What can I say.. Evelyne was beyond wonderful!…read more Rocco was rescued around 4 months old. As adorable as he may appear, he came with so many headaches. Rocco was very reactive to cars, other dogs, cats, anything that moves fast he had to bark and chase. Not to mention obsession with tail chasing and extreme separation anxiety. The 4 week boarding training program was a perfect opportunity for Rocco to learn from Evelyne and for us as owners to better equip ourselves with training tactics. Evelyne was extremely open to our concerns during our initial consultation and created a plan specifically to his needs. Of course we were nervous to leave him for the first week - HOWEVER, Evelyne communicated with us regularly putting us at ease. Now that Rocco is back with us, we have been implementing the training Evelyne has taught us. It finally feels like we can enjoy our buddy (especially while he's young). Thank you Evelyne ‍

I started my dog Bubba in the 5 Step Program because he could not walk on a leash to save my life. He was constantly pulling and would get so excited and distracted. Candice has taught not only Bubba, but me, so much. She has taught me patience, how to better understand a dog's mind, and how to properly communicate with him during training. I was also super skeptical about using an e collar, but Candice took the time to make sure I was comfortable and confident with how to properly use it with Bubba. Bubba absolutely loves going to training, and he also loved his time boarding with K9. It's so nice knowing he is somewhere he enjoys being while also continuing to learn and improve. We are so grateful for everything Candice has done for Bubba and us! Thank you, K9 Intuition for helping turn our crazy little crackhead into such a well behaved boy!

We take our rescue puppy, Zero, to the puppy socialization classes on Tuesdays and Saturdays. He started out hiding under our chairs and after 3 weeks is starting to play with the other puppies! We're so happy with his socialization progress, especially because he has no other outlet yet while he's only partially vaccinated (puppies require 2 of 3 vaccine rounds). We're also so glad to have the trainers' help when assessing his play, Zero is our first puppy so we don't yet understand what his behavior means; Seth and Beth are incredibly helpful in interpreting what our pup is feeling! The trainers, led by Seth and Beth, give excellent lessons in obedience; they've really helped me see how "tricks" like sitting or touching are the foundation for good behavior later on like being home alone or recall. They also take time at the end of each class to make individualized recommendations, which has helped a ton with our puppy's biting. With lots of at-home practice, our puppy has learned a lot of really great behaviors; now that he's playing with other pups, he's starting to get distracted in class, but we're so thankful to have the trainers' help in redirecting him! The puppy classes are a mix of training and play with alternating 10-15 min sessions of each, which allows socialization and prevents the pups from getting bored of training. The trainers here really balance training and socialization well (which we never could have done on our own), they know just when to let our puppy play and when to give him boundaries. If you're thinking of taking your puppy here, all I can say is "DO IT!"

This really helped with Lola's anxiety and readjustment to the new apartment. I sent Lola back for a tune-up in Fall 2020 when I started school and moved again. In March, Lola boarded at RBR while I was away for a weekend trip. Bethany worked with me on pick-up and drop-off as I live far away and have a crazy work/school schedule. Lola's e-collar and remote stopped working (at separate times) and Bethany was able to help me get them replaced. Much appreciated! Bethany and her team have been so so so amazing. I am forever grateful for their wisdom and advice. Bethany has been flexible and helpful with me through the many environmental changes I've had to go through in the past couple of years (which subsequently affected Lola). She has also been available to answer questions and concerns I have had after training. RBR's online videos are super helpful when I need reminders and extra training tips. Our two dogs, Riley and Lucy, were very anxious and very yappy corgis, so we knew we needed help. They went through their extensive training program while we were away on vacation and when we came back, they were almost unrecognizable. They learned so much and we learned even more in terms of how to better care for them, how to effectively walk them and also how to utilize the e-collars. Needless to say, they are now the best walkers and they never bark when we play fetch. Since then, we have relied on Bethany and Chris to watch our doggies occasionally and we always feel confident that they are being cared for in such a loving but controlled environment. We could not recommend Bethany and Chris enough. In fact, our dogs are doing another board and train later this summer just for some obedience maintenance and I know they can't wait to be with them again! I really wanted to get him trained so that he stopped pulling on the leash because I'm pregnant and I've had enough of him almost pulling me over when he gets excited or decides he wants to veer in a direction other than where I'm heading. I called multiple dog trainers who also said Leroy would need a training program for 12 weeks or an intensive doggy boot camp for 10 day or more. Prices ranged between $1,200 - 3,000. I called Duane who said he can help me in one private session. I was surprised, excited, and a little skeptical. He got me in right away which was also fantastic. We show up for our training and Duane met us outside and gave us a lesson in doggy obedience. He then proceeded to give Leroy the beat down of his life. A necessary one, he needed to learn how to listen. Huskies are notorious babies and extravagant drama queens. Poor Leroy, he howled and cried like the memes you see online.
