We ordered takeout from Pars Grill last week and found the meat to be a bit overdone, both for the Barq and the Shishkebob. The prices have certainly increased since last year, but it's difficult to blame the owners considering the skyrocketing cost of meat. The lady at the counter, however, was pleasant and friendly.

First time at this place as I never knew it existed although I live close to the area. The spot used to be a middle eastern restaurant few years back that didn't work out, but this one seems to be really busy which is great to see.. It only has three long rectangle tables and the restaurant only has 24 seats.. It was pretty full, and a-lot of take out orders, which is what I did.. Prices are a little high compared to other Persian restaurants in the area.. I ordered the Soultani Kabab and Vaziri kbab, and they were both good. I found their food to be a little watered down version of the authentic persian cuisine. Not a bad place at all!

Been a customer and a fan for about 15 years when they were still on Yonge. I believe the management/owners have changed a couple of times and the food and service has consistently stayed top notch. Hands down they are the best Persian sandwich restaurant in Toronto! I mean have you seen their burgers?! I don't think we have ever had anything bad there but our regular order is the burger, the tongue sandwich and chenjeh sandwich. They also serve full course soltani, koobideh and other Persian BBQ dishes but we mainly go there for their sandwiches. They do have a few tables but again we usually just get take out. Their prices have also stayed reasonable over the years Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Price: 4.5/5 Overall: 5/5

This restaurant is terrible. Waitresses are not professional, and it was freezing. They serve shallot yogurt that is garlic. For one day I had stomach pain and wasn't able to sleep during night. No quality and pricy. I don't recommend this restaurant at all.

My go-to is their Vaziri, though I've had it pretty much all at this point, and it never fails to surprise me with how perfect a representation of the dish it is.

When we arrived for dinner around 6:30 on a Saturday we were the only group in the restaurant for the longest time. (around 8 pm another group walked in). I am wondering if it gets busier later at night as they do have live music later in the evening (it was being set up as we were leaving) and it looks like they are also a shisha lounge. Menu has a good selection of kebabs, chicken, lamb and ground beef and a selection of stews. All the kebab combos come with rice, grilled tomatoes and pickled onions. We didn't see a huge offering of appetizers or desserts. The server was really helpful in answering any questions we had about the menu The kebabs were incredibly moist and flavourful, especially the ground beef. At the front of the restaurant there is a sign advertising a 19.99 special. The sign is not in English but from the picture it looks like a take out special. Interestingly enough the take out special is a better deal than if you ate in the restaurant. The meal came with a kebab meal, a stew and a side salad whereas the meal we ordered as sit down customers did not come with any of this. We enjoyed our meal as the food was really good and we absolutely did not feel rushed.

Having eleven guest we found the table seating very cramped still to the point that guest were elbowing each other, it would have been nice if the restuarant had another table allocated for us just for more space. I ordered the Dizi (Abgoosht). It came with a soup that was a bit greasy, yogurt, pickled sides and a stewed lamb. It was well cooked but I wish the food was seasoned a bit less. Some of the kabob ordered by another guest made of ground beef was an oversalted hamburger meat in shape of kabob...it was not impressive. With our large party I thought it would be interesting to comment the restaurant automatically applied 15% tip. I would give this another try but perhaps not as a big party. It's also interesting to note none of the servers were not Persian. Salamati!

Tip#1: Add a bit (or a lot!) of Sumac seasoning (dark red powder in the shaker bottle) onto your kebob meat. It has an almost sour fruity taste which really balances out and adds an unique edge to the meaty kabobs. Tip#2: You'll get small packets of butter that you're supposed to mix & melt into your rice. //APPETIZERS// We tried their Maast-e Saadeh (yogurt dip) with Persian flatbread, Zeitoon Parvardeh (olives), and the Kal Kabob (eggplant with ground walnut & pomergranate) which was my favourite and quite sour. //ENTREES// I tried the Kubideh and Jujeh (Chicken Breast) Kabob, which were both delicious and juicy. The Kabob-e-Torsh veal sirloin meat was too tough, while the the pomegranate walnut molasses was interesting to try, know that it's quite sour too! I also substituted the rice for the salad which was too overdressed with vinaigrette. //DESSERT// My ABSOLUTE favourite thing we had was the Saffron Rosewater Ice Cream. It's beautifully plated and has the perfect balance of creamy, floral, and sweet flavours with crunchy pistachio & pomergranate seeds. I would come back to Sheherzade literally just to have that amazing Saffron Rosewater Ice Cream again & again!
