I was told just to bring my dog in and they would take care of her. My dog is 15lbs. A small terrier. Super simple. 2 hours max to wash and cut her since she's very chill and small with short hair. Figured since they had no appointment system they had it down to a science to get pets in and out. I was mistaken. I dropped my dog off at 9:30 am. When I walked in, it was pure chaos. Dogs in cages packed in the front crying and barking. It's typical for a groomer to have dogs in kennels while they wait to be groomed or picked up but not in the front? Super strange. When I was greeted it was very transactional. Fine. I didn't ask questions and I felt like it wouldn't be long with her. We never waited more than 3 hours for our dog start to finish. 4 hours went by and no call. Super odd so my wife called in. Told her she wasn't ready yet. So we call again at 2:40 and the lady was rude to my wife and told her "she will be ready when she's ready and we will call you when she is". That right there should have been when we decided to just go and pick her up. Mind you I can guarantee she sat in the same damn cage all day with no water and no chance to go outside to pee or poop. I didn't pay for her to be kenneled up all day. Paid to be groomed. We figured at this point screw it, it really can't be that much longer. They know we have been calling and what could another 30-45 minutes do? We figured we would wait longer because it probably been a month overdue that our dog needed a grooming. Once again didn't trust our guts and feel bad for it. It was another 2 hours before she was ready. Over 7 hours to groom a small dog with short hair. What in the F? I truly hope this business fails. I work in the service industry and there's things that come with a service you pay for. An expectation for the service you are paying for and this place misses the mark by a million miles. So if you don't mind leaving your dog in a cage all day with people who don't care about your pet have at it, but if you do and do care for your pet unlike this business please look elsewhere. Make the drive elsewhere and spend the extra few bucks. You will thank your self and your pet will be happy you did.

We were told they don't do appointments, it is first come first serve. So we dropped her off at 9:30am. Yes there were other dogs there already, so we understand we weren't the first ones. I called twice in the afternoon as it had been a long time. (We have lived in many places so we have been to many groomers, none of which ever took longer than 3 hours at most). Both times I called, they sounded annoyed that I was asking if she was done, with a snooty tone. We waited until 4:45pm until she was ready. Over SEVEN HOURS. Most of that time I guarantee they are locked in a cage with no water or access to go potty. Our dog also has anxiety so that doesn't help that they had her locked up all day long. If a company refuses appointments, they need to make each customer aware of the approximate time that they pet will be done, so the customer can decide if they are willing to leave their pet there all day long. If they cannot do that, they need to accept appointments so they can stay on schedule and not have dogs locked up all day long in cages with customers wondering what's going on and when their pet will be done. It's completely unacceptable to have them locked up most of the business day, and knowingly take them in with no groom time in sight. And to have an attitude when customers call to inquire about their pet. Never again will we return there for a grooming. This has been the worst experience we have had with groomers (and we have been to many). On top of all this, our dog is now extremely thirsty and all worked up with anxiety because of their bad business practices. This place is a MESS.

I warn every groomer because I know if she snaps at me she will bite them. Sometimes I've gotten her back with her feet not completed, one or two paws done but not the others or not done at all. When I picked her up i was worried they would aske me not to ever bring her back. I was so impressed with her grooming. She was beautiful. Her ears were trimmed and shaped better than ever before and her cut was even and perfect. AND HER PAWS were all done. She looked so good. And they didn't ask me to never return I HIGHLY recommend Sonda's. I am beyond satisfied UPDATE: I took my other two pups this time too. A yorkie and Chorkie. They did amazing on both. This was the Chorkie's first grooming and the tripod Yorkie's third. I am very happy with the way they look and how happy my babies are when I pick them up

I'm happy to report that they are!!!! I have a very busy travel schedule and it is really hard for me to find the time to drop my dog off for an entire day at the groomers. Steven was in & out in an hour & my Westie looks great! I would recommend them to anyone! Both the service & price are excellent (paid about what I would have paid at my regular groomers).

I called around and no one could do it this week until I called Bark Avenue. Jay was really nice and said he would work around my schedule. He was to arrive at 10a to start the salon services. He was running late but sent me a text to let me know and arrived at 10:30a. He and his mother (his partner was ill) took care of the 3 dogs and they were not nervous or skeptical. That says a lot because these 3 have been through so much and their confidence level is way below the radar. He cleaned everything up, vacuumed and left the place clean. I was able to use the Yelp deal so it only cost me $120 for the 3 dogs, and that included de-shedding for 2 of them (where others wanted to charge up to an additional $25). I would definitely have Jay back to take care of my dog and any other fosters I may have. Thanks, Jay and Mom!

She really goes above and beyond to make sure you have the puppy you want in a seamless manner and keeps in close contact throughout the process. Our first plan was to have them fly my new baby to me, but then the east coast got that huge snowstorm. I was in Texas for business and asked if they could drive her to me and they actually drove her 3.5 hours to me and I was able to fly home with her. They checked on us to make sure everything was working out well, which it was and is. We love our new baby Julianna and so does her brother Javier!!
