Staff were nice and accommodating. Nice artwork and painting giving Italian atmosphere. I wish they were playing music that matches Italian atmosphere. The lighting could have been better. Clean bathrooms. Started with the house salad and bread -5 Salad had too much dressing on it. Bread was homemade and tasty but too much oil. Spaghetti was a 7 The pasta quality was average at best. The sauce was well balanced but seemed store brought. This meal cost $14. I believe the portion was decent for the cost. Stuffed mushrooms were a 6 They were not stuffed with real crab meat and I didn't taste any ricotta cheese or bread crumb. The cheese was good that the mushrooms came in. Italian margarita was a 5 They were out of orange juice so I subbed pineapple juice and it did not hit. Dessert wine was a 9 Silk pie is just a chocolate cake. They were out of chocolate syrup. The texture was not our favorite - 7 Cheesecake - 7 It was a cheesecake lol not a fan of cherry sauce but not bad. Overall, Angelo's was a 4 star. I would eat there again but maybe not dine in.

I always like to start off with the positive. On a warm summery evening, under the shade of huge trees overhead, the sidewalk outdoor dining ambiance of this place is as nice as any place in Rome. And the staff is great -- friendly, prompt and helpful. Now for the bad news: what they gain in atmosphere they lose by cooking lousy food. We shouldn't have to throw $15 onto a plate of food to eat what tastes like leftovers, should we? But when you order "crab cakes served on a bed of Angel Hair pasta," and it arrives within three minutes, noodles hopelessly mushy and crab cakes barely warm, you know that this dish was sitting in the fridge when you took your seat and was microwaved shortly after you ordered it. It gets worse. The "crab cakes" were made from a product called "artificial crab," which is a mass produced, pressed fish meal food substitute and costs about $3 a pound in a supermarket. It has no actual crab in it. Maybe this restaurant thinks it's fooling someone -- and maybe it is -- but that someone is not me. C'mon Angelo, do the right thing. Serve some decent food! You've got a great location, now do something with it. And Angelo, make it a dining experience! Italian dining is not done in 30 minutes. Stop rushing people. Grazie.

Angelo's is good, solid Italian food that it feels like it's catering to their guest base. Service is kind and professional. Friendly with suggestions and happy to help. The house salad is very good. Nice dressing but a free too many chopped black olives which are a bit out of place. I had the Chicken ala Crema. The chicken is tenderized and falls apart under a very thick sauce. Mushrooms were not overcooked which was nice. It's a take on Marsala but the cream gets in the way. So much sauce. Good flavors but it was hard to taste anything but the sauce. Perfectly cooked pasta. They understand the process perfectly. I also had the Tiramisu. The dessert was quite authentic and the server said was made in house. The top layer was a bit frozen so I think the refrigerator was set too low. A nice place. I'll order my dish with easy sauce next time.

This place definitely blew my expectations out of the water. From walking in to leaving, everything was perfect. I recommend trying the tortellini with chicken. Definitely will be coming back!!

FAVORITE place to eat when visiting on business. In one week I went there 3 times. The chicken cordon blue is the BEST. Service is always amazing and their fountain Cokes are the best......real Coke loves will get how important that is.

Chicken Cordon. It came with salad and a light Italian dressing with rolls. We also ordered the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer.

To be very honest the food is very normal. Like a olive garden type of style, not bad but nothing surprising.

It was really good. Most places give one big wedge. They do three small wedges here that way you don't get a bunch of lettuce at the bottom and no toppings. The Bruschetta bread was really good. I did the Pick two shrimp scampi with a kicked in up sauce and the other one was scallops with apples and a honey glaze with some crumbles. Service is excellent here. Jordan is a great waiter and very prompt with refills and checking on me. The dining room atmosphere is nice and quiet and charming. Not too busy for a Sunday afternoon.

So loud it was difficult to carry on a conversation and so loud it spoiled to overall experience. Now to the food... the wedge salad was fantastic, the bread was hot and tasty but the entrée was less than satisfying. I asked for a cup of soup that came out with the entrée. The spaghetti and meatball entrée was hot but the meatballs were significantly overcooked. I had high expectations as the decor is very nice and the staff was approachable. I won't be back due to the issues mentioned above.

We went to Lobo Lounge about 1:15 on a Thursday afternoon. The place had a couple people in there, but we were greeted as soon as we entered which is a HUGE in my book. I enjoyed the Loaded BBQ Chicken nachos and the BBQ sauce was sweet and mildly spicy. It was delicious. They were actually out of their normal tortilla chips but found a way to improvise as I showed my disappointment. I thought that was really nice and most any other restaurant I've gone to would not even consider this. So I was really impressed with their service. My friend got the pizza with pineapple, ham and brown sugar and it was excellent. She let me sample it. The crust was great, a thin style but crispy chewy... really good. Someone said they allow smoking on their review but that is no longer true. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable and satisfied (as I mentioned early about the chips). The chef that made our food was personable and funny, he even let me sample his own sandwich he had just came up with for himself - it was delicious! Our server was so friendly and prompt, I wish I could remember her name. The prices were a nice surprise and so we will be going back very soon to try a lot of the other great sounding food they offer. They have a parking area across the street in addition to street parking. There is also an outdoor dining area that would be great for the evening or if the weather hadn't been so hot. The only thing negative I can say is the place is a little small but not really intimate because their juke box is a little too loud to have a quiet conversation at least I thought it was too loud for lunch. We were still able to talk, but I felt I had to talk louder than normal and ask her to repeat herself more than I should've. Overall, I highly recommend this little hidden gem.
