If you need any work on your car I truly recommend going to K2 Auto Body. I have already recommended this shop to my co-workers and also my previous landlord. I had to fix my car after my first car accident. I had no idea on how to file a claim through insurance or what a police report was. Eric, honestly saved me so much stress by explaining the process of how to file a claim and followed up from beginning to end. There is no other shop that I trust or will go to in the event I need my car fixed (let's hope it's not due to a car accident). He sent me texts and photos throughout the process of my car being fixed to reassure that my car was in good hands. Also he helped me get to the car rental place after I dropped off my car at the body shop. Such great service!! And I couldn't have been happier with the final results when my car was done. It looked brand new, car washed inside and out, paint job was perfect (good job paint guy! :D), and even my dad was impressed. I wouldn't hesitate 1 second to bring my car here and also recommend this shop to others close to me. Thank you Eric. read more

Where do i start? This auto body shop is 10/10 HANDS DOWN! I had a rear diffuser added onto my infiniti q60 and Eric was very helpful and knowledgeable about the add on. He helped me get a heat gun mark that was on my right brake light and he's simply a genuine nice dude. I would recommend to anyone who cares about their cars, i went to other body shops and came back to unnecessary scratch marks/ burns (from the heat gun). But this shop is very careful and the crew seem to want to help as it should be. Eric also gave me tips and recommendations on adding stuff to the vehicle so he's def the guy to take advice from. SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME AND COME TO K2 AUTO BODY SHOP!!!!!! read more

My BMW 535i got an airbag light on recently. BMW dealer quoted me $1200 for fixing the issue. After quoting with several mechanics on yelp, Eric gave me the most reasonable price and he is very experienced with the issue. The work was done so fast and everything back to functional. When I picked up my car, Eric walked through every step of the work he has done on my car, which is very helpful to understand the root cause of the issue and preventing the same issue happen again in the future. Thanks again for the excellent work. read more

Very honest. Told me how to fix in own rather than making money off me. Even referred me to great detail shop. Use these guys for sure. Highly recommend. read more

I rarely post reviews but I felt K2 deserves to be recognized for their meticulous work and honesty. I met the owner, Eric about 2 years ago when I needed repainting/repair of a dent after I had a minor accident. After doing my research and gathered quotes from other shops, I picked K2 not only of the reasonable price but more importantly, I was confident that I was in good hands. There was no delay when he said it can be done in X amount of days and during this process, he was accessible and quick to respond to my texts. On the day I picked up the car, it was good as new. He even did some touched ups of other paint scratches and the car was washed. And just 2 days ago, I came back for a scratch in my rear bumper. He once again delivered. K2 truly is one of a kind where patient satisfaction always comes first. read more

Brought my car into Eric after an awful hit and run and he fixed my car up in a matter of 2 weeks but really we waited a week for parts so the work actually took 1 week! I was super impressed with the work. He kept me updated throughout the entire time and even after to check in on how my car was after! Would 100% recommend!! read more

Body shops or mechanics stereotypically have been known to over charge customers. Here at K2 Auto Body that wasn't the case. They were honest with me and gave me different options to resolve my damages. I'm trying happy someone recommended them to me. I honestly won't go anywhere else. They're honesty was what sold me. Thank you so much. I highly recommend this Auto Shop. read more

Hands down the best auto body in the area. Came here for an estimate. Eric was very transparent about the entire process and was extremely patient with me, even when I had a ton of questions. After dropping my car off for repair, he walked me through the whole process of what needed to be fixed with the whole timeline. He called and texted throughout the whole process and kept me well informed. My car was just like new when I went to go pick it up and repairs were perfect. He also was able to give it a car wash inside and out. Would definitely recommend. read more

like the other has stated: At first, the shop owner eric and the shop seemed OK. we saw reviews and fell for them. they were kind and seemed transparent at first but after he feels the job is done, he doesn't want anything to do with you. Caught him in lies, also told us he'd send photos and reply but he never did. after the job was complete, he did not honor the work that he did by denying mistakes and damages he made during the repair. he made "promises" to make you feel comfortable but when it comes to honoring those promises, he did not. again, don't let the smile and promises fool you, after the money is paid, job is done they treat you like a stranger and ignore you like your typical sketchy car shop--the stereotype surrounding shady car repair shops is true. don't know what all the positive reviews are from. must be his buddies. lastly, the owner is racist & rude, so is the staff. he basically scams insurance w/ the appraiser of their choice. will not be returning after feeling like our intelligence was insulted. read more

A friend recommended me to go visit K2 and after speaking to Eric who was really nice enough to guide me what will be done to a car, I decided have them fix my car. Their lead time was very precise and the work was fantastic. I am very happy with their work and will recommend to all my friends! read more

After my car was rear-ended, I went to K2 after seeing all the great reviews. My initial impression was that this is the best body shop I've ever done business with. Eric was very professional, and he told how he could save me money by filing a claim through the other driver's insurance. After our meeting, I didn't hear back for several days, and I called Eric for an update. He said that he was waiting for a response from the insurer, and he'd call them again to expedite. That was the last time I heard from him. I made several followup calls and sent texts and emails, but never received a reply. read more

Hands down the best auto repair experience I've ever had, whether independent or dealer, body or mechanical. Eric is professional, transparent, communicative, and reliable. He told me exactly how much the body work would cost and when it would be complete. His estimate was lower than 2 others in the area and I didn't want to run this through my insurance - I paid out of pocket, so the cost was extra important. You won't find better value or experience. read more

Great work on my cars. Paint and repairs were excellent.

Eric and K2 did a great job in repairing my vandalized BMW, which suffered deep dents and scratches to the hoods and side panels. The finished work made the car look brand new again. Also the total cost was exactly what Eric estimated up front, which is also great. If you unfortunately have to have your car's body repaired, then trust Eric to make it looking brand new again. As for the person, I found Eric to be truthful and upfront with all the cost estimates. He delivered on his promises. I highly recommend him to everyone who brings up the topic of car repairs. Note: K2 only does auto body repairs and does it very well. read more

Getting your car damaged is never fun. I am newer to the Northern NJ area and took to yelp to find a shop to fix my car. K2 had great reviews and I decided to give it a shot. Eric lived up to every great review. I asked for a short turn around and he made it happen, and was always transparent. He even called me to let me know I need to contact my insurance company based on an error he saw on the initial quote, when it did not effect him or his work. I will be recommending K2 to anyone in the NYC metro area who needs work done. Thanks Eric! read more

I had a rather large dent in the corner of my bumper cover of my late model car and called Eric at K2 Auto Body to make an appointment for an estimate. He was both courteous and professional. I was told to come in at my convenience, so went their yesterday afternoon. After examining the damage he gave me a very reasonable estimate, I brought in the car the next day (today), as it was a relatively simple repair. He and his staff did an excellent repair job and the car was ready before the time he originally told me to come pick the car up! No nonsense, the repair cost was exactly what I was originally quoted! I'd highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs body work done! Location is convenient to NJ Transit 158 and 188 buses. read more

Eric & Kyle were super professional with their proposal and work. I brought my S2000 here for some fender repair after some paint chip/clear coat failure and not only did Eric and his team have my car finished in 24 hours... the fender was FLAWLESS when I got it back. Honestly, i would highly recommend anyone needing body work done to give their trust and business to K2. Will def be going back for future mods/track conversion. Keep up the amazing work guys. read more

Eric replaced my Driver's side mirror recently and I'm happy with his work. From the start, he was efficient, quick to respond and provided me with a succinct but detailed price breakdown and quote through email. In addition, he gave me a realistic timeline as to when to expect the part and time to repair it. I did shop around for other quotes, and found Eric to be the most reliable, quick to respond and cost effective. Providing communication options through email was also beneficial due to Covid. I'm glad I went with his company and am happy to support his business. read more

After having my GMC Yukon XL repaired at K2 I can readily understand why they get so many 5-star ratings. Eric took care of the entire process. The damage was caused when I was rear-ended by another driver during the early January snow storm. Rather than going through insurance the other driver accepted responsibility and agreed to pay for the cost of repairs. Eric coordinated the entire process. On the appointed day I dropped by car off and a few hours later got a call that it was ready. It was done so quickly because Eric had any parts requiring painting done in advance so all that had to be done was remove the damaged parts and install the new ones. There was no body damage done. Bottom line, I highly recommend K2 and will not hesitate to use them again should the need arise. read more

K2 Auto Body does impeccable automotive collision work. After my vehicle was hit, Eric and K2 Auto Body came highly recommended by a neighbor that loved the work they did. I was worried whether any repair shop could match my bright red car color but K2 made it match flawlessly. Additionally, Eric was highly communicative with me throughout the process, something I look for when I do business with people. I highly recommend K2 Auto Body for anyone in the region looking for outstanding collision repair work coupled with outstanding customer service. read more

This body shop Is amazing. The owner, Eric, is very fair with pricing and is very understanding. As a woman, it's scary just walking into a body shop and not knowing if you're going to be charged more just because you're a woman. Eric is extremely fair and honest. He's repaired damage I've had and even touches up any other little scratches he comes across on his own. I highly recommend this place to everyone. I've had my truck fixed there a couple of times now and it's always beautifully done and looks brand new. If you're looking for an honest body shop, who does awesome and affordable work K2 is the place. read more

We had such good experience with Eric and his team when we took our Lexus to K2 Auto Body that the next week we were back to have some scratches / chips taken out of the bumper of our Toyota. They also fixed a loose piece inside the door that was making noise and even washed the car inside and out which was amazing. Afterward, Eric goes over every detail of the work done with you and makes sure you are totally satisfied with the job. Good price and quick turn-around too. Highly recommend. read more

This is the best car service in the town. Nice and economy! I used twice and satisfied their job.

So I noticed there was some damage to the front bumper of my car one day out of nowhere. A friend had recommended K2 after her great experience there. So I called and spoke to Eric. He's an extremely nice dude and was able to squeeze me in during a heavy schedule. Needless to say, he looked at my car and was able to repair within a tight 48 hours. My car has never looked better! Eric was also kind enough to point out some previous spotty work done by the dealer that I was not privy to and was able to correct. Do not hesitate to use K2 for any auto body work. Hopefully, I won't have to go back but if I need to will be happily going to see Eric at K2. read more

I hit a brick pole and the left side of my Lexus had 2 front panels damaged as well as the side mirror. Being a new resident in Edgewater, NJ I didn't know many people who can recommend a trusthworthy car mechanic. I research and came down to 3 autobody collision repair shops: 2 in Edgewater, NJ and one I knew from when I lived on Staten Island, NY. I called each shop separately to get an estimate and ended up with this shop b/c of Eric's prompt response, professionalism, fair pricing and walking me through every step. Eric even went as far as taking pics of the entire repair to show me what his shop was doing. I immediately trusted Eric will take care of my Lexus. He also kept me posted if any there were any delays with the schedule and parts he ordered. He did have my car back to me within 5 days, just in time for my interview. Eric went as far as having my car washed and dropping my car off to my home after the repair. Even after repair was done & when I had questions, Eric always answered friendly & was more than happy to take a look at my car. Now that's what I call superior customer service. I highly recommend Eric's shop & know I have a car shop I can rely on! read more

I hit debris on the highway and it did a lot of damage - broken bumper, radiator, horn, hood, etc. K2 did everything to fix my car back to new and was very accommodating. Eric's very understanding and he's all about quality. I had a lot of issues with my insurance company, but he was able to make sure everything worked out. He's the kind of guy who fits everyone's needs. If you're very needy like me, you found the right place. He's able to adjust his style and communicate whatever it is you need to know. He walked me through the entire process before, during, and after, and he takes extra precautions so you won't have any doubts. Whether you're going to him for damage through insurance or not through insurance, I would highly recommend K2. I put him through a lot of hassle, but he was more than accommodating and understanding, and at the end of the day, he delivers as promised! read more

Brought my car here for an estimate after getting estimates from a couple other shops. After meeting with Eric and receiving a very reasonable quote, I decided to get my car fixed here. They did an amazing job fixing up my dented bumper and also touched up other scratches. My GLE Mercedes was scuffed on the rear passenger side and I reached out to a few shops for a quote and assistance. The issue was whether there was below paint damage or if it could be buffed over with special equipment. Eric personally came to my apartment to check out and inspect the car. He didn't try to up sell or lie about the extent of the damage. We dropped the car off at his shop and it was ready the same day with flawless results. I reviewed this shop earlier and gave them top marks for their service last time, and I'm happy to say the level hasn't dropped. Rear-ended a car a few weeks back (black ice...no human being could have avoided it) and need a lot of work on the front of my car. The shop took care of everything for me...dealing with insurance, picking up my car, dropping it off, etc. They even finished the work 2 days earlier than the insurance company told me they would be done.
