The kebab & rice were decent - there're better Persian options out there (though maybe not in Aurora). Also got sabzipolo ba mahi, a special dish for Nowruz (Persian new year). The fish was pretty tasty with a nice lemon taste, but the herbal taste of the rice was a bit acquired. Also got tasting portions of Khoresh Gheymeh (red beef & split pea stew) and khoresh ghormeh sabzi (green beef & herb stew). Both were excellent. Both tasted quite different - the latter had a pronounced herb taste & the former was more conventional. Barberry rice with chicken was ok. The rice was their normal rice with a sour red berry on top. The chicken was rather plain. There was no red sauce unlike in the menu picture.

We debated walking out but are so glad we decided to stay. I actually pulled up google translate on my phone to communicate. It worked great! The food was EXCELLENT! We had beef, veal and chicken kabobs, crispy rice, some kind of yummy dip/appetizer and a cucumber and tomato salad. Oh, and a huge ice cream for dessert! Everything was delicious and tasted homemade. The service was very friendly and the restaurant was clean and pretty. We will definitely be back. Our server who is also the manager said they do a lot of take out and we saw a few people come in and pick up orders while we dined.
