It included lamb and chicken as well as onions, peppers, mushrooms, pita bites, carrots and raisins as toppings. And of course your selection of white sauce, hot sauce or BBQ sauce. You can pick choose which you'd like taken off your order also. The food came out within 5 minutes of ordering and it came out piping hot, freshly made. I like this place. It's crazy crowded, very ethnically diverse, great tasting food and a total experience. I smelled awful coming out of there (in my opinion) because the onion, and other spices in the air stick like crazy glue. They do a bang up take out, yet to use their website to get any look at the menu or place an order has led me to going elsewhere for dinner on a few occasions due to its unusability. If I had the time to order and wait for takeout I would definitely do that. I am a former restaurant owner and chef. I know good food and what food should taste like. Unfortunately this was not the case at Kabob Paradise. I don't know where they get the paradise because it was far from it! My son, daughter in law and myself all picked up meals to go. When I first tasted mine I felt like I was eating off the walls of a salt mine! The Kabob platter had so much sodium, I couldn't even eat it. If you are on a low salt diet, stay away, So I thought I would try some of the food anyway and try to not think about all the salt. Well, the food had an awful taste, sort of like eating something where someone put in all the wrong spices. So there were two strikes . One was the unbelievably high amount of salt, and the second strike was the flavor of the food itself, my son and daughter in law could not eat their meals either, Between the salt and the flavor, all three meals went into the garbage. I can't figure out how people eat this food. Maybe there are used to it and expect the sodium and the strange flavors. I guess you can get used to anything. My recommendation is to STAY AWAY, especially if you are on a salt restricted diet. Through all of this, there is one positive note. I came in from NYC to visit my dad, and he took me to Kabob Paradise for lunch today. He's been a couple of times, and he was very complimentary of it. I ordered a chicken kabob platter and he ordered a lamb salad. Both were delicious! And nice sized portions too. This was definitely as good as the afghan / Mediterranean food that I've grown accustomed to in NYC. The reason for 5 stars here is the ownership/staff here could not be any nicer and more welcoming! Kabab Paradise does halal right. I have frequented their Parsippany location more times than I can count & every single time has been incredible. Far superior compared to the halal I've had ANYWHERE in NJ or NYC. Everyone I've ever taken to KP has raved about the food & quickly incorporated it into their cycle of places to dine at or take out from. Friends and family from out of town demand we go while they visit. Their new Randolph location lives up to the hype. I recently moved further from Parsippany but have still been there quite a bit and was ecstatic to learn they've opened a new location closer. Opening week is typically troublesome for restaurants but not here. This place simply has the best food you'll ever have. I'm a very picky eater and usually only eat Italian or american and I LOVE this restaurant. I was ordering gyros for a while and now I love to get the chicken gyro platter. The white sauce is unlike anything I've ever had. I save it and put it on everything and we also ask for the heaven sauce. I do have to say the heaven sauce seems spicer lately but I love it. Aside from the food, the employees are super nice and have done a fabulous job making sure the food and experience is consistent with their other location in Parsippany.
