When you walk in half the time they don't acknowledge your there and with an appointment you'll still sit and wait 30 - 45 min to just get your vehicle inside. (This service was simply a flat repair and took 2 days for an appointment) The waiting area is clean, they have coffee and the customer service reps dress nice. That's about it.. As far as value no difference from competitors. They could learn a ton from Les Schwab in the states on how to run a tire business.

Great guys both of them. New crew now, but I think I saw Marc today - but he didn't recognize me, it's been a few years. But even as an unknown face I get the best service and treatment possible. Usually shoot the breeze about cars for a few minutes as well - they aren't in a hurry to get you out of there - they just want to get the best for those who walk through the doors. After 30 years and six or seven cars I have come to them time and time again. Sometimes for a patch, sometimes to get a set of rubber. Every single time they are great and I'm pretty safety conscious when it comes to the rubber hitting the road. They've patched no end of screw/nail/whatever holes with the intent of getting you going, not the intent of getting your money. Case in point, I got a nail in the tread at the edge of a tire. Not that many kms on the treads and I didn't think that I could make it to B&B so I pulled into big K. They looked at the tire, said that it was impossible to patch as the nail had "likely" gouged the sidewall. But replacing 1 tire was bad practice so I would need all 4 done even though the kms were less than 100,000 on them. This was a late model Volvo SUV so the tires were not cheap and they "likely" saw my wallet and me coming. Well they also saw me going as I gently drove out and over to B&B. The team there pulled the rubber and actually took a look, seeing that the nail had entered at an angle away from the sidewall and a tread patch was all that I needed, so that's what they did. Go to these guys. They are honest, good natured, and do a great job. I really don't know how you could want anything more in any business let alone the ones that keep you safe on the road.

The Toyo's were quoted at over 2700 and the Falkens were 2986 installed. Stephen "Roy" Mitchell the counter guy who says hes the manager said the Falkens are slightly wider but are a really good tire. I said okay I'll go with those ones. He orders them in and later that day on August 11, 26 same day he told me to come back in the afternoon when they showed up he would let me know. He calls me later on around 2pm and said they are here come on in. Cool. The shop installs them. On my way home I hear them rubbing. I call back next day and said come in we,ll take a look. I go in and they realize the tires are rubbing on the mud flaps. He automatically says "ya it's Willowbrook Chryslers fault for putting these mud flaps on". I was slightly turned off by him trying to blame the dealership for the mud flaps. He said we could take them off . I said okay well I guess I don't need them in the front. They took them off and I asked them to thr them out. Well this is not my daily driver so it to me a couple more days to realize they are still rubbing on something else while wheels are completely turned. And I saw where the paint was rubbing off so I called back again. This guy tells me I should go to Lordco, they sell wheel spacers and are easy to do. I thought this is messed up but I did call anyway and they don't sell heavy duty spacers for these trucks. I then started some research and calling different shops and apparently every shop I called (three of them) including other larger tire shops and Willowbrook Chrysler where I bought the truck and every one of them will not install wheel spacers and every one of them advised me not too as it's a one ton truck and I tow a trailer with i. So I once again go back to TIRELAND in Langley on this past Thursday of September 3, 26 and they were about 10 minutes from closing and this Stephen guy blowing me off once again like I'm a piece of garbage. Starts opening a book to give me a phone number for a place that deals with Falken tires and to take the issue up with Falken themselves. I said are you f,n kidding me right now? He says I told you to come back next week. Well what's that have to do with giving me some help here with the oversize tires you sold me here that I paid just under 3000.00 dollars for?? Then this guy says listen I don't pick the tire sizes. I said well I sure as hell don't! What do I know about tires!!! You're the so called professional here! It got very heated and he's telling me to leave. I said you owe me 5 minutes of your time her. then he says he called the cops. I said I don't really care who you called. So I ended up leaving and here I am now trying to figure out how to deal with this. TIRELAND in Langley.

I especially like the car…read moreservice technicians and managers at this specific location because they are like Apple geniuses of KalTire. I appreciate their good customer service oriented attitudes and expert knowledge on tires. Also, I appreciate their honest suggestions and professionalism. Jaime, the senior assistant manager is very knowledgeable and he was very helpful both in person and over the phone. Mike, the technician, was nice and thorough re: checking my tires and brake parts. Bobby is conscientious in keeping me updated with car service info. Free coffee, tea and WiFi available in the waiting area. They seem well stocked in tires inventory and it's helpful that Kaltire labels their display tires with their own independent tire testing results, making it easy for a novice like me to shop for tires. Value - Tho I haven't done price comparison on their tire services with other places, they offer good value for me by having so many locations where you can trace your car service details and tire replacement info in their computer system at any KalTire store. Thus, I would return for convenience in tracking tire replacement and service history details.

I've been going to Kaltire for a while now however at a different location as I moved to Burnaby…read more Was hoping for the same kind of service but this new location wasn't up to par with the other location. I came to switch tires and do alignment service to make sure everything is good when I leave. It took them almost 4 hours because they were overbooked and there was a long queue for the alignment machine. They changed the tires in an hour or so but 3 hrs for the alignment machine is ridiculous. They have the shop music blasting so loud that I could hear it as I arrived for my appointment. They also park a vehicle right at the Boundary Road entrance so it's partially blocking it. Not sure why they park a vehicle there, maybe to control the speed of people coming in. I saw one person needing to back up a little back onto Boundary Road, just to adjust to squeeze through. Not safe since Boundary is a busy road. Best to enter/exit from the Kitchener entrance. When my vehicle was ready, they didn't go over the invoice or alignment sheet. They just handed the invoice and told me the cost. I will go back to the previous location i used to go to, even if it's further away.

Two hours before my appointment I receive a call that the tires didn't come and won't be coming. The truck arrived and no tires. Head office couldn't have cared less. Not the store manager's fault and he was the only one that tried to fix it.

When I returned to pick up my car, I was surprised with a $315 bill with no prior notice or authorization. I had no choice but to pay to get my car back. I've had inspections done at other shops in the area at no charge. This lack of transparency is unacceptable and not in line with BC consumer protection standards. I contacted them directly to resolve the issue and over a week has passed with no response. I've since opened a dispute with my credit card provider. I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share this experience so others don't go through the same situation.

Some a**hole slashed all 4 of my truck tires, so I needed fast and cheap replacements as a stop-gap…read moremeasure. I went in here and every staff member I dealt with (there were a few, front desk and mechanic etc) and all of them were courteous, polite, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. They found me 4 suitable replacements for an extremely good price. They were dead honest about the level of wear being high, and cautioned me accordingly. These tires were absolutely in road-worthy condition, just worn, and I appreciated that they were so conscientious about safety and so on. On top of all that, after I delivered all 4 slashed tires still on the rims, they had them mounted and filled for $20 each and it was done in 40 minutes. These guys are honest, fair, and fast.
