Ok, the salad was delicious, unfortunately the gyro meat was awful. No flavor, tasted like breading.

Instead of my usual gyro platter I ordered the grilled filet of flounder dinner and I think I discovered my favorite fish dish going forward. Flounder was cooked to perfection: moist, flatly and well seasoned. Served with a vegetable, rice and a side salad. First time trying something either than a gyro or souvlaki and was truly amazed with this dish. Our server Victor was outstanding and always on point. Great Greek restaurant serving the typical and authentic Greek dishes at reasonable prices with an all star staff.

My cousin, who lives in St. James invited a bunch of the family out for a meal. At the time it was about 45 minutes to an hour from where I lived. I thought it was fantastic, but I was disappointed that it was so far away. About 3 1/2 years ago, we moved closer to it and I've been there many times since. Today I grabbed a Gyro to go. However, I have had many great meals there. One of the great things about this restaurant is that they offer chickpea salad and pita bread when you arrive. The salad is fantastic. Somehow this type of service is a lost art? Their entrées are also really good. They have a fantastic egg lemon soup. I would also highly recommend the spanakopita as well as the falafel appetizer . For the main course, I would definitely recommend the mixed grill. If you're like me and I have trouble making up your mind this solves your problem. My wife is not a huge fan of Greek food. But she is a huge fan of burgers. The burgers here are outstanding as well as the fries. Close it out with the baklava and I think you are good to go. Definitely check this place out. It is one of the few places that still serve good quality authentic food with great portions at a reasonable price.

It is now terrible. Big mistake. There are burgers joints everywhere. I went there to pick up a takeout (by the way, the menu has changed. The fried calamari, which was excellent is gone. It was fresh because they included the tentacles which you can't buy in the frozen rings which suck). It's dark inside, and the overwhelming stink of burgers doesn't mix well with the glorious smell of Greek food. Also, I bought the greek wings. Why do you put slimy onions and peppers on top of grilled wings? Totally disgusting. And my wife ordered a chicken sandwich. Dry garbage on a cheap bun. And stop using your old reviews which were good. I was sooo disappointed. Won't be going back.

Perfectly fire grilled and I have to say the seasoning was on point! I dislike when restaurants heavily salt and season their seafood but this right here was perfect! Very fresh & I'm eating healthy tonight! The roasted peppers, the fresh dill, squeeze of lemon and light olive oil! I want to drink the juice in the take out foil! The potatoes are delicious and plentiful. What a great deal for $23! Comes w pita bread and a nice portion tzatziki sauce!! Thank you. And I was told bring your receipt back and they give you 10% off next visit. Okayyyyy!! First time here and plan to go back w some friends and take advantage of the happy hour drinks. Today I happened to be in the area and stopped in for their prix-fixe lunch in the early afternoon, dining by myself. It was, once again, a very pleasant experience. They begin the meal with complimentary warm pita bread served with two spreads, a simple but welcoming start. I ordered the grilled octopus and the branzino, and finished with Greek yogurt for dessert. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and nicely executed. What truly sets this restaurant apart, beyond the beautiful interior and relaxed ambiance, is the warmth of the staff. As soon as I walked in, Stephanie greeted me with a genuine smile and a warm welcome. She has a natural way of making guests feel comfortable right away. My server, Christian, was attentive, friendly, and professional, checking in regularly throughout the meal. In fact, the entire team is consistently courteous and attentive, which always makes dining here especially enjoyable. It was a lovely lunch, and I look forward to returning again whenever I'm in the area.

We…read morearrived at 7 PM to find the restaurant packed for Restaurant Week--something we hadn't expected. The first sign of trouble was the parking situation: we ended up nearly a five‑minute walk away in ten‑degree weather. This would have been the perfect night for valet service. On the positive side, our party of six was seated right away, and our server Josh was friendly and attentive. He let us know we could still order from the Restaurant Week prix fixe menu, which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the timing of the meal derailed the evening. Appetizers took about an hour to arrive, and our entrées didn't come out until another hour after that. By the time we finished eating it was 9:30 PM and we were one of the only diners left. Josh apologized and explained that they typically serve around 250 guests on a normal night, but this evening they had more than 350 diners, which clearly overwhelmed the kitchen. The food itself was good--fresh, flavorful, and well‑portioned--and the prix fixe menu offered solid value. Still, the extended delays made it hard to fully enjoy the meal. Overall, I'm torn. There were positives, but the pacing of the night left me unsure how I feel about returning to Limani Grille

I live 45 minutes away from here and tried it today for the first time because we happen to be in the neighborhood. I guarantee I will be back and probably very soon because it was that good. We had the gyro platter and a chicken sandwich. The meat was so fresh and tasty. The pita was super soft and fresh and the sauce and dressing was super tasty. My platter came with a side salad which was awesome! Everything was so perfect. Super tasty and great portions. I'm a Greek food nut who has tried many places in the city as well as nasssau and Suffolk. This spot is now going to be one of my favorites. I will take the drive for it. The place has plenty of parking, it's super clean and cozy and the girl working the counter and the tables was so sweet and efficient. They were just awful, they were soggy, they were devoid of taste. They were probably the worst meal I've ever had. They were unedible. I called the restaurant to complain that I got bad food and they didn't do anything about it. They explained to me how they were totally fresh and they just made them. And I was nuts, they were promptly tossed in the garbage at a loss of 45 bucks and I won't be back. I was very, very shocked. Because in the past this was my favorite place. The waiters and waitresses are always excellent. The cashiers are ultra friendly. The owners are always very nice. Things are usually excellent. But I got a very bad meal. I was very unhappy and I don't feel they did the right thing by me.
