I always do recommend this spot. They are a friendly staff that I feel good about handling my fur babies.. Elivia takes care of my older one(s) with anxiety and does a lovely job. I moved to Milford PA and still come here for their grooming, even when it's just a drop in for nails. read more

Make me pretty grooming is the only place I will ever bring my dogs ! I highly recommend Olivia, she does an amazing job on my large golden doodles. They go in looking like dirty pigs and come out looking like a show dogs read more

If I could give a place 0 stars I would. Here is a before and after. This is my GERMAN SHEPHERD that they shaved completely. The lady called and asked if they could CUT her back legs because it was knotted, told her absolutely (as they have done this before with no problem) they never called and asked me if they could shave her. I call the next day and she tells me on the phone that it was all one piece. And that bathing her was taking too long, I'm sorry we're paying you to groom the dog, I don't care how long it takes, then proceeds to say that she's "never shaved a German before" so why did she shave mine? Absolutely disgusted and appalled. Save yourself the trouble and take your dog somewhere else because they did her so dirty. I'm sorry is she a poodle??? WHO DOES THIS??? I am LIVID. read more

I realize that I am not a dog groomer, but I was severely devastated when I came to pick my dog up. i understand that my puppy is young and she has only been groomed twice. I asked for her not to be shaved and do the best she can. Even said cut half just don't shave her. had her there for 6 hours and this was the best they could do. wish I could show you how she ended up. I was in complete shock. I would have rather them call me and say it couldn't be done and just gave her a bath. She's literally bald except on her legs. big chunk missing from the top of her head. i Couldn't fathom doing this to a dog. read more

I consider my daughters yorkie my grandchild, she brought here to make me pretty grooming and I can't believe what they did to this puppy...... they should be ashamed calling themselves a grooming facility.......this poor pup is scalped in places to the point of pink showing!! I would never recommend this place read more

place should go out of business , they have no knowledge in what it means to cut a dogs coat! it's not hair. A sad day , needs to close down and Do a training seminar of common sense - just because you can put a buzzer on and shampoo a dog doesn't mean you know anything about the culture or business! everyone I know will be sure to not come here. the Owner should be ashamed and made a example. read more

Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted and asked for a photo of how I want Bailey to look. I've never been to any other grooming salon that has done that before. Extremely pleased with everything here! Brittany did a great job with Bailey's haircut, nails, and shaping of his legs! We will be back! read more

I started bringing my 3 year old Cavachon, to Make me pretty this year and she always comes out perfectly. This grooming salon listens to my requests and always produces the exact result I want. They're so kind and gentle. I've been to groomers before, when I leave yemmy she is anxious and paranoid and cries until she's picked up. When I leave and pick up yemmy here she is tolerant and fine. She feels good here and that relaxes all parties involved! This is a great place to bring your dog! read more

Groomer Brittany is very nice does a great job. Stopped going there because of this reason. Gave it another try because I like Brittany but it's actually gotten worse. Had an appt for 1 my 2 little dogs were there 5 hours. They take walk ins during my dogs appt and are left to hang each time a walk in comes in or phone rings and leave your pet each time. It's like a factory and it's ok to turn down a walk in if your that busy. It's not fair to dogs or customer. 2 hours tops maybe but that is an unacceptable amount of time. It's run poorly. It's a shame because staff is soo nice and does a great job it's not their fault. read more

I would like to comment that none of the accusations below are accurate from alissa k. and Karissa rothstein they are false first of all the owner is not a racist at all certainly not a judgemental person who loves animals and she never assaulted a pregnant girl from port Jervis so know your facts before making false comments. the owner would not be in a business Of dog grooming because a worker got fired for good reason I know the pregnant girl who worked there her and her boyfriend both The boyfriend pushed the business owner to the floor not very nice of him END OF STORY read more

I have used this groomer for years and always enjoyed their service until I had to speak to the owner today. (The groomers are always very sweet and helpful) Granted I was 30 min late for my appt because of an error. Even when I explained how sorry I was and offered to come right away I was rudely told NO with a huge attitude. "I'm not gonna have my groomer sit around for an hour because of you!" It was 30 min when he called. How is that an hour? Really? I asked if he was the owner because I was shocked at his attitude. I explained how he had made the original appt in error and that is what I had written down. He didn't care. I gave him multiple chances to improve the way he spoke to me. I even explained that I owned my own local business and would never address a customer the way he was talking to me. Just more attitude. He was rude, sarcastic and just plain nasty. I will never step foot in that establishment again! Beware of the angry man at the dog groomer! read more

The owners are amazing Patriot loving Americans and they take pride with their small business and will take the shirt off their backs to help out their customers and their pups! Highly recommend! read more

Took my golden retriever here today who was a giant mess. He was always super nervous at the groomers to the extent that one place even turned us away. Make me pretty got it DONE. My little guy has never looked so fly. No more stink, clean ears, clean teeth, nails, paws etc. Thanks Allie! Dakota will definitely be back read more

Very disappointed been a loyal customer for at least 3 to 4 years now always treated them w respect , good tipper etc. Not sure if they are overwhelmed there but they messed up my appt. I showed up and they said it was the following week. It was the persons fault who made the appt but no apology almost seemed annoyed and said well I can't do it today im too busy which I didn't even ask. So they rescheduled me, I ended up calling back it just didn't sit well w me messed up my morning etc I said I am calling to cancel my dogs appt, I found someone else and that it really messed me up that morning. Again, no I'm sorry or sorry to hear this if you change your mind give us a call. Disappointing and poor customer service I guess my dogs won't be missed! read more

When I'm in town this is the place where I take my dog Tilly Maye for clip and shampoo. You are the best "Make Me Pretty Dog Grooming"

Beautiful new location! Congrats to all the wonderful staff at Make Me Pretty! Our rescue lab-mix Clara loves her baths and nail clippings by Gisela, and everybody there is so dedicated and loving. Look forward to visiting your new place! read more

Ask for your jade! She takes great care of my Australian shepherds. The prices are comparable but the staff is just the best.

Wouldn't bring my dog anywhere else. They treat your dog like their own. Britanie is wonderful with all dogs(especially big ones)The owner is not a racist as per some reviews. People leaving negative reviews have an agenda. They want Make Me Pretty's customers. Some are bitter ex-employee's. read more

I brought my cat to be groomed and he came out great. Was very happy with the groomer Brittany who was super sweet. Would have been 5 stars except my appointment was at 5, got called at 4:55 when I was already in the parking lot, that they were running behind 30 min which ended up being 45 min. Also the wash wasn't included in the grooming which I was told was. read more

I just moved to this area from Chicago and was looking for a good groomer to take my corgi. Susan did an amazing job on my dog! He is extra fluffy, smells great, his nails are trimmed beautifully, and he was in good spirits when I picked him up! They were quick, and the price is unbeatable. Will definitely be taking him here from now on!! read more

Worst business ever. My appointment was for 1 PM with them knowing I would pick her up at 3:45. I got a call requesting that I bring her at nine because it be better for their scheduling. I explained to them that she wouldn't be able to be picked up until later and they said that was fine, that they could hang with her for the day. My husband decided to leave work one hour early to come home and help me get ready for relatives to arrive. He arrived at the groomer at 2:30 and the dog was still not ready. I called to explain that I was frustrated that I had dropped her off at 9 AM instead of one and that I didn't bother calling to say my husband was coming an hour early because of course she would be done long before then... as they said she would be hanging with them for the rest of the day. Instead of apologizing for not letting me know that they didn't do her at 9 the woman argued and yelled at me that is was my fault. I explained everything to her again and said I expected a discount and she said she would never give me a discount. I was a customer for 6 years. And instead of throwing me ten dollars off for the inconvenience they lost a customer. Not to mention she was bleeding too. Then she refused to finish her even through my husband was willing to wait for her and proceeded to scream at him as well. read more

I called ahead for an estimate to get my girl a bath, ear cleaned and teeth brushed. The person I spoke with stated that the bath includes ears and nails. I asked if they would substitute the nails for a teeth brushing as We just did a grooming a few weeks prior. She looked it up, stated that they could accommodate since the teeth brushing and the nail trimming is the same price. She gave me an estimate of $25-30, I had already given her the information of weight and type of dog that my girl is. Now, i know that was an estimate so i expected a possible increase or decrease in pricing once i got there. I drove ALL the way there to be told that her manager stated that I had to pay extra for her teeth cleaning. Ok no problem, when i asked how much will I pay for the bath, ear cleaning at the $10 extra for the teeth. She stated $50!! That is almost double the price I was given on the phone. Now, as a business owner, I would have just done what was originally told to the customer and just state the mix up and the next time charge the "normal" price. Instead, they prefer to lose a customer who pays about $70 every 2 months to get a full groom. I was so disappointed by this whole thing and especially annoyed at my valuable time lost today! Update: I received a message from the owner who was apologetic and seemed caring enough for our fur babies. He did try to correct the issue and by this, i see that customer service does matter. For this reason, I am updating my review. read more

I really like taking my Pomerania here. The staff is very sweet. The place is very clean and I like the set up. They have little pack and plays set up for each dog and the overall experience was amazing. Stephanie cuts our dais hair and I wouldn't bring him to anyone else. The outside of the building is deceiving but trust me really great place to take your pet. read more

Totally disappointing visit this time. I notice a change in groomers nothing like when they first opened. What a shame I always try to stay local but I wont be back. Notice no good reviews since 2017. read more

Make Me Pretty was a real find! It's hard to find a pet grooming business that's so kind to customers and attentive to the pets, too! The pricing for the grooming deals were very reasonable, and the pets shined after the work was done! The store is pretty new to the area, and I was pleasantly surprised to find such a neat little establishment! But I couldn't have been happier with any other grooming store for my pet, and I would definitely come back again! read more
