We came here with family while in the area. You can tell its a family run business. The food is great, as was the service. The soup that came with all the meals was good - even the kids loved it. The different kababs were all delicious, and you could tell that it was fresh. The building itself could use an updating / a refresh, but if that was the only thing to complain about, they're doing pretty good, I think! I would definitely come back next time we're in the area. We ordered takeout from Pars Grill last week and found the meat to be a bit overdone, both for the Barq and the Shishkebob. The prices have certainly increased since last year, but it's difficult to blame the owners considering the skyrocketing cost of meat. Persian food-- in particular the grilled meat dishes-- might seem deceptively simple, but why then do we see so many different restaurants featuring the same cuisine? Because despite seeming so simple, there's infinite nuance to crafting the perfect representation of the various specialities, whether koobideh, vaziri, barg, etc., and Pars truly is a cut above the competition when it comes to their preparation of these beloved Iranian favourites. My go-to is their Vaziri, though I've had it pretty much all at this point, and it never fails to surprise me with how perfect a representation of the dish it is. The beef is perfectly cooked and seasoned, without being overpowering, with the char grilling imparting an additional depth of flavour that is a mandatory accomplice to the famous koobideh kebab. And the chicken is similarly perfectly seasoned and cooked, and makes for a perfect partner to the beef skewer. On a bed of perfect basmati rice with a grilled tomato, there is no more satisfying dish- and this truly is the best of all the Persian restaurants I've eaten at. What's more impressive is that they've managed to remain consistent in their quality output for the almost decade I've been a patron- that itself is a very noteworthy and commendable characteristic of any great restaurant. I highly recommend also trying their burger, which is made from the koobideh meat, and is truly unlike any regular burger you've had- it's also absolutely massive, as are all the portions at Pars. Also a big fan of their barley soup. Love this spot- highly, highly, recommended! Don't waste time at the Persian spots along Yonge St., whether by Finch or around Hillcrest- this is much, much, better, I promise! read more

One of the perks of living in my area is I'm so close to ParsGrill. You know you are foodie when you think of your home's geographic distance in relations to a restaurant. ParsGrill is my go to spot for Persian food. It's one of those places where I won't hesitate to buy takeout from even if I'm expecting guests. Where do I begin because they are so amazing! The chicken, the koobideh, the meats are bursting with flavour. You can certainly taste the distinct flavours of saffron that was used for marination. The meat are always grilled perfectly with the right balance; slight burnt on the corners and an aromatic bbq taste. The portions are absolutely ridiculous (in a good way) and always served in a small size aluminum baking tray. You absolutely can't go wrong with this place. Even my wifey who does not like Persian food from almost all Persian restaurants is a fan of this place. Now that speaks to the quality of ParsGrill! read more

First time at this place as I never knew it existed although I live close to the area. The spot used to be a middle eastern restaurant few years back that didn't work out, but this one seems to be really busy which is great to see.. It only has three long rectangle tables and the restaurant only has 24 seats.. It was pretty full, and a-lot of take out orders, which is what I did.. Prices are a little high compared to other Persian restaurants in the area.. I ordered the Soultani Kabab and Vaziri kbab, and they were both good. Been a customer and a fan for about 15 years when they were still on Yonge. I believe the management/owners have changed a couple of times and the food and service has consistently stayed top notch. Hands down they are the best Persian sandwich restaurant in Toronto! I mean have you seen their burgers?! I don't think we have ever had anything bad there but our regular order is the burger, the tongue sandwich and chenjeh sandwich. They also serve full course soltani, koobideh and other Persian BBQ dishes but we mainly go there for their sandwiches. They do have a few tables but again we usually just get take out. This is the second time I've come here and I have to say the cook has the memory of a goldfish. I called ahead and told them to please not put any bread with the rice/kebob dinner. I told the lady to plz tell the cook this, as we have a gluten allergy. I also told her that last time I was there, I mentioned this and they still put the bread which after taking the food home to Woodbridge, my wife couldn't eat it. The lady said I apologize but rest assure that this time I will personally make sure they don't put bread. Just came in now to pickup my food and surely -guess what?, bread again! She said sorry and called the cook who came and told me that he'll just remove the bread. I told him that wouldn't work as the bread has now been sitting under the meat and has come in contact with it. Soggy and stuck to the meat- They said they'll make it again and I say ok- but I'm not happy with 1) second time this has happened and 2) I called 2 hours earlier to have this ready and now I have to wait another half hour while hungry guest and kids wait at home. Inexcusable. Not coming back because there are so many other places that will actually listen to the customers requests. The only reason I came here is because it's the only Persian restaurant in Vaughan. Didn't feel like driving to Richmond hill. We need more Persian restaurants on the west end! read more

There are several good things about this restaurant. There are also several oddities and disappointments i have to talk about. The bottom-line, however, is that I had the Koobideh kabob (minced meat kabob) with rice and it was fragrant, flavourful and the quantity, well let's just say in typical Iranian fashion, there was more food than I can handle. Two friends and I went in for lunch and we were finally able to dine here. I say 'finally' because I had tried once before without luck because it was an evening and they close at 7:30. Can you believe Toronto? The city where restaurants close at 7:30!? My koobideh was tasty and long. The rice was very fluffy and impressively scented. The added butter and mixed grilled tomato made it almost perfect. This was a delicious meal and I barely could finish my plate. They also offer an option to substitute the rice with half salad and half rice. Other items on the menu are various types of kabobs and rice, Iranians non-kabob meals, kabob sandwiches, cheeseburger (what??), beef tongue sandwich and various appetizers. The restaurant is probably better suited as a take-out establishment given that the dining room is rudimentary. One side is a TV wall and aside from the ubiquitous computer error messages the number of errors in English kept us amused the whole way through. Similarly, the menu kept us amazed. It was so much fun we start sampling them. Cuisine is spelt 'cuizine.' Restaurant is spelt 'Resturant.' Kabob is sometimes spelt 'kabob' and sometimes 'kebob.' Frankfurter is called 'Frankfurt.' Deli is spelt 'dali' right after it is spelt correctly as 'deli.' Smoked is spelt 'smoke' and so it goes. The byline claims they are the best 'cuizine' in "Toronto & Richmond Hill." Given that they are in neither of those cities and are in Vaughan I wonder if they have locations in those cities (they don't) and who they recommend as their better in Vaughan. Otherwise, someone must have the heart to tell them in which city they are! Perhaps the best is the announcement on the television telling us that they are closed today (the day we were there). All laughs aside, the waitress was sweet and the food was delicious yet pricey given the setting. Oh well, it was tasty and I would go back. read more

Heard about this place and decided to give it a try. The tenderloin shishkabob was Ok, cooked medium, even though waitress didnt give us a choice. Small portion for the price, lots of rice though!! I had heard they had a special spice that made it extrordinary but seemed like montreal steak spice. Also didnt have any appetisers like hummus and pita etc.. Just soup!! Best Persian meal I have had. It was busy when I walked in to do a takeout order and the staff still made time to give me a takeout menu, which I appreciated. While I waited for my food order, i observed to see what others ate. The portions were massive and very neatly plated. It was definitely a feast for the eyes! The grilled chicken on skewer seemed popular. To my surprise, when my takeout order (koobideh dinner) was ready, it was placed neatly in a full aluminum tray as if I was eating-in!! I love this place and I love Persian food! Its healthy and delicious! I always call at least 10 minutes in advance and my food is hot and ready when I get there. I usually order the "Soltani" (which includes a koobideh kabob, a very large piece of steak cut into small pieces on a bed of fluffy basmati rice, grilled tomato and a salad on the side. I wish they had more seating, as it was very busy, even though it was mostly takeout service. Pay at the register when you are done. This place has a new management since summer 2021. The chef owns this place now. The guy is extremely rude and aggressive and food quality is going down. We have been a regular customer for 10 years, today as soon as I put down the take out food in my car, the entire car smelled like Spoiled Egg (EXPIRED MEAT)!!! I opened the windows to get rid of the smell and went to pickup my kids from high school. My kids would not get into the car due to the strong smell, so we kept the windows open in the cold and I immediately called the store. The owner agreed to exchange the food but despite his agreement; as soon as I got there (with a smile) he yelled & screamed at me and told me that "YOUR NOSE MUST BE STINKY!!) of course we got into an argument since he was yelling and insulting me. The wife was there with a 3-month old baby in her arms inside an industrial kitchen (safety issue for the baby - if someone calls Childrens Aid they will be in trouble)... I asked for refund he offered partial cash back saying I had paid with the card and he has to pay tax (even though he charges tax on cash payments also)... anyways I eventually got my money back and left. Do not get near this place. No customer service, No quality!!! read more

We have never are "at" the restaurant but have had plenty of take-outs. The food is ABSOLUTELY DELISCIOUS. It is authentic Persian cousine with outstanding taste. Try the Vaziri Kabob. It melts in your mouth and your left over will still taste fresh the next day. read more

Pars grill was not my prototypical Iranian food experience. The prices here are a little higher but the quality and portions more than make up the difference. I found the chicken was far more flavorful than any other joojeh I've had, melt in you mouth koobideh, and super fluffy rice.
