Very disappointing and concerning experience. We were told we had to buy bottled water because they didn't have clean drinking water. When we asked what water they use for cooking, the owner's exact words were, "We use a mixture of dirty and clean water," followed by an explanation that it's okay because the water gets boiled. We were shocked hearing this, especially while dining with our kids. The kids' Lo Mein was extremely bitter with lots of burnt garlic and barely edible. When we complained, the owner responded, "Oh, you want money back?" We asked instead if he could remake it or offer something else, but he said they were out of noodles. He did remove the noodles from our bill. He then said, "You should have told us earlier." But told whom? The front desk was empty and no one was available to speak with during our meal. Food can go wrong, but the combination of the water explanation, poor food, lack of service, and dismissive attitude made this a very unpleasant experience. We will not be returning. read more

Food is fresh, hot and flavorful. Service is decent. The decor is minimal but decent and seating is comfortable. The restroom was clean, which is a fairly good indicator of how everything else is looked after especially when it comes to food. The chole bhature were outstanding and plentiful. The Bihari kebab was just as good. The only minor complaint I had was that they don't have the option to request a plain salty lassi which I think would make a great summer addition. The mango lassi was just the way I like it, perfect. Please note that they only have bottled water. The parking is either on the street or near by lots. They park there Van in front of the restaurant so location is fairly easy to locate. read more

My younger daughter commanded five stars for this review, and five stars it is! My kids and their cousins were enjoying an epic weekend at Great Wolf Lodge with parents and grandpa and wanted Indian food. Greater than half of us are of Indian descent so we'd like to think this is a family that knows their Indian food. The butter chicken stole the show - our Delaware peeps said they are swapping their usual restaurant for this one, with this dish having somewhat of a unique sweetness from perhaps mango?! I liked my chole even though I would not have normally picked it (malai kofta is my go-to) - fair warning that you do not need naan since this one comes with it's own fried bread. Mussels were a winner for my older daughter. Tandoori chicken was a hit at our table and another. I also loved the pain puri - not every place has this sweet and savory blend of "rice krispie" snack with Indian spices, tamarind sauce and fresh tomatoes, and this one lived up to my expectations. Space is informal enough that you can have a spirited family take over 2 tables and it will blend nicely with the pop/Bollywood music and super cool murals. dont order goat. First of all it will be not cooked properly. Second if you ask the chef his response would be, we get the goat like that only. you should have ordered lamb instead. its their responsibility to get a good meat and not blaming the customer for ordering something from the menu. The menu is diverse and has something for everyone but I love it because of its excellence in serving up Indian food! Dining in or taking out is a good option. My coworker is a big fan of Indian cuisine and I had mentioned there was a new spot in downtown of Elkton. So we agreed to give this place a try. We both opted for their Chicken Tikka Masala Lunch Special and Mixed Pakora as appetizer. Nice platter of the main entree, with rice, good portion of nan bread, and side salad. I don't know why we both had our minds set up for disappointment, but everything was delicious and filling. I hope this place is here to stay and I will be back. read more

Wow! Recently went to another Indian restaurant and got butter chicken and this place went out of the park!! It was amazingly good! Also got lamb tikka Masala, chicken curry, garlic naan and egg fried rice. The butter chicken was #1 lamb tikka #2 the chicken curry #3. Garlic naan obviously delicious and the egg fried rice was ok. Ordered for delivery so I can't say about the dinning or experience but that they make delicious food! Will definitely come back again. Well done on the butter chicken!! read more

Our friend has taken chef courses overseas, is a great cook & has eaten Indian food in India, UK, the states etc & he's impressed with this place. We can order spicy, mild & it's perfectly seasoned. I got rice and chicken and it was only 3 small pieces of chicken in it. My husband got the shrimp and rice and it only had 4 pieces of shrimp in it. We also got fish bites that was really dry. We paid $60 for all the above and it definitely wasn't worth it at all. We basically paid for rice. We usually go the Indian restaurant in Glasgow Delaware, their food is amazing. I've eaten here 3 times since they opened and have had wonderful meals each time. The menu has a good variety of dishes, and the staff are very friendly. The meals are not too pricey for the portion sizes. I've had enough leftovers to have a second meal each time. I will definitely be returning. read more
