The level of professionalism, friendliness, and expertise shown by Ofir, his wife Shimi, and the team was truly unmatched. We were never left questioning when or how work would get done. You should seriously choose Ofir construction for any home project moving forward. Slightly on the more expensive side, but still reasonable, and worth it to feel comfortable with the quality of work, and to have your project completed on time, which can be hard to come by with larger projects! All bathrooms look amazing now, but especially our master bathroom, which went from a drab bathroom with a tub and curtain rod, to an open concept bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower, and custom vanity with vessel sinks - feels like a bathroom you'd find at the 1 hotel (Miami or Hanalei)!

Project manager Josef was excellent in bringing in his partners (designers, foreman, etc.) to ensure from the design to finish we were collaborating and satisfied with the end result. For the garage, we had it drywalled (no insulation), installation of a attic ladder (bought from Home Depot) to make use of a pre-built storage area, updated garage door and exterior lighting. Front yard included adding extra pavement to be able to park two cars on the driveway (we have the pre WW II one car driveway) but looks like a part of the front yard design, installation of artificial grass (YAY), redo of the front porch to include redoing the porch ceiling with a bare wood look, and installation of a pathway to the front steps. We had 3 home improvement projects in the last couple of years (including this project) and WTG Builders was the best in terms of responsiveness, communication, and setting expectations. Perhaps I'm more wiser too about projects but I appreciated Project Manager Josef's communication and updates and the various trade teams were fantastic. I also took into consideration their work in the local Long Beach/Lakewood area which I think is important. I would use them again and recommend them for similar projects!

We had a great experience with Eddie and American Home Improvement on our full gut home renovation…read more Eddie stepped in after we had to part ways with another contractor who couldn't provide a clear scope of work and was inconsistent with budget and timelines. From day one, he took charge and completely turned the project around. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful, quickly creating a solid scope of work that met our needs while staying very reasonable within our budget. He made thoughtful recommendations that truly benefited the renovation without unnecessary cost and always looked for ways to help. Eddie ensured the project stayed on track, had consistent oversight, and went above and beyond to get the job done right. Our home is now the best looking in the neighborhood. We highly recommend Eddie and American Home Improvement

(Note: The furniture bar cabinets and library were added later on and were not part of this contractor's project). From start to finish, the entire team was extremely professional, dedicated, and highly skilled. On the very first day we met, Nir helped design a 3D view of the project that perfectly captured exactly what we had envisioned. Throughout the build, we had a weekly walkthrough with Nir to check if we had any questions or concerns, which kept communication incredibly clear. Elba was also an excellent project coordinator who was always available to answer our questions and keep everything on track daily. The construction crew themselves were clearly very experienced and knowledgeable; they followed our approved plans meticulously and were happy to accommodate extra requests along the way. You can truly gauge the quality of their work by the fact that every single city inspector visit passed on the first try--nothing ever had to be rescheduled or redone because everything was built perfectly to plan. Additionally, all of the finishes--from the drywalling to the trim work and paint--were done with high-quality materials and top-tier craftsmanship. Overall, it was a great experience, and we highly recommend them!

I was first referred to Preferred Builders by my tax preparer, Happily, my first repair/remodel turned out wonderfully so I immediately started a remodel on my own home. Scope of work: remove all the carpeting in the house and install laminate plank flooring in those areas. The travertine flooring in the entry, kitchen and hallway had large craters which collected dirt and water residue after washing. I had the floor steamed, the craters filled and the whole floor resealed. I had a gasline installed in the kitchen and a new gas oven installed. I also had a complete bathroom remodel which included removing a huge jacuzzi tub and installing an elegant and safe walk in shower. For the bathroom Nir listened to my concerns and needs and then gave me two 3-D renderings of my options. Elba was fabulous and fast with permits, a purchase list and provided weekly job schedules and updates. I have now completed this remodel and I can't be happier. My Preferred Builders team was pure gold! I highly recommend Nir, Elba and Orel, the Foreman. Orel was caring and his experience was invaluable, Roman, (drywall, moldings, paint, flooring) Carlo (beautiful tile work) and Abnir were all professional, caring and kind. My remodel was reasonable and fast. I definitely recommend Preferred and I already have.

Gary is not just a great handyman/contractor, he has truly been a godsend for me…read more I was in the process of renting out a house and had a decent list of tasks that I still needed to get done quickly, and of course as things go, more issues started to pop-up. Gary was able to fix everything not only in a timely, competent manner, but he and his painter Salvador went above and beyond to make everything look even better than I expected, at a great rate. I had Gary and Salvador help me install doorstops, replace doorknobs, fix incorrectly installed door latches, replace sinks and faucets and drains, and paint various shelves and cabinets around the house. It has been the greatest pleasure working with them both, and everyone that has seen their work (prospective tenants, property managers) have commented on how high-quality their work is. In fact, I believe that I was able to quickly rent out my house due to the work that they did. They saved me a ton of headache having to fix everything individually with different trades. I also started having Gary help me with tasks in my own house, which has continued to be a great experience. You can take a look at their paint job in my photos - they really did an amazing job. Gary from Quick Care Home Repair is beyond competent, efficient, friendly, pleasant to work with, and honest with the utmost integrity. He is incredibly talented... We honestly feel lucky we got to experience how he does business. He has set the bar so high that it's going to be hard to work with anyone else now. What made him different? Clear, consistent communication: Every evening, he gave us a recap of what was done that day and what to expect the following day and for the rest of the week. Updates during the day: He kept us in the loop while he was working (for example, letting us know when he was heading to Home Depot and when he expected to be back to finish a task). He's also just a genuinely kind and honest person. We had originally requested something very specific in our bathroom, and the tile crew made a small mistake. Gary caught it, called us that night to explain, and told us he would have his team redo it so it matched what we agreed on in our initial meeting....without us even asking. That level of integrity and pride in his work is rare. He remodeled our bathroom and bedroom, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Gary is now our go-to for anything construction-related. Gary is the best!
