I began my yoga journey on 7/13 after years of taking care of everyone it is now my time to take good care of me. I started here at Kai! Very clean well organized studio. Lovely instructors No pressure, No judgment! Was I able to jump in and do all these poses? Heck, no...but I did get through the classes without wanting to quit. Was I sore yes, but in the best way! My personal best! Yes, I said best! At 60 I decided to try new things push me out of my comfort zones I found kindred spirits in this studio. I did what I could and did what I pushed for. I decided to come to aerial yoga on Saturday thr 3rd of August! I had a blast! Mandy, I think that was her name... gave excellent instructions and made sure that you were in the correct positions. She also warned you that the aerial sling may leave marks the first time if you aren't use to it. I will definitely be going back! read more

Easy-to-find location, reasonable drop-in/first time rates, friendly, approachable and welcoming staff. Has two bathrooms you can change in, as well. Sonja teaches the counted primary Ashtanga series and it's fantastic. Appropriate, safe, effective adjustments made my practice smooth and just a little more challenging, all while feeling secure and moving at a pace that stimulated me without breaking me. Sonja recently completed a mentor program with Taylor Hunt and is headed to study in Mysore. She's a riot to talk to, loves the practice and keeps it authentic while making great modifications for beginners. A+! read more

I was visiting the area on business and needed a class to occupy some time. I found Kai through Google and they had enough information in their site to get me interested and I was even able to register and pay for the class online. Bonus points for that! This place saved me.... literally. I never thought I would enjoy to do yoga. I am a type A go-go-go personality. I was advised to try yoga. The owner (Sonja) was a warm inviting and incredibly trained instructor. She takes the time to go through poses, what the benefits are and modification to receive the same benefit if you are unable to reach a pose. The studio is warm and inviting and the owner will never let you feel like you do not belong. There is an incredible sense of community within this studio. Yoga classes vary from total beginner (like never stepped on a mate before) to more advanced and the studio has even started Aerial yoga with swing props. Everything in this studio is done to the highest professional manner. If you want learn what yoga is and what it can do then Kai Yoga is THE place to be!!! read more

Wonderful studio and instructor. Sonja is a caring and thoughtful instructor and extremely helpful. Only been going the last 6 months, but I feel so much better. The students are nice, friendly and supportive too! Recommend this studio for beginners or experienced yogis. read more
