Great meal and service! Loved the Channa Masala. The Naan was excellent. Owners are so personable and helped us decide what dishes to order and what our kids would like. We'll be back! read more

Absolutely always a 5 star rating. My dad gets it every other Friday. I have never been disappointed. Ever. Love the service! The Mowjee's love y'all! The Behari kabob is so tender, it melts in your mouth. The chicken boti never fails. And the wings.. oh my goodness. Fall off the bone. I will never go anywhere else for them. AND I WORK AT A WING PLACE! read more

Authentic Pakistani! Ash was wonderful and gave great advice while ordering. Very nice casual atmosphere and the food was wonderful. They just started a new combo lunch option today that made it easy to try a lot of different dishes. The spice level was just right, not too hot but a nice kick. I had the Behari Kabob along with the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Channa Masala. This was served with you choice of Naan or rice and fresh onions, sliced carrots and jalapenos. Not bad for $8.99. The Naan is so good. Ash told me that if I tried the Behari that I would order only it next time. And she was right. Can't wait to go back and get a large plate of it. This place is legit!!! read more

The food was inedible. The minced beef has skin and membranes still in it. The taste was like no peppers or squash Indian or Pakistani food I ever tasted. No naan or rice was served with the entree. Rice and naan were ordered separately for additional price. It's mainly grilled, but no vegetables like zucchini, onion, tomato or squash grilled for the plates you order. Cannot reccomend for anyone. read more

Wow! Amazing food and the cook and his wife are amazing as well. She took the time to explain the dishes and how best to enjoy the meal. This will be my new go to for lunches and dinner to go. Samosas were perfectly cooked and delicious. The brunch special was so good, I wanted to order another one. Always, always order at least 1 naan, or 3. read more

I was visiting Birmingham from.Houston recently..before I review this place let me emphasize by saying Houston is the hub for traditional Pakistani cuisine. But hands down this place rocks. I felt like I was in heaven eating the food here. Everything taste to the perfection. A must visit when you in Birmingham read more

Delicious food. A friendly place to have tasty kabobs and hangout with friends and family. We liked chicken malai boti kabob and chicken kadhai with mango lassi. The host was very friendly and helped us through the menu. Definitely beats the other restaurants in the area! read more

Kabob-Licious - Chicken Kadhai with Naan & Chicken malai boti kabob - Indian Near Me - Hoover, Alabama

Great food, great service! I can tell the owners & servers take great pride in their restaurant. The cashier/owner knew each dish very well & explained their process of ordering efficiently. They have unique entrees that I personally haven't seen in any of our local restaurants. Each item we ordered was sooo good. Will have to come back to try the rest! I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for authentic, spicy & delicious meals! read more

Probably one of or the best grilled chicken place in Birmingham. The food was hot and just the right amount of spice for my taste. Definitely worth the visit if you're looking for a new place to try!!! read more

Unfortunately the food we ordered all had oil floating in paper plates, plastic spoons, none of the entrees come with rice or bread, unlike any other restaurant for the same or lesser price of the entree, which makes the combined price not worth the bland taste. The menu someone posted online is misleading as the prices are different on the selection menu inside the restaurant. Classic bait and switch strategy. The high priced Kabobs come with regular mint and tamarind sauce. The restaurant hasn't invested in hiring staff as I didn't notice even a single waiter/waitress. I've seen my friends making better food. It's a pay first system which really is another turnoff and annoying as you don't know the service you'll eventually get. Someone posted there was a line outside which is also misleading as I have been going to Dale's next door and have never noticed any line. read more

this place is absolutely phenomenal. some of the best kabobs I've ever eaten. when I travel for work in the area, I bypass every Indo-Pak restaurant in Birmingham proper and head straight to Hoover. all the meats are so tender and juicy with perfect spice/ heat level on request. very friendly/ helpful/ awesome husband and wife team that run the place. if I lived closer I'd eat here weekly. read more

The food is tasty but I was appalled by how greasy some of the things I've tried have been. I got a seek kabob roll and the naan was saturated and soggy because of so much grease from the kabob! How is grilled meat so greasy? I ordered samosas and they are fried so their greasiness is to be somewhat expected so why they are put in paper bags is beyond me. The bags get soaked with grease and fall apart. Draining these "greasy items" on paper towels or something to absorb the grease would improve these items so much. If you are trying not to clog your arteries the grilled chicken dishes seem your best bet. Again good is tasty but some items are too greasy as they are currently served. Hope that changes . read more

Really amazing food delicious meal had samosas and Biyrani omg so good and generous amounts

Fantastic food. Drove here because it was recommended by a friend and it turned out excellent. One of the few places in town where I've managed to find Nihari! The owners were there and took my order, ran my food, and made sure everything was running smoothly. I always appreciate that extra touch of seeing the business owner in a small business. Would recommend to anyone! read more

Absolutely worst customer service. We ordered food at 5pm to pick up on our way to Destin which was another 5 hours away. At 8 the food was still not ready and they wouldn't refund our Money. There is a girl there who has no customer relations experience. She was rude and actually told us they had informed us the food was going to be late ( which they never did). I wouldn't order here again... read more

We stopped here on a road trip and I wish we had a place like it where we live. It especially has a special place in my heart because they made chicken kabob without yogurt and spices for our allergy prone kid and she loved the food. It also is one of those something for everyone places their menu is extensive enough and they also have a few off menu items such as bun kebab. My kids loved the cute and clean interior and the owner is very sweet. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone I know traveling through the area! read more

My favorite Indian cuisine in Birmingham!! They do a great job of helping you decide what you will like best from the menu if you are not super familiar with the different dishes and what to expect from each one. Delicious and always hot and fresh! read more

My family and I wanted to try something different so we said let's try this place. I see why they have 5 stars. The food was so good and the service was topnotch!!! It was too spicy for my dad, but the flavors were so good that he couldn't stop eating it. I would have taken a picture of my food, but I was too busy eating it to think of anything else lol. Needless to say I will be back soon read more

Must try their chicken tikka wings. I can say the best desi style wings I ever had in my entire life. Went there many times. Was there today too. Consistency of the food has been amazing so far. Husband and wife run the restaurant. Very friendly people and service is great. Today, I tried Chicken Malai Boti for the first time. Absolutely loved it. Forgot to mention one more thing, Quality of the food is top-notch like any other fancy restaurant around here. Btw, Pistachio Bakalava, a must try as a dissert. read more

Started good food and good size portions when they first open now they cut down portion raised prices on naan and worse of all they start to re-use (washing them)to-go Containers, they also charged my father $26 for rice we didn't order very sad to see these shameful actions by them helpfully they will fix it read more

So glad to have tried this new place! The owner was personable and a delight to talk to, and was so helpful in walking us through the menu. Her recommendations were on point. I cannot suggest the Behari Kabob enough - at a loss of words to describe how truly good it was - and the chicken biryani hit the spot comfort-food wise. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu and dessert! read more
