Our family had an excellent experience at Kahana Falls. The crew is what made our vacation so special. Look at the photos. We were able to shoot our family get together by the beautiful water fall and well-manicured grounds at Kahana Falls. They have resident cats that I took pictures of because they were so nice. What makes Kahana Falls special is the employees.

this place is disgusting. don't come here unless you enjoy sleeping with roaches. Called management and they told me that they already booked and will do nothing for us. Would never return

    6/18/2021 through 7/2/2021: Kahana Falls Condo's POV.

11/27-28/2022: I arrived at my Kahana Falls Condo after an arduous flight from Sac Airport-I'm still suffering from severe jet lag; it was egregiously grueling leaving my Placerville House at 3:00 AM in order, flying out via meeting Hawaiian Airlines' flight schedule at 7:00 AM! Ahhh but, still~It's worth my time waking up at 1:00 AM, i.e., NorCal Time Zone so, I may breathe in Maui's ocean air, smell the gorgeous flowers' scintillating fragrances wafting into my Condo, and ohhhh~the panoramic vistas unseen at my country, Placerville House . . . Ahhhh~That's IT: Another gorgeous, Maui day chilling out at my Condo~LOL!!!! Backstory: Before YELP! was created, I bought Kahana Falls in 1993 after Hurricane Iniki. All the trees seen in 2022 were just little plants about one foot tall. Now while staying at my Maui Condo from 11/27/2022 through December 4, 2022, I find myself admiring the Kahana Falls' Landscapers hard work: All the trees and all the tropical flowers are all now standing majestically tall embracing the waterfalls and pools. Preface: I've been a Kahana Falls' Owner, since 1993, I only pay the Hawaiian Visitor's Hotel Taxes-nothing else.

So underrated. Loved our stay here. Clean and staff are very friendly. Complete amenities.

The location of this place is great, next to the beach , restaurant across the street and close to the " 30" to drive in any direction, room is outdated, it's a time share , so there's not to much upgrades here and NO room service of course due to CoVid , but that's going away the month we left , March , we stayed for a week and the room wasn't as great as other resorts I'm guessing, there's a nice sauna and pool next to a Koi pond , the card keys are horrible, almost had to be reset daily, old system front deck says. They have beach stuff for rent and kitchen is stocked, next time we won't be here , I loved Maui and we're coming back .

    When did Kahana Falls open?

I really don't know the correct answer due to the fact, I purchased my condo in 1993 from Kahana Falls.

Yes there's an energy fee but that's to be expected anywhere on the island so might as well take advantage of the appliances.

Cold washcloth infused with an amazing scent, cucumbers for the eyes, flavored waters, a tea station, and light snacks. They had every needed toiletry. Everything was well kept and refreshed after each use. My massage with Holly on 1/5 was amazing. So relaxing. She allowed me to talk until I was calm (I get a little nervous with a new person) and made sure I was very comfortable. The massage felt so good I almost fell asleep. I felt amazing afterwards. No aches and pains. I felt 20 years younger. Thank you Holly. You're amazing!!! I came back 3 days later and had a massage from Piper. It was not relaxing. I'd call it more energizing. She worked the muscles hard. A very different massage. I definitely did not fall asleep during this massage. No talking, the music was annoying and the temperature was extreme. Sadly not my preference but might be someone else's. (My impression was the Holly let the client direct the massage where Piper told the client how the massage was going to happen). I will make sure I request Holly and change my schedule to match hers if necessary. She relaxed my muscles and touched my heart and soul. Mahalo. The receptionist is really sweet. She's nice to talk to and very knowledgeable about the shop and various things in the shop. She remembered my name when I called back to switch days and times. Susie was a great attendant. Everything was clean and well stocked. She even made sure the kettle water for my tea was hot. Thank you!!!

My experience at this hotel was absolutely terrible. When I…read morearrived, there were construction works being carried out directly in front of my room. The noise was so intense that it was impossible to rest. I had just completed a 5.5-hour flight and was extremely exhausted, but I couldn't lie down or sleep because there was constant cutting, drilling, and loud construction noise. It was unbearable. I went outside and politely asked the workers to stop or at least move the work further away from my room, but they refused. I then started recording a video to document the situation and have evidence for a review. At that point, one of the workers approached me, began threatening me, and tried to take my phone. It was a very disturbing experience. I went to the front desk and asked them to stop the situation, but they refused to help. Yes, I raised my voice out of frustration, but instead of resolving the issue, they called the police and made it seem like I was at fault. If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay, please do not choose this hotel. There is no respect for guests here -- it feels like they only care about money. I struggled to get my refund back and, after a lot of effort, I finally managed to recover my money. I did not even stay there for two hours before leaving. Honestly, when I left, I felt relieved and happy knowing I would never return to this place again. As for the rooms, there was a very strong smell of mold. I did not see visible mold, but the odor was overwhelming the moment I opened the door. The photos make the rooms look spacious, modern, and well-maintained, but in reality, they are small, worn out, and the furniture looks old and used. That moldy smell is something I will never forget.

Napili Sunset was great for a short trip. The one and two bedroom apartments are literally steps from the ocean. Snorkeling gear is available if you didn't bring your own. Beautiful coral reefs with so many colorful fish. Stroll along the ocean and enjoy a sky filled with stars at night. Enjoy the garden landscaped with giant hibiscus and palm trees. Gabriel was so nice when he checked us into the room. Love the waterproof wristbands which serve as keys. Thanks for the tips to book a last minute early morning whale watching cruise. Amazing to see hundreds of whales including baby whales learning to breach. The room was simple but cute for a weekend beach stay. Fully stocked kitchen available. Oversized balcony with a peekaboo view of the ocean overlooking the pool and garden. Even binoculars were available for whale watching. Nice perks also included free parking, good WiFi and no resort fees. Fresh towels are available at the office. Studios have air conditioning, but ocean view rooms do not. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay at Napili Bay Beach.

They were accommodating and had a rollaway bed delivered the next day. I met Mike who is on the management team here at Kahana Village and explained what had happened the prior night from the woman who answered the phone. Thank you to Mike I am still disappointed by the sofabed issue but I am able to focus more on the positive aspects of the place. The location is about 6 miles North of Lahaina and in a small resort area. It is a little outdated but safe and comfortable. The amenities are the pool area which includes a gazebo with ice machines and it comes with Beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards and a cooler for the beach adventures. There are a couple restaurants and bars that are walking distance from the complex. I am eating it somewhere between and 3.5-4.0 and rounding up because Mike was such a nice person and made the rest of the vacation for me.
