Unfortunately, it was more than they could work on. Didn't have parts or the tools. After calling at least 5 or 6 other mechanics from Livingston to Bozeman, from dealerships to private mechanics, we finally found Chris at Northwest. We had verbal quotes all over the place and scheduling was July, September and maybe we can fit you in. My husband had called our mechanic in Florida so we knew what it should cost. We needed a new cam and follower. Apparently, this is s common problem on Jeeps with 100,000 miles. We dropped the Jeep off on a Friday with an appointment on the following Friday. We also had a written quote, (not verbal). It was risky to keep driving it so we thought it was better just to leave it at Northwest. Chris said if there was a cancellation then he would work on the Jeep. On Tuesday morning by husband received an email invoice. The Jeep was repaired, ready for pick up and within to quote. We are so thankful that there are still honest, reasonable and reliable mechanics out there. There's so much more to this nightmare, but thanks to Northwest the Jeep is back to exploring.

Few months later, I felt it was not enough power, brought it in to install the amp, and now it's perfect for what I needed. I wasn't informed that if I changed to have a CD player it needed to be tethered to have Apple CarPlay. They willingly swapped out the unit for just Bluetooth and backup camera. However on my drive back to Washington several of the speakers in the car didn't work. Marty told me that I needed to change out some speakers however the driver side door speaker is intermittent. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Unfortunately I'm 500 miles away so I can't take it back. I'm very disappointed. The rule is make sure everything works before you leave. And test it multiple times.

My Cadillac Escalade IQ developed a problem with its hood latch that made it unsafe to drive. We were supposed to leave that same day for a 1,400-mile trip home with our entire family and our giant dogs, but the only dealership equipped to service the vehicle told us it would be at least a week before they could even evaluate it. While arranging to have the Escalade towed to the dealership, I explained the situation to Dirk, the owner of Done Right Towing. Because Dirk is also a mechanic, he generously offered to have his driver bring the vehicle to him first so he could determine whether he could fix the problem and prevent us from being stranded. The tow-truck driver was also incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process, which made an already stressful situation so much easier. Dirk did exactly what he promised: he evaluated the vehicle, fixed the problem, and asked for absolutely nothing in return.
