Ive been looking for a good Indian restaurant in Delaware for quite some time and recently was recommended to try Kebab and Curry and have decided it was a great recommendation! I've now eaten here a few times and every time it's been quality, delicious food! Want a wonderful appetizer? Try the Aloo Tikki with a side of mango chutney! Want a great meal? Try the chicken korma or lamb korma or butter chicken! Also the naan is just perfect! I've only had plain naan so far but they also have a wide variety of other flavors that I am looking forward to trying in the future. I will be going back so hope to see you there! read more

Finally, we have found an amazing Indian restaurant in the area. We ordered takeout the other night and it was absolutely delicious. They give you generous portions and the prices are very reasonable. I had the chana masala which was delicious but a little spicy. My husband had the chicken tikka masala. I do not eat chicken but I couldn't get enough of that sauce. We shared the garlic naan and raita. We ordered two of the raita thinking It would be tiny but they were good size containers. For such a hot day, it was a refreshing appetizer. I also used this yogurt sauce to dip my chana masala in. The only fail which was my own was the kuckumber. I was expecting what I had gotten at another restaurant which was more of a salad. For $1.95 I didn't think it was going to be huge but it was a tiny little container which I actually thought was a condiment. We called the restaurant and thought they had forgotten it but they described it exactly to me. It was in there. Our bad! We will definitely order food from here again and probably eat in. Whenever we travel we try to find an Indian restaurant and those restaurants have been amazing. We finally have one down the street from where we live. YAY! read more

Finally opened, but only for take-out as of this writing. I had the Chicken Tikka Masada, came with a side of rice (I had the medium spiced rice). Also ordered a serving of naan. Everything was delicious and a generous portion. I can't comment on authenticity, as I'm not of Indian ancestry, however, the flavors of the dish and the textures were enjoyable. The service was extremely helpful and friendly to the point of feeling in a welcoming family. We've ordered large trays of Indian appetizers like chili chicken, chicken 65, samosas, and vegetarian pakoras for the past few years. They have continuously served dishes with the proper spice level requested and been very patient with us as we navigated what to order. In terms of the food, the chicken dishes are both so juicy and packed with immense flavor. Meanwhile, the samosas have perfected the balance of a crunchy outside layer with the burst of flavor awaiting inside. We recently tried the vegetarian pakoras; the flavor and portion size have secured their spot in our future orders. We also appreciate how this restaurant captures the unique North Indian flavors, compared to many South Indian restaurants in the area. We've been to this restaurant twice within the last fortnight. The first time was to try it out & we came back for Mothers Day because we liked it so much. The owner sure knows her North Indian cuisine. Place is tastefully decorated in simple & elegant style with simple subtle nuances of the country & culture. Ambience is soothing and the staff is attentive without being intrusive. The kitchen is well staffed & the menu has a good variety of dishes to suit different palettes. It's wise of the server to always ask about the spice level preferred by the customer so that food can be enjoyed fully. Being an immigrant from India & a decent cook myself I can honestly say that though I'll always prefer home cooked Indian meals, this is one place I would gladly bring family & friends to dine out, without concern. My co-workers raved about it - they were literally beaming when they returned from lunch. I got take out for dinner yesterday. Service was efficient, professional, and warm. My husband and I were delighted with the food. Three vegetarian samosas were generously filled and the side sauces were very good. The texture and flavors of the Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Vindaloo are rich and deep. Having leftovers for lunch as I type this. One reviewer mentioned blandness of the rice. That is true, but I wonder if that is an Indian regional thing. I would not have noticed it if the reviewer hadn't called attention to it. I had the worst experience of all times. We got to the restaurant at 2:10 PM after checking timings on the restaurant website as well as yelp and after calling the restaurant. We were passing through the area and wanted a quick bite, so ordered the food ahead of time for pickup and paid online. When we arrived, the owner refused to seat us even though the restaurant does not close for another 50 mins and our order was almost ready. We requested the owner if we could eat the food there since we were not close from home. We ordered food to go only to save time. The owner said that they were closed for dine in. We said that is not the information we saw on the website. He started getting loud and yelling and arguing. The owner was so rude. He does not know to talk to customers. It ended up with him cursing us out and we leaving without our food. No amount of money is worth the insult hurled at us. Never in my dreams could I ever imagine this happening to us. My friend and I I tried this restaurant tonight on a whim. The restaurant is cozy and clean. We were greeted promptly and offered our choice of seats as we were very early for dinner. I am glad we did arrive early, because the dining room quickly filled up. Our server brought us water and menus. We tried the tandoori chicken and the chicken korma and the naan bread. Everything was delicious! The tandoori chicken arrived on a sizzling platter on a bed of onions and peppers, garnished with a lemon wedge. It was a very generous portion and the bone-in chicken was fragrant, juicy and tender. They asked what spice level I preferred and I was given just what I requested. The mint and tamarind sauces were a tasty accompaniment and together with the fresh naan and basmati rice made for a very enjoyable meal. The chicken korma was requested at a mild spice level, and the kitchen delivered that. The tender chicken and creamy sauce were delicious with the basmati rice. Our waiter checked on us a couple times during our meal, and offered my dining companion some extra rice to bring home so she could enjoy her leftover korma. I took home my extra chicken, rice, and naan, and it never made it to the fridge. My son ate everything and wants to come for lunch tomorrow. We were too full for dessert but next time I hope to try the gulab jamun or a kulfi. We will be back soon. read more

We ate here last week. Ordered a lamb biryani, specifically asked for mild. But, it turned out to be very spicy. I was sweating right away, could not taste anything with such an overwhelming spice level. I asked the host what could have gone wrong. He said nothing was wrong, that the biryanis are pre made and they cannot adjust the spice level. Why wasn't I told that at the time of order. I told them I couldn't eat it. The host was curt. He said they could get me something else but it would be another 45 mins as they were busy. My stomach seemed to be too irritated from all the hot spices to try something else and I didn't want to wait that long after waiting for 40 minutes for our order in the first place. My girlfriend didn't like her dish either (Chicken tikka masala -- it was nothing but a bowl of heavy cream, no flavor, just colors, so heavy). We left after barely taking a bite from each of our orders. Paid around $50 for nothing. Most restaurants the host would feel bad if a guest had such an experience. Many wouldn't even take money. Not here. Very poor food quality, rude staff, not a good place. read more
