Food is excellent and employees are very kind. Our family tried the hummus platter, shawarma plate, gyro plate, and a special shawarma and falafel rice bowl--we enjoyed all of it. Prices are admittedly on the higher side, BUT the portions were above average compared to other similar restaurants I have attended and for the quality I think it is fair. Ordered the gyro plate with rice and salad. It was freshly prepared for me while I waited. It was very delicious and I enjoyed it. The naan was served fresh piping hot, but a little overdone on the bottom and underdone on the top. I still enjoyed it with my meal though! We celebrated our anniversary with a lunch here. My partner ordered the gyro plate; I ordered the chicken kabob plate. I added a side of falafels since I can't go to any place that offers them and not place an order! The plates came with two sides and the fresh Naan bread. We both ordered the salad and the seasoned rice. The salad was huge - big enough for us to share. It was fresh and the dressing was delicious. The rice was seasoned perfectly and the bread was the best! My partner thought the gyro meat was tasty, while my chicken was seasoned well but was a bit overcooked. I dipped the pieces in the tahini sauce and that helped, but would have liked them to take it off the grill a few minutes earlier. The falafels were some of the best I've had. The restaurant is clean with table cloths and real dishes and utensils! The time waiting for our order was reasonable for a sit down restaurant. I've had this on my radar and I'm so glad I got to try tonight. The food was incredible. I ordered the Gyro Plate with rice and a salad. It came with 2 sauces, tzatziki and a red sauce (I'm not sure what it's called) but it was really good. The meat was seasoned well and tender. The naan was pillowy and crispy and the salad had a really flavorful dressing and a little kick to it. The staff were very friendly. Stopped here for lunch on our way to a family reunion in Brown County State Park. We chose the Greek Salad. It was the best salad I have ever been served in a restaurant. The large salad bowl was well chilled, the greens were crisp and flavorful. The dressing was just the right amount. It was a perfect light lunch for a warm summer day. As we were finishing our meal the owner brought us complimentary cups of hot mint tea, sweetened just enough to bring out the fresh mint taste in a darkly brewed tea. Wonderful!! I ordered the gyros plate which came with a salad which was huge (delish) and rice which was alright, but not my favorite. The naan bread is outstanding, but the sauces that came on my plate were not recognizable to me and not to my taste. The restaurant was clean, well lit, but staff was not helpful at all. They seemed dismissive which I found off-putting. I guess there could be a language barrier. Prices were reasonable, but the music although pleasing made it hard to make conversation. I just discovered this restaurant at the beginning of the week I've already been here twice to eat and I WILL be going back a lot I'm an Uber driver so I'm discovering lots of different place to try that being said everything I have tried has been excellent literally over the top just amazing when I ate there today I got the vegetarian plate this was 15.00 dollars the average cost of an entre at most mis priced restaurants for my money I got so much food basically most of what I would want to eat anyway when I stepped up to compliment the I expressed that the eggplant dip was a bit too hot for me she told me next time I could have a substitute without even having to ask I should add the music is so wonderful and their fountain drinks are very cheap at just 2.99. With refills the atmosphere was excellent if I had to pick something that might be improved it would be the use of A/C however that is just me personally and if I'm honest it was only notable due ti the outside temperature being 106F had it not been such an unbearable temperature I would not have even mentioned the lack of A/C even given that the outside temperature is beyond their control and they have to pay the utilities and stay afloat in this business therefore my mention of this is more about my personal comfort and should not be held against them as by the time I was done eating my body which is pretty heat intolerant had adjusted to the heat and honestly while it was doing this I was enjoying amazing food and did not really notice the temperature as I was acclimating the only reason I even mentioned it was some people may have health issues the may be affected by the temperature I would like to close this review by hi-lighting that the owners are very friendly most accommodating and use amazing fresh ingredients have great music and just see my rating is a 5-star awesome people amazing food sn overall extremely awesome experience I will be eating here again and again read more
