Keeping in mind that I live in California where we get multiple dueling boba shops within the same…read moreplaza, Tea Time was passable. (I really am spoiled by the high quality tea shops in my home state.) I usually get my first drink at a place at whatever the recommended sweetness level is to get a feel for the baseline sweetness level, and Tea Time is sweeter than I am used to, but they do offer sweetness adjustment, so that's just something to keep in mind. I wasn't in a fruity mood, so I got the toasted brown sugar milk tea, and it really just tasted like a normal milk tea to me (but with extra sugar)? The molasses-y flavor of brown sugar was barely there, even at the recommended sweetness level, and I felt the boba was a little over-done and slightly mushy, but it may have been an off day since it was a weekday in a colder season and the shop didn't have many visitors while we were there drinking our tea--higher turnover usually means fresher boba in any boba shop. Overall, a reasonable boba shop if you need to satisfy the craving while in the area. Since I visit Rochester annually to see my husband's family, I figure I will be back again some other year, and I look forward to seeing the Rochester boba scene grow.

I tried my usual default Jasmine Milk Tea w/ tapioca (confirmed it was lactose free). The drink was light but still milky, didn't taste too watery. Had a strong jasmine flavor and a mild tea bitter aftertaste. The tapioca was soft but chewy and didn't harden up. Excited to try their other flavor next time!

The hype is real about the egg rolls! SO good and crispy and delicious. My friends and I tried the…read morepork ones and we all loved them. It was definitely my favorite out of everything we ordered. We also shared the veggie stir fry (medium spicy), green curry with chicken, veggie pad lad nad, chicken leg quarter, and whole tilapia. The standouts were the veggie stir fry and green curry. They were so flavorful and perfectly seasoned, great over sticky rice. I also love that the rice was served in cute baskets. The tilapia was a little disappointing but I'm glad I tried it. I also ordered the Naab Vaam drink and I loved it! Not overly sweet and very refreshing. I could tell that the place was a bit understaffed that day but overall everyone was friendly. No outdoor seating but plenty of indoor seating. I'd come back again for Hmong's golden pork egg rolls!

My sister took me to her favorite Hmong place and I was not disappointed! We got spring rolls and…read moreegg rolls, both with pork. They tasted great, I loved. the dipping sauces, but the pork was just very very thin strips, can't say I really noticed it, but both were tasty. The egg rolls were different than I've ever had in that they were long and thin - think I prefer them this way. They came out crispy and very hot to the table. We shared the fried chicken leg, which was the drumstick and the thigh, with sticky rice. I loved how they cut it into four pieces and how crispy the skin was. For dessert I had their special drink/dessert the Nab Vam. It is a "tapioca dessert drink filled with colorful jellies, crunchy water chestnuts, chewy pearls, lightly sweet with creamy coconut". It was not only beautiful, but delicious. Service was quick, and it's a bright, airy place, and I definitely would go back again.

Service: fast & friendly Food: DELICIOUS…read more Ambience: laid back, casual, inviting My first time dining here and was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem! The sign on the door is easy to see. It's a shared building with some sort of plant store I believe. If you walk straight back you will see another sign with their business name on it. It looks very cute. Upon walking in, I could tell it was very hidden to most people. There are only a few tables so it felt like a very casual space to dine at, which is perfect for someone who might prefer a dining experience that isn't super busy and packed! We ordered and the food came out pretty quick. Everything looked delicious and tasted as good as it looked. The owner was very nice and took very good care of us. After dining my sister tried pouring her pho in a to-go container and spilled a bit of the broth on the table by accident and he came right over and offered to take care of it and cleaned it right up. Then he helped us get our containers into bags before heading out. I definitely think everyone should check this place out and give it a shot. Oh & the iced chai tea with boba pearls was very good as well. I didn't ask if the had different size drinks but if they don't, maybe larger cups would be nice for people that get through their drinks fast! I do believe they keep that in mind though considering they have a cute water station off to the side :) very thoughtful. We also ordered their summer rolls that came with peanut sauce, that was good as well. Good size and a good appetizer to split. The portion sizes for the pho is huge. Definitely worth the cost considering it fills my entire to-go container and my sisters as well! Can't wait to try more and show the rest of my family & friends this spot Another thing! The register was having some issues with the connection failing so maybe bringing some cash would be a good idea just in case, the owner got it figured out but as someone who has worked in food service before, it is always nice to have the option to take cash when there are technical difficulties! :) don't forget to tip for their great service and hospitality

Service was quick. The summer rolls were fresh and the peanut sauce although a bit different still savory. Never had pork skins in my pho and I loved the texture and flavor it provided. The broth was flavorful, I loved the assortment of sauces they had available for you to add. It was also a clean location. I need to come back and have a Banh Mi.
