Beef Beef Degh Biryani

By far the best Pakistani food I've ever had. Everything is freshly made and bursting with flavor. You can actually see the daily specials arriving in daigs, and they sell out quickly--which says it all. The biryani, nihari, paaye, pulao, white chicken, halwa poori, kulcha, fresh naan, and so much more have never once disappointed us. Honestly, it feels like we visit Georgia just for the chance to eat at Kabab King.

Malai Boti

We went there on a Friday night - it was 8 of us so we ordered a bunch of entrees. Our favorite was the malai chicken, the biryani, Haleem and the chicken tikka masala. The naan was very bland - didn't even taste like it. Afterwards we had shaved ice which was amazing as always. The entire staff was very friendly and the food overall was worth returning there.

Indulging in the fiery flavors of Pakistan, one plate of spicy chicken karahi and goat biryani at a time in Atlanta. First time I been here, because I really miss their food. I ate their food before when my family picked up food from here to go. We ate at home. It's not a fancy restaurant but their food is more local and really tasty . Chicken Karahi ,Goat Karahi,Goat Biryani, Lamb Kababs are my favorite.

Kabab King is really a nice, clean and spacious restaurant that serves delicious food everyday. Amazing, authentic Pakistani food with huge and large portions of meal servings with good quality and tasty. I ordered Beef Daigh Biryani, Chicken White Karahi Curry and Goat Paya Curry/Soup to go. Most of these items were the weekend specials. All the dishes were absolutely amazing and yummy. The flavor, aroma, quantity, tenderness of meat, balance of spices are just right on spot. Really very nice staff and a very kind, happy owner and very friendly. The prices are very reasonable and affordable. The restaurant is always running on full capacity so the food is always fresh, Naan bread melts in your mouth. The only compliant I have here is they need to be more quick in serving, they were taking too long to serve the food. They have enough staff but need to be little more organized. And a very important upgrade they need to make is the cooks need to wear hair net while cooking and serving. If they can do these few things, and maintain their quality and quantity, they'll be the very best in town. The owner Qamer Khan always makes himself accessible to customers and lives to serve customers himself. This place is just next to Global Mall in a shopping plaza, so the parking is free and ample. I will highly recommend this place. If you are in and around the area please go and try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed. From their Website: "Kabab King specialize in cooking best Pakistani and Indian cuisine with authentic flavors which connects back to ours roots. We keep our focus always on customer to offer fresh, enrich with flavor food. Our chef's make sure the taste remain consistent always."

Beef Nihari, Combination kababs, Daal

The nihari and daal here is amazing with their naan. But I would definitely pass on their kababs- very dry and bland. We also asked for a combination plate of kababs and got a stingy two pieces of beef and a huge remaining plate of chicken.

I was once told that if you see a lot of people from that restaurants nationality, than you know it's authentic. The place looked a bit messy with large trash backs in random places in the restaurant but, it was packed when we came in so we took it as a good sign for good food. You have to order before being able to sit down and you will have a number handed to you so they know where to find you. Guy taking the orders didn't seem in the mood for our questions on what the dishes had and seemed a bit annoyed so we felt skeptical again but sat down. The food arrived in disposable plates and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. We had the kabab roll and biryani and loved it. There's no refill on drinks, you just go and get another canned soda at the register or ask for a pitcher of water. The gentleman that brought our food and Cleaned our table was super sweet but I think for future outings there, I'll get food to go.

Uugggghhhh, not the King! Ambiance and cleanliness screamed run away even for take out but my growling belly got the best of me. I've never had gray colored Chana Masala and it was literally inedible. Samosas and naan might be safe but everything else left me sick. Never ever again

Chicken Kabab

Kabab king is a unique Indian / pakistani restaurant in town because they make everything fresh as evidenced by their fresh pot of biryani and kabobs being freshly grilled. If you come here definitely get a biryani, get some kabobs and be sure to try the fish. This fish is deep fried and covered in chaat masala to give it a crispy consistency with a nice spicy/ flavorful flavor.

Naan, Beef Degh Haleem, chicken 69
Khalida B.

First time in the area and chose this restaurant because of the ease of menu. The menu online showed pictures which were very helpful. We're a family of 4 and ordering haleem was more than enough. It was spicy but not so much with added cilantro and lemon. Naan did not come with the meal. Chicken 69 was suggested for kids. It did have some spice. Veggie samosa was crispy and tasty. We highly enjoyed the haleem and I would suggest ordering more than 2 naan. Portions were large enough for a family of 4. The mango lassi was thick and delicious. Unfortunately, hospitality was poor. We weren't greeted at the counter. No hello or anything. The bathroom was poorly kept. The cleaner tried his best to keep all tables clean but it wasn't enough and seating wasn't always in place. The design of the restaurant was nice though. Next time I would order for pickup instead of dining in. Great food though.

The vegetarian buffet is $12.99, while the regular buffet is $16.50, making it a great value for the variety offered. One of the highlights was the complimentary naan--soft, buttery, and fresh. The buffet featured a delicious spread, including butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, biryani, palak paneer, chana masala, samosas, and even curry goat. There was also a fresh salad bar and hot chai tea to round out the meal. The service was great, and the ambiance felt warm and authentic, which made the experience even more enjoyable. My only small critique is that I wish they had ice available for the beverages. Other than that, everything was wonderful. The food was flavorful and satisfying without leaving me feeling overly stuffed. The hot chai tea was the perfect finishing touch. I'm already looking forward to visiting again.

You could tell it had been sitting for a while. The Punjabi Khadi had one small pakora left and a whole lot of sauce. I still enjoyed it. The dishes were a bit too oily for my liking. It was good for a one meal of the day and nothing else before it in the day and nothing again until tomorrow. The service was great. The gentleman had water for me and a nice serving of fresh naan waiting for me before I even sat down. He was quick to clear dirty dishes. I've never been to Global Mall before but enjoyed a stroll after my meal.

We stopped by Amul Veg Restaurant for a mid-afternoon snack while shopping at Global Mall. The food…read moreand drink were tasty. Based on that, I wouldn't mind coming back and trying more of the menu. This place might actually have five-star potential when it comes to Indian snacks and street food in metro Atlanta -- the menu offerings and pictures look promising. We had Pani Puri (eight pieces for $7.99) and a Mango Lassi ($3.99). Both were delicious. Panipuri are deep-fried, hollowed-out balls filled with potatoes, chickpeas, and spices, and you add a side of flavored water yourself; in this case, green mint water. I think maybe there was some coriander in there too. I'm not sure. There was also a dark red/brown spicy sauce (legit spicy), from a squeeze bottle at the food cart. I think it had tamarind in it. The Mango Lassi tasted fresh. It was cold, sweet, creamy, and refreshing. My wife thinks it was pre-made and had been sitting in a fridge ready to go. Either way, it was good. Amul Veg Restaurant's menu features several different kinds of Indian apps and chaat (savory snacks), Indian pizza, pav bhaji and sandwiches, and more. I love pav bhaji and would like to try their version if we return. Amul Veg Restaurant is located inside Global Mall, an Indian shopping mall in Norcross / Gwinnett County, just off I-85 exit 99 (Jimmy Carter Blvd). The restaurant is on the second floor, next to the food court. Unlike the food court stalls/counters that share common-area seating, Amul Veg Restaurant has its own space with dedicated seating. We sat in one of the dining room booths. This is a small, simple, clean, brightly-lit, casual eatery that has a similar look and feel to a fast-food restaurant. When we entered around 3:40pm on a Sunday, it was just my wife and me and one other diner. By the time we left, by 4:00pm, it was busier with at least four other small parties dining in or waiting for their to-go orders. Service was fine. Amul Veg Restaurant opened in 2021.

I must admit to being pleasantly surprised - sure this isn't the best Indian, but nor is it the worst I've ever had - the flavors seemed fairly "right on" to me. Nothing was over-the-top in heat and they offered both goat and chicken. My only disappointment was in the general warmth of several of the dishes but I wasn't really surprised due to they're being in a buffet table. The hotel pan of naan bread was abysmal - dried out and cold, however we were offered fresh so I won't count that against the place. The server also greeted us at the door and I have a feeling it may have been the owner. There's a giant fish tank in the center of the room that would have added to an otherwise plain interior, if it wasn't for the annoying child standing in front of it talking to herself regarding pretty much everything in the tank. I got to hear all as she was standing right behind me. I really don't understand this trend of parents allowing their children to run around unsupervised but that's a different issue. I won't go to much into the food itself other than to note the tandoori chicken was right on, the chicken tika masala was really good, the fried veggies cold and the biryani not worth eating. But this being a buffet there was still plenty to sample and there wasn't anything there that was worse than my expectations - actually the tika was above average I thought. So the real standout and reason for a return trip is the price - $7.99 for an evening Indian buffet! For that price I can put up with a few inferior items - heck they serve liquor too.
