I've visited this Halal restaurant a few times for lunch. The renovation is elegant, and it's…read moreusually not full even on weekends. If you plan to visit at least a couple of times a year, the annual membership is worth it for the food discount. Dishes we've tried so far: Lamb skewers - Premium cut, very flavourful. Grilled sea bass with vegetables - The fish is grilled first, then served hot-pot style with tofu, fried tofu puffs, black fungus, and leafy greens. A nutritious, well-rounded dish, and the frozen fish still tastes fresh. Sweet and sour chicken - Decent. Cold cabbage appetizer in sesame sauce - Perfectly seasoned, with just the right level of sweetness. Fried beef cut - Mediocre; the beef was a bit too chewy. "Water" boiled spicy fish - A large dish great for groups, served with about 5 pounds of basa fish. Hit my expectation of the dish but very filling with a lot of oil. Beef buns/rolls - Mediocre and quite dry. Overall, the food here offers great value -- just a bit pricier than food court fare, but with mid-tier restaurant quality. Portions are generous, and I always leave full. I'd happily come back when I'm in the area.

This restaurant is a lot of hit or miss things. But mostly I find if you try to order things that…read moreare not quite part of its regional cuisine that they cover. The one dish you must get here is the lamb skewers. They are one of the few places left still doing authentic versions of the fish where you slow roasted it over coal BBQ. A lot of places now cheap out and deep fry it. Which is not the same. This one keeps that good thick cut and does it right. The other dishes are also very spice oriented as you can see. And overall food is decent. The problem sometimes is they try to please everyone and add a few Cantonese dishes there. Those I would avoid. Just stick with the cuisine you came here for initially. I would recommend worth a try and it can get really packed. So be prepared for a wait cause the service staff is a hot or miss experience

We were craving Indian food and thought we'd give this place a try…read more We only took out so can't comment on the service/ambiance. The food arrived super hot and fresh and everything looked delicious. The naan was large and fluffy and the rice was nice and fragrant. Portion sizes were also not bad, although the meat pieces in the chicken dishes were quite sparse for the price. The food was a disappointment, unfortunately. It was SO salty. Like almost inedibly so. All three dishes, the butter chicken, chicken labadar and the palak paneer were so so salty, and I am typically a fan of salty food. Even food others find salty I can enjoy but this was too much. I'm not sure if it was the chef on duty that night or if it was a mistake but we were disappointed. The flavours seemed good other than the salt but we were reaching for water constantly. With the influx of Indian restaurants in Newmarket, I hope this was an off day but I will likely be trying other restaurants in the future. Our bill was around $80 for three dishes, rice and naan so we fill that it was not worth it both for value and quality.

She welcomed us and we asked if we could sit in a booth, she said , you have yo pay extra charge, which blew my mind . We had never heard that before . That put us off but we sat down ordered the food . We ordered chilli chicken, it was good but there was no sauce absolutely dry and very small serving . Hardly sufficient for one person . The shahi paneer was good and we ordered plain rice and plain fresh nan . It's a clean place but these restrictions of sitting should not be applied. It puts customers off . The menu is super long too much to choose from , it's kind of confusing .

These guys are slinging pizzas day in and day out and the quality stands, 10 out of 10, every. single. time. With classic Neopolitan styles and some styles having a creative twist, you're guaranteed to fix your craving for pizza at this place. Bravo "90 Second Pizza"! Sei il miglioré!!!

90 second pizza is a good neopolitan pizza place. The pizza is cooked in a fire oven (I see wood at…read morethe bottom but it may be decorative) & has a light crust with a floppy base & puffy edge. The dough is fermented for 72 hours. It's affordable too. What's there not to like? Well, there's no pork here & this is as likely to change as the TTC subway coming up to Newmarket. Pepperoni pizza had beef pepperoni, with an inferior taste to pork, being chewy & slightly spongy. The tomato sauce & cheese were good though. Also made my own pizza with pesto, mozzarella, mild salami, fennel sausage, anchovies & beef Ham (the sausage are the small circles, salami the big circles & beef ham the darker ovals). The beef toppings were serviceable (still not as good as the pork versions), possibly because this pizza had more going on than the pepperoni one, but did not stand out. Pesto sauce was decent, though the flavour was milder than I was expecting, making it closer to an olive oil base. The whole combination with anchovies was too salty, but that's on me.
