Through the years, we have always called early in the season for our routine twice yearly maintenance checks. We request certain techs who have come to our home several times, and who we especially trust (Joe, Chris, and some others). IF they are not available due to their busy schedules, we have been allowed to wait until they are available to service our system. We would recommend this company. We were first introduced to Applegate at the MSU Home and Garden Show years ago. The Representatives there seemed truthful about the Company. We have found that to be the case.

A couple of years ago I fell on hard times and it was COLD... My furnace was getting old and the fix wasn't cheap, I couldn't afford it. They stayed and refused to leave me and the boys in the cold even if it took me time to pay for it. I was VERY stubborn and they told me it was ok to let someone help me... that's something that I have never forgotten. That's genuine. Last week Don and Chase came out and installed a new furnace. I had no mechanical parts problems before he arrived but just needed coolant. After he finished putting in coolant he suddenly told me my Furnace drip pan was cracked and needed a new part but had to order it. Before he arrived I never heard water dripping and then suddenly when he was finished with the maintenance I had this dripping noise from my furnace and he left with the air conditioning running and when I came home from work I had water all over my floor where the furnace was and turned off the air conditioning. He sent me a invoice for a $700 repair but never told me what was actually needed and he didn't turn off the air conditioning when he left knowing the dripping water would cause damage to my furnace.

He red tagged our furnace and shut off the gas line. The next day we had another furnace inspection by a different company (while we were working on getting quotes for a new furnace) and we were told there was absolutely nothing wrong with our existing g furnace and that Vredevoogd uses this scheme to sell furnaces. Do not use this company.

Seth and his company worked with me, took time out of their personal schedules to help me and went far above and beyond what a normal company does. What I was impressed with most was their integrity, and it was obvious that they care more about people than they do about the bottom line. I will certainly recommend them to anyone who needs drain work. I contacted these guys to clear the drain on an old house I just bought. The technician, Devon, was efficient, knowledgeable, and willing to call his boss when things got a little complicated. I really respected that.
