Fries were good and decent size 3 pieces of dry falafel for $6 I could hear and see the employee making the food as we were the only two people in there. I fries and falafel went in the fryer. The gyro spit was not turning and the heat was not on even though there was meat on the spit. I never saw nor heard meat being put on the grill. I did hear the microwave. I asked the employee when she came out with the food if she microwaved it and she lied to my face. When I got the food home 5 mins later the gyro was extremely dry. $30 for a dry, skimpy, microwaved gyro, 3 falafel and some fries. Never coming back. Save your money. Very disappointing.

The order process online went smoothly and the food was ready promptly. I was disappointed by the gyro and ended up not eating it. For the uninitiated, a gyro sandwich is a pita bread filled with gyro meat, tzatziki sauce, and sometimes lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The meat is made of a blend of seasoned lamb and beef meat molded around a vertical spit. The spit rotates and the outside is exposed to a heat source. As the meat broils, the chef carves off slices or chunks from the sections that have browned. Typically the gyro meat is cooked to "well done." The meat in my gyro was not browned; rather it was lighter colored and had a mealy mouthfeel. I've eaten gyros in traditional Greek restaurants and casual eateries in Chicago, Austin, San Francisco Bay Area, and now Denver, and this was the first time I've tasted the meat cooked this way. Three stars because the restaurant looked well kept and reasonably clean, the service was polite, and it's possible other people are not bothered by manner of preparation of the gyro. I also ordered a side of hummus and it was good.

20 Years of Searching - Finally Found It!…read more I've lived in Colorado for 20 years, and I've been dying to find a Persian restaurant that matches King Kebab in Sacramento. Well, I finally found it - Baba Joon Kebabs! I actually drove pretty far from my side of town just to get this food, so I was really excited to taste it. And let me tell you - it did not disappoint. The rice was beautiful, the sauce was perfect, the naan (the bread) was very tasty - everything was just spot on. I didn't have time to dine in, so I ordered takeout. I gave some to my daughter to try, and she fell in love with Persian food on the spot. Then I gave it to my high school daughter, and she loved it too. This was their first time trying Iranian food, and they're already hooked. I didn't get to try the lamb shank this time, but next time I'm going straight for it. And honestly, I need to go back, sit down, and really enjoy eating at the restaurant the way it's meant to be experienced. I highly recommend people give Baba Joon Kebab a try. This is one of those cultural foods you need to have in Denver or in Colorado. Because let's be real - Colorado is a fast food state. It doesn't have much cultural food like this. This is one of the cultural foods you'll actually love. And shout out to the Iranian family running it - they did a great job. Very, very good food. If you do the lamb shank right - and from what I tasted, I bet you do - you have my blessing to go. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

It was delicious. One of the better burgers in the Denver area. Lots of flavor. The fries were crunchy and lightly salted. The plate was a bit expensive. For the meal it was a little over $20 but I was happy with my meal. Not too much to say about the service, just a cashier but she did drop my meal off. The restaurant looked nice and the decor was on point. It's a bit out of the way but if you are headed to the airport then you should stop on by.

I would not wish any of my friends or family to associate this with Korean cuisine. This location is located in a shopping plaza with several other restaurants and offers a fast casual option for those looking to stray beyond Chipotle. Inside, bored staff members stare blankly at you while giving unhelpful descriptions of menu items. "Korean style fried chicken" (Ugly Bop), "Korean style BBQ chicken" (Kko Kko Bop), and "Korean style tangy fried chicken" (Rock Bop) all read so similarly that it's hard to tell without having been here before what you're getting. I still don't remember which one was which, but one of them was more like orange chicken (neither Korean... not even ethnically Chinese if you're wondering), one was like popcorn chicken (Taiwanese) and reasonably tasty, and the other one was a sticky sweet chicken. I went with a salad bowl with noodles, while my boyfriend and I split some Mandoo. We waited forever for our meal to be prepared, another flabbergasting oddity since the whole point of a fast casual is for them to scoop and dump and hand you the container. Somehow people coming in after us go their meal first, and when my boyfriend went to ask if our meal was the one sitting on a tray at the end, an employee snapped at him. Turns out it was ours. When we finally unboxed the items, the mystery cream and brown sauces covering our bowls had sort of congealed into an unappetizing mess. The popcorn style chicken wasn't bad, but everything else was just passable and they would honestly be better served by just reheating H-Mart japchae for their noodle base. I shudder to think what their interpretation of ramen is.
