The Business: I think this place is new, but I was able to find a Fan Page on Facebook, and it allowed me to find their information. Located in Renton?? It's so close to home! (well, closer than Seattle is). I felt bad because during MC5, this place had steady customers, though no where near the line that El Camion had (which was right next door). However, being that TBB hasn't earned its place in the hearts of mobile food stand lovers yet, I see why some people might be skeptical to try it. The Food: DELICIOUS. I ordered the coconut chicken slider and had a bite of the kobe beef slider. The coconut chicken was scrumptious! The chicken was breaded and so crispy on the outside and the meat was perfectly cooked and tender on the inside. It felt like I was biting into a fish sandwich (well, almost). The coconut was sweet and delectable. The kobe beef sliders were tasty as well. The aioli it was coated with had a nice spice profile. Both of these little sliders packed a punch of flavor! The Joe's Special burger consists of a Kobe patty, bacon, Cambozola cheese, roma tomato, chipotle BBQ sauce, garlic aioli. Despite the list of mouth watering ingredients, we were all left hungry and not satisfied. Not to mention that we threw away maybe half the tater tots because they were so greasy that it made us feel sick. All in all, none of us had a good experience, therefore none of us will be lining up the next time the truck comes around.... I've been looking for a meal prep place to help cut down on the amount of cooking I have to do and, since I don't eat fast food, I luckily came across COPOW!!! Aside from CAPWOW being fun to say, the food is great! Huge selection of healthy meals (fully labeled with nutrition information, organic ingredients, no seed oils or ingredients you have to sound out to pronounce) that mostly just need to be heated up (some meals you can eat cold). CAPOW!!! The meals all have super high quality packaging, are proportioned well, have high quality ingredients, great taste, good variety and, while a little pricey, are justified in their price due to the ease to make and high quality ingredients that are used. CAPOW!!! This is a professional, clean, well run establishment. Before finding them, I tried using one of their competitors. The competitors food was not the best, the person stationed at the counter would stare at me while I shopped and say things, seemingly to themself out loud, like "I wonder how many meals they'll buy..." while creepily staring at me. I would nervously laugh and pretend those remarks didn't happen. And apparently, that competitors business hours were hypothetical since they would be closed sporadically when I'd stop by during normal business hours. COPOW absolutely COPOWS businesses like what I just drecribed and is now my go to meal prep store in the area. Thank you COPOW for existing and keep doing what you're doing. I'm one of your biggest fans. For busy days when I don't have time to meal prep, CAPOW has me covered.

And the gluten-free funnel cake was so freakin' good! Golden and crispy with powdered sugar, but somehow light and airy inside. It tasted just like the funnel cakes from a fair or carnival. We couldn't finish it all, so we happily brought the rest home. The portions were great, the prices were absolutely worth it, and the owner was so kind and delightful even though he was incredibly busy. His food honestly makes me wonder why every restaurant doesn't cook this way. It's safe for those of us who need to eat gluten-free, yet nothing about it feels like a compromise. People who don't need to eat gluten-free would never know the difference.
