including taking a look at the electrical for our water heater. I sincerely appreciate his professionalism, and knowledge in his craft. He's an expert in his trade, and I will be hanging on to his business card for future work.
