My definition of a day is 24 hours. I dropped my two Great Danes off at 5 PM and picked up less than 24 hours later. I was charged $150. I asked if it was ever possible to be charged for a single day at all- they responded that only for "Doggie Day Care" is it possible for a dog to secure a one-day price. So, hypothetically speaking, if you dropped your dog off at 11:59 PM and picked up at 12:01 AM, they would call that "2 days." Called two other kennels before writing this review to make sure that wasn't industry standard. They said it was ridiculous. 2) I asked if they provided bedding, and they said they did. They knew I was boarding 2 Great Danes together in one kennel. They provided one raised bed for a medium sized dog. Would've been simple for me to provide my own had they just told me that. 3) They are open for two 2-hour windows per day, so plan carefully for pickup and drop off. I'm hoping that means "open-to-public" and they attend to the dogs more frequently then that, but I wouldn't put any bets down. Also, they told me a cash price over the phone that was not offered to me in person when I picked up. Not that I had the right amount on me anyway. I assumed, like a normal person would assume, that less than 24 hours fell in the "one day" pricing range. It's a shame. This kennel is near my house and I was looking forward to using them in the future. Nope.

This is in a separate little building right next to the house. They get indoor and outdoor time. This way everyone's furry family member can be safe and also get some run time in. I wasn't looking for anything fancy like those kennels with "spa times". I was looking for something affordable, safe, and fun for my dog. This seemed like a good fit and my dog had a blast. She slept for about a week and a half after I brought her home from her two week stay. They are great at managing all types of dog personalities and are transparent about the facilities. The building itself is just so lovely, and well kept. The cat's each have their own "cat condo" which is a tall space with a fenced door that has a kitty bench in each one as well as a window ledge, each with a nice cosy blanket, and a box with a cat bed under the bench and a little litter pan on the floor. In fact when I brought my cat, she treated him to a nice cat nip mouse to help put him at ease because he got scared at being in a strange place. The spaces aren't huge but they are a thousand times better than the typical cage in a vet's office. And a cage at the vets or any other boarding place I've every seen certainl did not have a window for every cat, with their own ledge to sit upon! There are bigger ones for those that wish to board more than one cat in a single cage. They also let each cat out for a bit, one at a time to give them a chance to roam, check things out and stretch their legs. The owner was a very nice woman, who obviously works very hard keeping up the place, along with her family. Price's are not bad either, I believe it's about $18/day, I can't remember exactly how much because then tax came in, but for a little over a week it was around $150 and change.
