We started off with the scallops and spinach cheese dip which were good, nothing special. We also ordered the charcuterie board which was a HUGE disappointment. It was $45 and had a few cheap store bought crackers, 8 blueberries and some salami and cheese, really confused at why the price was so high for only a few low grade options... there were 4 of us and barely enough for each of us to have one cracker. This is where everything went downhill from here. For entrees our table ordered the short rib, chicken piccata, and elk. The short rib was tender but lacked flavor. The forbidden black rice was flavorless mush, couldn't even eat it. The chicken piccata was watery and soup like. The pasta had no flavor and the chicken was soggy from sitting in the pasta water. The elk was ok, but the barley pine nut whip was flavorless, it needed mashed potatoes to go with the meat. The waitress asked if we liked our meals and we told her that we did not. That's where the conversation ended. Apparently management doesn't care how the food is coming out? Not sure but we spent over $300 and will definitely not be back. I'm glad we tried it before we brought out of town guests here. If you like flavorless food then this is your spot.

Sometimes we get a craving. Nothing else will suffice. For me, that was Chicken Wings. HOT Chicken…read moreWings. I wanted the heat, the burn. So I stopped here for wings. The cashier was nice enough. I ordered 10 wings. I was asked what type sauce would I want on my wings. I replied, "The hottest you have, " a smile flashing across my face. Within a few minutes, my order was ready. I asked what type of pepper did they use. She didn't understand. So I asked, what type of hot sauce was it. She said they make themselves in back. She didn't know. Didn't know? Sheesh! Ok. I thanked her and walked out. My mouth began to water in anticipation. Anticipation to feel the heat. Oh boy! I bit into the first wing. WHAT??? TABASCO sauce? But they make it themselves, she said. It had to be Tabasco (with an insanely amount of salt). Tabasco is like one step up from ground pepper, drowned in vinegar. Tabasco sauce is listed as hot, only because the people who rate the peppers have a soft spot (plus alot of people were crying, "That's not fair! We wanna be included!") At least the wings themselves were crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. Still, I really was looking for some heat. This brought the score up to a three.

I ordered the 10piece Teriyaki Lemon Pepper wings. No sides…read more It was more than $1/ wing. It didn't take long for them to return with my order. About 5 minutes. Appearance: 10 small wings. A mix of flats and drums. At first glance, they looked like they were only seasoned with Lemon Pepper. But there was a light coat of teriyaki on them Temperature: Taste/Flavor: The lemon pepper didn't overpower the teriyaki, but I could have gone for more teriyaki sauce, in general. The wings weren't overfried and they weren't 'burn your mouth' hot. They don't do call ahead orders, so I don't know how well they'll do with larger orders. They also have seafood dishes. I'll probably visit
