That's just silly, so we waited 10 minutes before heading over. We arrived and picked up our bag with all the items listed on the receipt and headed back. We thought that maybe we forgot a bag, but no, they just failed to add two items and let us leave. "We tried to call you but your line was busy," was the answer, but that's simply not true. I wasn't on the phone and I have a cell phone -- busy signals do not apply. There was no record of an incoming call either. The attitude of staff was not apologetic whatsoever. A simple, "We're so sorry" would have sufficed. One of the items we had ordered was now out of stock. In fact, one staff member said, "You're the third customer today who didn't get their cinammon croissant," which only revealed the failure of their ordering process. With limited options, we chose the Nutella croissant as a substitute. Returned home and finally ate. One sandwich was delicious (bacon-egg-cheese on a ciabatta roll) but the other had sriracha instead of ketchup as requested -- made a big difference in taste which we did not like. The replacement pastry we were forced to choose tasted very stale and not so much of Nutella. Coffee with a shot and the latte didn't taste particularly strong. Iced chai latte was fine, but nothing to write home about. Not worth $54 -- including a tip for staff that we wished we could rescind.
