I have lived in the eastern suburbs of Cleveland for 6 years and have NEVER been to Grum's Sub…read moreShop, a beloved local institution, until a blustery November day when my ADHD brain refused to let me move on with my day until I ate a sandwich. After a brief glance at the menu (and picking up a gummy worm flavored diet mountain dew from their vending machine...), I ordered their Grum Sandwich (7" for $8) without peppers and swapped out the oil for stadium mustard as well as an order of their plain "grumizza" to indulge in for dinner. It was only $2.75!!! How can I resist that?? I am not exaggerating when I say that I would die for this sandwich and I don't know if it was my obsessive ADHD brain talking or not, but it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. There was sooooo much meat on there, the spice mix was amazing, and the bread.... woweeee wow, so soft and fluffy and oh my god delicious. AND IT WAS ONLY 8 DOLLARS. The grumizza made for a great dinner as well. Using the same bread as the sandwiches, they loaded it up with sauce, ooey gooey cheese, and that spice mix I love so much. I hit my carb quota for a week in just one day but my god, was it worth it! I should also mention the place was packed and the diligent staff worked very hard to keep up with all the orders and they did a great job! My only suggestion is adding the ability to provide customers with a glass of water. I DEFINITELY will be back!!!

I've had this place numerous times. Very quick and simple subs. Not many sides and vending machine…read moresoda. Has both hot and cold choices. They are know for the "Grumsteer" but all the subs I've had have been delicious. Filled to the brim with meat and dressings. $8 for a half and $16 for a full. Turkey sub is great as is the Roast Beef. I will continue to eat here. It is busy and has limited hours. 8.3 out of 10.

I was going to get one but it was very hard. No rice pudding today sadly. The chocolate chip caramel cookie was kinda sorta soft and flavorful. Overall meh, better as a little boujie grocery with various beers and dry grains/beans. No sign outside/above so very easy to miss!

Dominik's Deli is a deli/market located in the lively Lee Rd district (DORA) of Cleveland Heights…read more The deli is famous for their pizza, subs, homemade ice cream and Italian ice. You can also find grains, cases with dessert, and beer inside. The deli is extremely tidy. Various dining options exist - inside at a table (one table available) or outside/patio (two tables available). Service here is always top notch, genuinely nice people, and very quick service. Prices are comparable to prices at any other metropolitan spot. I'm obsessed with their Papa sub. It has prosciutto de Parma, Brie, wild arugula, local honey, and toasted pistachio. It tastes like eating a tasty charcuterie, so fresh and delish. Another favorite is rice pudding. It's so gooey and tasty. Every sub I tried here tastes extremely fresh and has quality ingredients. The bread, the meat, and the ingredients. Consistently delicious. It's a quality you'd expect at a restaurant, not a deli. Parking can be found on the other side of Lee Rd (municipal lot) or street parking in the area. If you'll enjoy this experience, the owner also owns Zina and Chicken Ranch in the next city over.

I stopped in at this Jersey Mike's Subs on my way from hiking. I was initially craving something…read morehealthy but detoured to Jersey Mike's. I wanted something quick, and the other businesses in the area are usually high traffic. This was my first time at this Jersey Mike's Subs. Based on the meal quality, I won't be visiting anytime soon. ATMOSPHERE: Casual sub shop with wood decor and comfortable seating. There are plenty of tables and high tops suitable for group lunch. I observed that most guests were picking up to go orders. FOOD: I selected #17, Mike's Famous Philly ($10.25). It was confidently the worst Philly cheesesteak I've ever experienced. The meat was extremely dry and salty, tasted like pre-packaged cheap meat. The mayo had some gross flavor, there was too much of it. Onions tasted sour. I couldn't even 1/3 of this sub, it was so bad and had so many conflicting flavors. The only good thing was the bread, pretty fresh. I would never get it again. It was an unfortunate choice. The food assembly line wasn't clean. The ingredients were intermingling and the counter was unkempt. Think twice if you have any allergies. SERVICE: Service wasn't the best but it was also the end of the day. The employee who was making my sub suddenly disappeared mid sandwich making. Another worker took over my sub. The employees tried to be friendly to customers upon entrance and exit. Still transactions were too slow. I'm pretty disappointed in the sub - Mike's Famous Philly. Philly is always so tasty at other places, I'm surprised it's not the case here. I won't be stopping in again.

Service at this store is great. Had an order stolen by a door dash driver before a team meeting…read more I did not know that before coming to the location. When I asked if they could help me with the order they asked if I was Ben and they felt bad the order was taken. They could see I was stressed not due to that but other business stuff. They went to work getting my teams order in...while a lot of others came in for lunch. One of my jobs is helping with people and systems. The team that worked here was on point. Kind, even in stressful situations. They ran with a precision that I have taken from one place and put in another with good success and got more credit than I deserved as the elements of great team work were already there. How they split up tasks and worked around each other was excellent. I could place them at a non food place and they would rock it there as well. Great staff. Good light and other convenient things nearby, making it a great and easy location to grab some lunch! Really thankful to the kind and great staff that work there. Impressed with how good they do their jobs.
