I came after I picked my son up from his after care program and there was no employee in sight for about 15 minutes. We ended up just grabbing clubs and doing putt putt. At the end there was a teenager who came out when we had gone through probably 8-9 holes and he said "Excuse me, who checked you out?" And I said "No one. No one was here and we weren't gonna wait all night." He was like "I am the manager on shift and that's not true." Clearly trying to not be in trouble. It was absolutely inappropriate the way he treated everyone in there. I don't know what they were doing that whole time but the lack of responsibility they took for not being present where they needed to be was ridiculous. I will call back later and speak to the general manager and pay for the round we did but in my opinion, the kid working should be fired. The cash register was left unmanned, plus all the merchandise, the main door open, the self service card reader wasn't working, there was zero attention to customers. I work with high school students and 98% of them would be more responsible than this. It was completely unprofessional!

Impromptu mini putt putt date in Denver was a great move. Puttshack was walking distance from a…read morebeer garden we went to. A huge thing that sets this indoor mini golf a part from others is their technology. There's a chip inside the golf balls. each person has a turn until they get their ball in the hole. Unlike regular golf, the more points you get here, the better. There are also opportunities for bonus points which helped me win my round. The prices are reasonable as well. We played a 9 hole course for $14 each. There are several courses too. You can expect security guards outside checking ID's because this is a 21+ spot. There are a couple of bars inside along with a restaurant. Can't comment on food because we just golfed and had a good time. Lots of places to lounge! great spot for date night or a day out with friends.

It took us a little longer than 30 minutes to get through 9 holes, but for $14 a game it was nice to get a taste of what it was like. I would absolutely return, and plan to take advantage of their $25 play all day deal, and also their happy hour. This is not your usual putt putt place. Everything is electronic, and your ball has a microchip in it, so it tracks your score. This was awesome for me, as sometimes it didn't record my strokes and gave me a slight advantage, although I still lost. There are screens that tell you what to do, and hazards or super tubes that if you have decent aim, can benefit you greatly. Our favorite was the pac man and Tetris themed holes. They also had a skeeball hole that was fun as well. This is great for a date night- I will be back for sure!

I'd only done VR once in Indiana (LOVED the experience) so I was nervous about trying somewhere new. While going through the booking processed, I called to ask if my partner and I could share one VR station, and they were totally fine with this. Made sense once I got there, but it wasn't clear on the website. Overall the booking process and check-in was seamless. Plenty of parking in this shopping center. It wasn't very busy when we walked in. Kaboom seemed to be populated by lots of regulars using it as a cyber cafe (feels like high school) but we were greetly warmly and given a quick and thorough orientation. The variety of games was just okay, but honestly as long as a VR system has an escape room, I'm pretty happy. The VR headsets were corded and the ceilings were relatively low, both of which contributed to my feeling claustrophobic, but I like how each station is sectioned off. There are also couches where you can sit and watch your friend's experience on small TVs mounted next to their station. Minus how stressful immersive escape rooms can be, it was a fun and chill time. I'd love to come here with more people and make a party out of it... nerds unite!

Both of us had done VR before, but here you are given a room and can pick from many different games and experiences. It was a ton of fun, and not that expensive. We really enjoyed Job Simulator and Beat Saber. Check this place out!
