Sean at Kaizen Offroad is very professional and very knowledgeable he installed an ECGS bushing and after the install he noticed missing weighs on my driver side wheel and rebalanced it for me at no charge. He made sure the job was done correctly and showed me after he finished. I don't get anymore vibrations in my Tacoma! Great dude and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an off-roading shop. See you soon for the compressor install!

Sean did an amazing job on my Tacoma. He gave me a great price, that couldn't be beat, and made sure everything was perfect. Price also included alignment, which was very much appreciated. Sean and his coworker also gave me some very good ideas for the future of my build. I would definitely recommend at least contacting him and getting a bid for any off road work you plan on doing to your vehicle. I will definitely be returning to him for the rest of my build.

My truck sitting right outside the shop right after I picked it up.

I went to Kaizen Offroad to get my 2017 Tacoma worked on and I don't have a single negative thing to say. Previously I was looking at going through other shops (who I won't name) but i continuously was met by poor customer service and no sort of passion to help a customer build their truck. When I found Kaizen Offroad I instantly noticed a difference. Sean was the guy who helped over the phone and throughout the entire process. Needless to say Sean is awesome. He's a mechanical engineer and he's very knowledgeable, passionate and willing to work with you. He's fair upfront and honest with quotes and they only charged me $600 bucks for installation of wheels, tires, suspension and a CMC. Compared to other shops trying to get you to spend $1200-1500 on the same service. I could keep writing about how great the experience this was but go find out the rest for yourself. Thanks again!

Sean was awesome! He installed a stage 7 icon kit on my FJ cruiser. Most time it's a 2 day job but my FJ had a previous lift kit that made the job a bit longer. We were both unaware of this when I dropped it off but Sean was so cool and professional about it. It ended up take a few more days cause he wanted to make sure the job got done RIGHT. Had to wait on some parts and he got them for me on HIS store credit at Toyota, and didn't charge me extra. Most people would have just slapped it on and moved on to the next job. Not Sean he made sure it got done right no matter how long it took. And always kept me updated. Would recommend 10/10.

Sean at Kaizen did an amazing job with my bump stop kit on my Colorado! Took his time and made sure everything was perfect! Would highly recommend them to anyone out there who needs some high quality fabrication!

I was patient and gave them plenty of time, but after multiple delays and three separate visits, the issue still wasn't properly resolved. When I questioned them, I was told the "top seal wasn't changed" the first time. That's hard to understand--if the engine was already apart, why weren't all necessary components replaced during the original repair? That's what I paid for. After finally getting the car back, it started leaking again almost immediately, and they kept it for another month. Throughout the process, there were constant excuses instead of clear accountability. On top of that, the car was returned to me with new issues that weren't there before. The starter was installed without proper shimming, causing a loud grinding noise on startup. The ignition tumbler was also damaged--when I brought it up, I was told it was "just dirty," which doesn't make sense since it worked fine before. Now, after the third time picking up my car, I'm still dealing with problems. The handle for my roll-up window was glued on for some reason, and the transmission linkage/cable was not properly adjusted. On the drive home, the car was shifting hard from 1st to 2nd gear, which was not an issue before. Overall, this shop repeatedly returned my vehicle not fully repaired, introduced new problems, and insisted everything was "normal." After multiple chances, I've completely lost confidence in their work. I will not be returning and would strongly recommend others proceed with caution.

I came in here after asking for feelers from friends for a solid auto mechanic and heard great things about Eddie and the team. They did not disappoint. I recently did the full brakes on my wife's '16 Corolla (she swears by them and refuses to move to a luxury vehicle no matter how hard I push) and took it to a local shop in Aliso Viejo for a quick brake bleed. The shop acted like a dealership and gave me a laundry list of things to be done, at dealership prices. Some of the items I had just done myself but they didn't know. I decided I did want to replace the Corollas lower control arms that the pricier shop quoted me out on, as I knew from noises and some wild driving in Mexican wine country that we had put it through the wringer and made sense. But not at the more expensive shops prices. Eddie at Certified Japanese Auto Repair greeted me happily, let me bs about random car stuff, chatted me up and quoted a great price (2/3 of what I was quoted elsewhere) for the parts and labor. I would like to assume it was a respectable price for them, and for me. I immediately handed the keys over and they gave me a call to let me know they had it done next day. 10/10 would recommend to my friends and family and will plan to service my cars here in the future when I can't do the work, my back hurts or I do the work and break something

He made me feel reassured that my vehicle was safe to drive until I could get the part ordered and fixed. From the moment I walked in Eddie was honest, calm and reassuring. He scheduled an inspection for my car and explained everything clearly and confirmed that my car was safe to drive which immediately put me at ease. The level of integrity and transparency he showed is something you don't see often in auto repair. Especially as a woman you hear about the opposite. Not only did Eddie give me a fair and reasonable price but the work was completed quickly and professionally. What Honda quoted as a 35 hour job and thousands of dollars, Eddie and his team handled in just a few hours for a fraction of the cost. The difference in service was night and day. If you're looking for a trustworthy and straightforward and genuinely caring automotive service. I highly recommend Japanese Auto Repair and especially Eddie. Eddie was extremely knowledgeable and communicated with me through out the process. From scheduling my car to get inspected to reaching out when the parts arrived for my car to scheduling my appointment to fix my vehicle. Even reached out to let me know another part arrived and scheduled my next visit. This is a small shop so making an appointment and being patient and not rushing the service team is important.
