We also love the almond chicken and the lo-main noodles -- both are always delicious and consistently good. Another thing I really appreciate is that when we order to go, the food is always packaged well and never spills out of the containers. and I prefer the box instead of the back so that comes really handy. The restaurant is always clean and well put together, which makes the whole experience even better. Great food, great portions, and a welcoming place we definitely recommend! Great job guys... :)

The broccoli beef was $18 before tax. The takeout order came with a light broth egg, pea soup and rice. The egg pea soup was good, light and fragrant. The rice was somehow bland and old. The broccoli beef was disappointing in every way! As the name implies, the dish should have beef and broccoli only. This dish came with everything, mushrooms, carrots, onions, beef and broccoli. The seasoning was bland and watered down, from the extra veggies. The portion for $18 and less broccoli and beef was depressing. The bowl was the same size as my small hand. The mango green tea was fair. I wasn't asked about my sugar preference. The tea was sweet, but still good. The boba was chewy and slightly sweet, super happy it wasn't tasteless and firm. I wouldn't come back for broccoli beef. I might come back to try something else. The prices were high for the quality and portions.

The interior esthetics is nice, cozy and welcoming. We weren't really hungry so we decided to share the Chicken Penang curry $19.00 and Pad Se Ew with beef $19.00. We also order Thai iced tea $4.00 which was on point, not too sweet. We both liked the Chicken Penang. The Pad Se Ew seemed a bit little off. The service was great. During this time, I thought that the food prices were pretty high.

The ambiance was cozy and perfect for a chilly spring day. Our server was very friendly, but because there were a few tables and just one server, service was a bit slow. Once we ordered our food it arrived quickly, however. Last year, I ordered the Pad Prik King with beef, which my fiance tried and liked it so much that he insisted we come back during our next trip to Spokane. He ordered the same dish, however this year I opted for the Pad Prik King, but with tofu as I'm recently vegetarian. I've had amazing tofu and horrible tofu, so I didn't know what to expect. Thankfully their tofu was perfection! Crispy on the outside and full of the flavorful sauce from the dish. My fiance even liked it and he isn't a tofu fan. Both of our Pad Prik King were delicious, with an abundance of delish vegetables and an insanely flavorful sauce. We opted for a 4 spice level and while I easily could have went with a 5, my fiance felt it was on the higher end of spicy. My tolerance to spice is much higher than his, however. I'm still annoyed I have yet to come close to replicating this sauce at home lol! This spot is definitely one of my Spokane favorites and rivals the amazing Thai restaurants we have in Vegas, which says a lot.

Before going back to Idaho from running errands in Spokane, we stopped in for lunch. I wanted to try something different this time and ordered the half-size of the Caruso's Signature Salad and as described by the menu, it consists of: Dried Cranberries, Candied Walnuts, Parmesan, Tomatoes, Onion, Salad Greens, House-Made Croutons, House Vinegar & Oil Blend, Blue Cheese Dressing. I opted for the house of vinegar and oil and really enjoyed their blend. The salad was a delight and the candied walnuts were so scrumptious! The half-size portion was really filling too. My roomie ordered the half-size Meatball sub. I love how they hollow out some sourdough then stuff the meatballs, sauce, and cheese inside and afterwards close off the sub by using the inside bread they hollowed out to plug up and close the sub. Genius idea! My roomie says his meatball sub was really good, super oven hot, and pretty saucy tasty. He's big on cheese and wished it had a little more cheese. Overall, he said he'd get it again. For my birthday dessert freebie, I went with the raspberry cheesecake. It was a pretty big slice and had some height to it, not like the normal standard size you commonly see and it had a decent amount of crust ratio. Ambiance was quiet as it was after the lunch rush and before the dinner crowd. The male worker helping us was super cool and chill and even wished me a belated birthday, which was nice. I think next time, I'll try their pizza.

I do feel the prices are kinda high for what you get though. Employees are all helpful and friendly, working hard and doing a great job. The inside is really disappointing though.
