Called in to obtain a quote for tint and it was very easy to do. The woman I spoke with was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I got lucky and was able to get an appointment fairly quickly. The appointment took about 3 hours from start to finish. The Tint looked amazing and super sleek. Later that day, we noticed a bubble on the driver window and they informed us it should resolve on its own. Fast forward a month, the bubble hadn't resolved and was still visible. I gave them a call and was able to get an appointment right away. The woman I spoke with said it was unacceptable and they would get it fixed immediately. Upon arrival to the appointment, the bubble was resolved within minutes! From service to quality of product, K2 deserves 5 stars! They are amazing to work with and produce amazing results! read more

K2 was amazing, from start to finish! We dealt with a horrible discovery of rodent infestation in our car, and Imen was so knowledgeable about the whole process for fixing the problem! (Which we learned is very extensive, if wanting it to all be done safely and properly). She handled the majority of the detailed contact with our car insurance, and did a great job making sure all of the necessary reimbursement, repair, and detailing services were covered appropriately. I didn't even know I could go through insurance. They took my truck apart and found the dead rodent. Kyle did an amazing job on my husband's 2017 Mustang.  We dropped off the car for a full detail as well as a paint correction, ceramic coating, ceramic coating of the rims, and rust removal / repainting of the rotors.  The Mustang looks and smells fantastic.  It was really dirty from being parked outside and grass, dirt, and sweat on the inside from golfing.  The paint correction did wonders for the numerous spider web scratches and chips.  I'm planning for the same on my truck once the paint has more time to cure from some body work. read more

Overall the work was fine but overpriced for the work and hassle. Had tint installed on 3 windows. Originally only wanted 2 windows tinted but was upsold on the windshield for "UV" protection. When I dropped truck off the installer told me UV protection is now built into new car windows so there's no need for it but I already paid for the tint service prior to install through a holiday special. Be careful with the upsell. Tint took two try's due to poor install the first go round. 3 of 3 windows had bubbles and gouges had to schedule another day to leave vehicle for a do over. When getting tint re done had truck exterior only washed and detailed. The truck was brand new so detail was mainly for a coat of wax protectant and the wheels to be cleaned. When I picked up price was $200 over the quoted price (my guess is this was to pay the tint guy to redo the original job that was being redone which was supposed to be warrantied) Would have gone somewhere else if I would have known that or at least a curtesy call to increase quote price would have been nice. Wax job almost double what I've paid at other detail shops after the final markup. Overall jobs fair but included a bit of running around and added costs to get it all done. read more

I'm a Lyft driver and this Halloween one of my passengers did her own form of Trick or Treating by barfing all over the interior and exterior of my car at 1am. In a hurry to clean up the mess, the very next morning (which was a Saturday, by the way) I call Kyle at 7am and he saved the day by scheduling a full detail that very same afternoon. I live in a tight apartment complex, and he met me at the local K-Mart parking lot across the street so there would be enough room for him to work---and for his son to practice his rad scooter skills. The job only took about an hour and half (including all of that human excrement) and was thorough and of quality. He even wrote a detailed report on the receipt so I can get a full refund from Lyft. Not a yelp reviewer at all because most places/services don't really stand out to me enough to post about them. Matt from k2 blew my mind with how well he cleaned my vehicle! My truck was full of dirt and rain spots on the outside and on the inside my dog had all his white hair covering the seats and every crack in between, but when Matt finished with it; it looked like it came off the lot! I am very picky about the people that touch my cars and I was nervous, but I'm glad that i gave these guys a chance! I'm not even from this area and they have a customer for life! Kyle came and detailed my car one day after it had been sitting at the body shop for over a couple of months. Apparently they have a stray shop cat they let cruise around and spray the inside my car. It smelled like cat piss and dirt. Very gross. The body shop nicely offered to pay and have it detailed. Then came Kyle to the rescue. He traveled all the way to La Jolla where I work and spent 2 and a half hours completely cleaning every nook and cranny. I swear it was cleaner than after I first bought the dang car. He is super nice, way chill and an excellent worker. He had an assistant with him that was great too. Just cant remember his name. If you need your car cleaned give him a call. So here's the deal...I have a black Lexus IS250 that I rarely drive parked in my driveway uncovered for almost 6 months. Sadly, it was directly under eucalyptus trees the entire time...which are acidic and attract birds. It hadn't been cleaned for approx. 4 months and hadn't been waxed since 2013. So now that we've established I am a horrible car owner, here's my review. K2 arrived on-time ready to take my sad case. They washed, waxed, buffed, and restored the headlights. It's such an amazing transformation, I could hardly believe it was the same car. Sadly, the eucalyptus did some permanent damage but they did everything humanly possible to make it shine again and it worked. I'd highly recommend these guys and will be using them again in the future. BTW, I now have a car cover. read more
