Her room is very clean, and she sanitizes everything. The last thing you want to do is go to a dirty spot for your face and waxing! She has powerful equipment that she invested into for results for her clients. 2. Jennifer carries high quality products. I was impressed with the wax she carries as I know that brand as well, and the products she used on me for the facial. We did an ultimate anti aging for myself, which included dermaplaning and microneedling. She used numbing cream to make it more comfortable and the serum had actual stem cells in it. 3. She's very talented and personable, with a delicate touch for facials. I felt completely relaxed and comfortable throughout, and she is really easy to talk to. My mother, initially reluctant to get a facial, relaxed quite quickly once she started! I would definitely return on my next trip to Rochester, and have her saved!

The wax was quick and professional, and the ladies have been great to chat with throughout. For my haircut and color, I have been going to Erica and she's wonderful. Very consistent, always listens and will give me other ideas after asking if I'm open to hearing them (her ideas have been better than mine). She asks questions like "if you could change anything about your hair, what would it be?" and then uses that information to give you the perfect cut, style, and advice. I thought that was really thoughtful of her. I've been very pleased with my color and my haircuts over the past few months!! Also, you can't beat the Aveda products!

First I scheduled a trial and my stylist cancelled twice over the span of about a month. At this point it was only two weeks before my wedding and they couldn't fit me in with another "senior stylist" so I went with another random stylist and understood appointment would be free of charge for the inconvenience. However once the trial was done (it took almost 3 hours and still wasn't quite right) I still had to pay 95+ tip as apparently only the hair cut was free (25) and I still was expected to pay for the styling. Then we get to my wedding day and I am supposed to have a senior stylist but was cancelled on a THIRD time the day of my wedding and was only told once I arrived at the salon. The same girl who did my trial did my wedding hair and I didn't complain much because who wants to complain on their wedding day? My bridal party also got their hair done and it was all beautiful but mine took an extra hour compared to my bridal party even though I requested a very very simple style , just curls and a little bit pinned back, and it came out very poorly despite me trying to steer the stylist in the right direction. I had to redo my hair completely afterwards even though I paid over 100 for my hair. I curled it myself and had a wedding guest who happened to do hair help me style it. Took less then 20 minutes and was perfect when we did it ourselves. After the wedding I looked back at the photos they took at the salon and I can't believe they let me walk out like it was! Totally falling out, messy, asymmetrical and bobby-pins showing (Photos from the salon and by the time I got home) About 3 weeks after my wedding when all the celebrations were done we called this salon back to explain what happened and ask for a partial refund or at least something. My mother who called was accused of "extortion" by the owner when she said she was calling before I posted this review... which is an honest review and we wanted to give them a chance to right it before complaining online. Then we were told we should have planned my wedding further out which has nothing to do with them messing up my hair so much. In the end they said they would call us back and it's been 4 days now. Overall really disappointing, This was the most stressful part of my whole wedding. They should have done more to compensate me or at least done my hair well... this was my WEDDING hair for crying out loud.

I live in Virginia now, but whenever I come home I will only go to her salon to get my hair worked on whether it is cut, style, or color. I don't mind driving 7 hours just to get my hair done exactly the way I want it and her prices are amazing. Being in Virginia, the prices for a trim go well over $80+ and for a color depending on length (mine was a little past my shoulders) it would cost around $150+. So to me, it is very reasonable on their prices for the area, the work of perfection, and beyond! I can't say enough good things about this salon. Also, I came home this Memorial Day weekend (5/28/2016)and she was out of the office, but I had the pleasure of having my hair done by Kim. I walked in about four months ago because I was not especially happy with the salon I had been going to in Fairport for the past year. Joyce was lovely, warm, welcoming, and she "got" my hair which is thin and fine and fragile. I looked and felt like movie star Sharon Stone when I left. It was a beautiful blond color that brought out my natural highlights; I wanted a "just got out of bed" tousled, natural look and she gave it to me. Call Joyce if you want to look like a star, because for all we are doing right now for our family and friends and community, we women are stars!

My friend and I made appointments for a couples renewal massage after we both had received gift cards. While the robes and somd of the amenities are nice, the massage was really what I was there to enjoy. I was trying my best to not get upset (45, single mom of twin 2 year olds- I needed this break and massage) it just didn't hit the mark. I told the therapist I'd like it firmer and harder and not light touches and I think she must have thought I said the opposite- soft tickling type of massage and she didn't seem to want that style to change. Maybe she's knew but I have never gone up and down (being raised by her foot control) so many times in my life. Maybe she has back problems? My friend asked me afterwards why she was so loud (like I knew why? lol). Several times washing her hands and then threw the robe on my legs after the massage. Miss the exfoliating scrub at the end! Those were wonderful. While the after treatment room is nice, I'm sad to say, this just was such a disappointment. Hoping to have enough funds to give it another try at some point.
