And there will be a next time! The vibe was cute, cozy. The menu was perfectly simple with Italian staples, an amazing steak selection and some specials. We ordered the portobello mushroom appetizer - it was so good that we needed a second one! We shared the surf and turf special. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked perfectly. We enjoyed delicious happy hour beverages and then decided to order desert, despite being stuffed. We opted for the blondie with ice cream and holy moly! It was so amazing that I had to order one to go for my sister haha. The chef came out and we had to shake his hand. Not to be dramatic, but this is one of the best restaurants we've found in Southern Indiana thus far.

If we would have known, we would have been here EVERY night of our visit! I wanted steak & boy did I get a steak!!!!! PURE BLISS! Our little doesn't really eat when we go out but she ate 1/2 of her spaghett....that's saying something! The owner, Brandon, went around & conversed w/every table & made everyone feel welcome! GREAT customer service, wait service & the food was/is PHENOMENAL.....& that's an understatement!!!! We took the cheesecakes to go so we could "digest enjoy" our dinner but we did have a small small tease taste & oh my goodness.... We would make a trip from California JUST to come back to Mama T's....WITHOUT QUESTION!!!!! Thank you Brandon & your staff! And please, compliments compliments to the chef!

Not lightly breaded like traditional piccata and zero capers, but was still pretty tasty. Hubs enjoyed spaghetti, meatballs and sausage. He thought he was getting a mix of both but waitress just added a side order of sausage where most Italian restaurants don't do that. No mention of an up charge. He did say it was very good. Waitress didn't know the house wines or the menu very well, but the service was adequate. Our friend sent his burger back as he felt it was too rare. His date enjoyed the steak. The music was loud and at times it was hard to talk at the table or hear the wait staff. Overall it was good but not sure I'd rush back.

Our server was Christina who did a great job throughout the meal. We started with drinks and no appetizers. My wife and I ordered the 12 oz rib eyes and my sister the filet with shrimp on top. Meal comes with a salad and potato. The salad was very good with a delicious dressing. Our steaks arrived and they were cooked perfectly with their zip sauce(butter and garlic). The potato was big and still hot. Overall a great meal, service, in a really cool old building interior.

The parking lot is quite small but I found a place to park. There was a party going on but it was in a separate room with no door. It was quite loud because of the party. With how the table situation is set up, a table for one would have been awkward so I sat at the bar. I ordered the recommended mushroom ravioli. There were two servers in the restaurant and both attended to me if they saw I needed more water or wine. I was told that the chef is Italian so I was really looking forward to the meal. It took a minute but it was well worth the wait. It was so delicious. Probably the best mushroom ravioli I have ever had. The portion was large so I even had enough for another meal. I would certainly go back here again if I am ever in the area.

Poor management. If new customers come in, I would want to make sure i have their order 1st, especially after being seated for 20 mins. Its a small restaurant. We also asked if they serve pizza, the server had no idea...how do u not know that? And no wine menu. Their website is clearly outdated and they have about 10 entrees total, all of them pasta. We just paid for our drinks and left. And im glad, I can absolutely tell it wouldn't have been authentic anyway. Yes I have been to Italy multiple times, im from Europe.

We wanted Italian. And this looked like the place to go with all five star reviews…read more First the parking. There is a lot of free parking in the adjacent Stadium Park Plaza garage. It's a bit confusing to find the restaurant though from there, as there is no access from the first floor. But from the 2nd and 3rd floor there is access using the elevator. The bulb in the elevator area needs to be replaced because it's burned out, and all dark like a scene from a horror movie. The restaurant faces the ballpark stadium Inside the restaurant there weren't many customers on a weekday for dinner. It was our waitresses second day and she messed up quite a lot. Like the bill/check had us all ordering drinks and extra meat with our pasta, but we didn't do any of that. But she was nice about it all, and even comp'd us a $5 beer which I pointed out to her that she didn't add to the bill yet (that being the one and only omission in the midst of all the wrong add-ons). The fried calamari appetizer was good. Only the rings. No arms. The pomodoro sauce was nice. But overall it was just an average dish and much better at other places. The New York strip was good. But they didn't have asparagus. That would be ok if not for the fact that they only have 3 sides to choose from: roasted potatoes, rice, and asparagus. So it was either double potatoes or the rice. So we got the rice. And it was super boring, and tasted overcooked and chewy. The steak and potatoes were good though. The kid's Alfredo was good too. But the carbonara was kinda bland. The waitress and said it was a white sauce but upon checking it was butter sauce she told us. But it was really not worth it. The complimentary bread they served with the meal tasted like pretzel bread. Kinda hard and chewy. But hot. It was good. It comes with olive oil for dipping. Over $100 for 3 people. It was kinda steep. And add to that a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. Well that really was like salt in the wound. Is all of bowling green like that with credit surcharges? Sure hope not.
