    Hummus Time
    Justin T.

Five stars and the place is now open for dine in! I've had takeout a couple times and today I went inside and had lunch. The place has some of the best Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food (LEBANESE specifically) around! I love Mediterranean food because it's healthy and tasty. The place itself is small but had plenty of seating while I was there. Everything is really good, from the salad dressing to the rice- you can tell that someone is paying close attention to all the items served. The Koobedah is some of the best I've ever had. The lunch specail is very affordable- you get a lot of food for $12.95.- including salad, hummus, pitas, rice, tzatziki and protien options (Gyro, Koobedah, chicken swarma, etc). In the nearby vicinity this is by far the best Mediterranean option around. The server did a great job and was very on top of our order (Refills etc). I definately recommend this place and will be a regular. Happy eating!

    Vegetarian Lovers Plate

The service was good. It is carry out only. I liked the variety offered on the vegetarian lovers plate. My husband ordered a gyro and hummus and pita. The hummus was of okay but it was served ice cold. The side of hummus was cold and not a large portion for the price. I liked the variety on the veggies plate but there were only two pieces of falafel that were dry and not great. I would have preferred the hummus and eggplant dip not be served cold since the salads were cold. The tabouli salad was very tasty though.

YUM ... dangerously ADDICTING food!!! omg so good and love that it's a FAMILY business where everyone pitches in to make a great experience for guests.

This is what you get for nearly $19.00. tzatziki sauce was an additional 1.25z Yeah, I won't be back!

I don't even know why this place bothers to stay open. It's 2024 and they are still terrified of the pandemic that's over. They have their tables set up to block the door and not allow anyone in, plus signs to "stay back!" I mean why not just give up and close down if you're that afraid?! It seems like they just live in the back and wait for an order to come in and come up to cook it. The owner wouldn't even make eye contact. The girl stood far away and was seemingly terrified to even have to talk to you and can't give ANY info about the size of their portions as I wanted to simply order 8OZ of gyro meat. She kept saying "we just give three slices like is on the actual gyro!" Umm ok, and then she said I had to pay $1.25 for tzatziki sauce! HUUUUUH??? I said if I order the gyro then it would already be on the actual sandwich, so why am I getting charged extra when I'm not even getting a pita or anything else and still paying the full price for a gyro?! She just looks at me dumbfounded, and has no answer to my questions.. So I paid nearly $20 for a VERY SMALL portion of food and it seems these people have no clue how to run a business, nor will they know any nutritional info about their own food! I'm giving it 2 stars because the falafel was actually good and portioned well. The amount of meat I got for the price was an absolute JOKE and it was old and DRY AS A BONE! AVOID at all costs!

Food is super fresh and yummy. We come for lunch and I alternate between the chicken shawarma sandwich and, gyro sandwich, beef shawarma sandwich and lamb sandwich and each is a 5/5. Service is excellent and ambience is casual

    Kafta dinner plate

This place is pretty good if you are craving kabobs. I found their kafta kabob to be small in size, but super juicy and with a unique cinnamon flavor. Some may not like this, but I didn't mind it. The rice was average, but better than plain white rice some other places down the road offer . The salad dressing has a great taste and is always fresh. The hummus I am not a huge fan of. Not sure what ingredient is missing...maybe some lime/lemon? And the pita bread is just your normal average pita bread. I wouldn't go out of my way for this, but definitely an option if I am in the area. A little pricey too for what you get (in my opinion).

    Gyro Plate

Was craving some meat recently and decided to Uber eats myself some food from kabob station (newborn life lol) I went with the gyro plate which was pretty good. Of course had to get a side of garlic sauce because I live for that stuff. The portion of garlic sauce was huuuuuge, now I see why it was 8 bucks lol. Baklava was ok not the best I've had. Hummus was really tasty, rice and meat was good. All in all I would definitely order from here again.

I miss this place so much! It's the place I compare all of my shawarma to. Nothing beats it and their hummus.

Small portions for the lamb kebab and not necessarily seasoned to thrill the buds. No onion or pepper. Good rice.

The flavor on everything is elevated and fresh!! We had hummus w/pita, falafel, and fries to start. Amazing falafel! Perfectly crispy outside and pillowy inside. For entrees, I had the lamb gyro which was one of the best I've had. The lamb is perfection and they wrap it in a roti instead of pita which was absolutely the move! The house-made pickled veggies served with it were amazing as well and really balanced the nice waiting of the lamb gyro. My wife got the Caesar salad with chicken Shawarma. That was Incredible as well! Try a side of the Harrissa in the zhug sauces to add a little fresh heat! The restaurant has great ambience with some Moroccan type vibes and a great patio. There is a 20% service charge automatically added to every check which is what it is. But for this level of flavor, it's worth it plus tip!

The bartenders and waitstaff were attentive, friendly, and professional. If I were rating only those things, this would be an easy 5 stars. Then the yellow rice arrived cold and crusty. We sent it back. It came back slightly improved but still not properly hot. After a few bites, we found a piece of plastic in it. The half chicken was a mixed bag. The crispy skin was delicious and well seasoned, but the chicken itself was served only lukewarm. Some pieces were moist and enjoyable, while others, especially toward the end, were noticeably dry. It wasn't bad, but had I known it would be served that way, I probably would have ordered something else. The kitchen issues alone would have dropped this to 4 stars. What pushed it down to 3 stars was the billing. A 20% service charge had already been added, yet the payment process still encouraged an additional tip. If you're not paying close attention, it's very easy to leave 40% on an already expensive meal. Whether intentional or not, it feels confusing and misleading. Even if it's disclosed somewhere on the menu, that doesn't make it customer friendly. Customers should not have to do math or hunt through fine print like a budget airlines to figure out what their meal actually costs. Build your labor costs into the menu price and be transparent. Surprise fees create frustration and leave customers feeling misled, regardless of how many disclaimers are printed. To their credit, they removed a couple of drinks from the bill, and I want to be clear that the staff handled the situation professionally. The problem was not the servers. The problem was a kitchen that missed the mark and a shady billing practice that leaves customers with a bad taste in their mouth at the end of the meal. Great hummus. Great pita. Great cocktails. Great service. Cold rice. Plastic in the food. A chicken dish that didn't quite live up to the hype. Confusing service fees. That's how a restaurant that could have been 5 stars ends up with 3.

The presentation was gorgeous with the puree spread out beautifully on a large dish, topped with olives, paprika, parsley, and a very generous dollop of delicious olive oil. An outstanding version of this dish. We received a large plate of very fresh pita triangles to go with the baba ganoush. These were great. We definitely used them to scrape every speck of eggplant off that platter! We both ordered the Gyro Plate. The gyro meat was very authentic, extremely tender, and very flavorful. The plate included a large tower of savory rice, a rich tzatziki sauce, a nice side of silky hummus, some pickled vegetables, and more pita. Another delicious offering and a huge portion. We also had soup as the entrees come with soup or salad. My friend tried the lentil soup and said it was flavorful and tasty. I had the tomato soup which was hardy and richly-flavored.
