It took us a little longer than 30 minutes to get through 9 holes, but for $14 a game it was nice to get a taste of what it was like. I would absolutely return, and plan to take advantage of their $25 play all day deal, and also their happy hour. This is not your usual putt putt place. Everything is electronic, and your ball has a microchip in it, so it tracks your score. This was awesome for me, as sometimes it didn't record my strokes and gave me a slight advantage, although I still lost. There are screens that tell you what to do, and hazards or super tubes that if you have decent aim, can benefit you greatly. Our favorite was the pac man and Tetris themed holes. Here's what happened: I came in last night with a group of friends and had a Monster Energy drink in my front pocket. It wasn't taken at the door, so I forgot about it until I noticed it while playing at the beer pong table. I cracked it open without thinking much of it. Christian came around bussing glasses and took the Monster from me. I assumed it was a mistake at first, but he told me I couldn't have it inside -- fair enough. I asked if I could take it outside or leave it somewhere. He said he'd hold it behind the bar for me to pick up when I left. That seemed reasonable, and I thanked him. When I came to grab it on my way out, he tossed it in the trash instead. When I asked why, he pulled it back out and slowly poured it into the trash, yelling that I wasn't supposed to have it in there and accusing me of sneaking it in. The whole thing felt like he was trying to provoke me into a confrontation. It was humiliating -- not just for me, but honestly for the bar too, especially in front of a crowd. There are so many better ways this situation could have been handled. It's unfortunate, because the rest of the staff were friendly and professional, and I genuinely like the arcade bar itself. To ownership: Please take note -- this employee needs support, training, or possibly a different role that doesn't involve direct customer interaction.
