What a gem. We had a chicken parm sandwich and a meatball parm sandwich. They were outstanding. My…read morewife had the chicken parm and I the meatball parm, the sauce was delicious. The called the sauce Grandma T's sauce. The guys were so kind. The vibe of the deli was like my neighborhood spot. If I lived close to Little Italy of Cleveland, I'd be there at least 2 times a week. Great job guys. I'm sorry I forgot got your names.

A small grocery store with a great sandwich shop!…read more I ordered the meatball sub ($12.95), zucchini pancake ($4.50), and a bowl of the soup of the day, which was lemon artichoke chicken soup ($6.75). The soup came out HOT. I did burn my tongue a bit on the first sip. But the soup was delicious and reminded me of a good chicken noodle soup minus the noodles and plus a little tartness from the lemon. It was filled with chunks of chicken, artichoke, carrots, and potatoes. The zucchini pancake was great as well. I had it heated up, and it was nicely crispy on the outside. It was served with marinara, but the pancake was flavorful enough on its own. However, the star of the show was the meatball sub, which came with hand-rolled meatballs, melted provolone, and red sauce. The meatballs were scrumptious, and oh my God, the bread was amazing. A perfect crisp exterior while being soft on the inside. I would have been happy having the bread by itself. The service was a tad on the slow side. It did take a bit for me to be acknowledged and greeted, and I might have walked out if I ended up waiting another minute. Limited indoor and outdoor seating.

Thanks to Too Good To Go (and my love of desserts!), I finally got around to trying Honeybirch…read moreBakehouse a few weeks ago, a "new-ish" bakery on the other side of Cleveland Heights from my house. For a discounted price of about $9, I came home with 4 delicious baked goods and a mini baguette about an hour before they closed for the day. Note: $9 is way less than what you will normally pay for these 5 items. They average around $4 each. I got a savory scone, a massive cookie, a mini baguette, an apple muffin, and a huge cinnamon roll. I ate the cinnamon roll nearly right away once I got home. The cinnamon roll with cream cheese ($6) was SOOOOO moist and decadent! I warmed it up for a few seconds and then enjoyed one of the best cinnamon roll I have ever had. The vanilla and cinnamon were very prominent. Definitely a calorie bomb though. I shared the other sweet treats with my sister the next day and we agreed that the next best item was the muffin. I should also mention that the staff member that helped me that afternoon was very nice and most likely the owner. He was very helpful in explaining what each item I got in my box was and also in helping me decide on a gift for a friend I was about to see soon. I bought my friend a box of locally made teas for about $14 and she loved them! I definitely hope to come back here soon (once I have worked off the pounds from this most recent visit haha)!

Sande (who is hearing impaired) was having a hard time hearing what I was saying because the music was really loud. It was Jimi Hendrix so at least they had good taste but when I had to repeat my order several times, the employees should have taken a cue that the music was too loud. None of the sandwiches or entrees on the board had prices which I found to be odd... We ordered soup, lasagna slice and stromboli (all of which were pre-made/packaged). They asked twice if we wanted the items heated and we said no twice in return. 15 minutes later, we were still awaiting our order even though were were only 4 patrons in the store the entire time we were there. What was taking so long to put 3, pre-made packaged items in containers and into a bag? Finally I went up to the counter and asked what was taking so long and they said they were still getting things ready (which was a bad sign). Sure enough, when we got the food, they had heated the lasagna and stromboli which was useless because by the time we got back home, it had to be reheated. The stromboli was pretty good. 3.5 stars out of 5 but the lasagna was awful. Not cheesy, almost no sauce and just dry and uninteresting, 1 star. The split pea soup was incredibly salty, 2.5 stars. Overall i'd give them 1 star and we won't be returning.
