My system includes an ARC Audio X2 800.8 DSP/amplifier, JL Audio speakers, Infinity speakers, Beyma A-pillar tweeters, a Rockford Fosgate subwoofer, and sound deadening. The installation is exceptionally clean, everything works perfectly, and it looks completely factory. The biggest difference came from Patrick's DSP tuning. He transformed the system into something I honestly didn't think was possible in a RAV4. I even told them I already had the materials. They said "come in at 9." Simple enough. I took time off work and drove from midtown Manhattan all the way to their shop near Fordham University. I arrived at 9am -- their posted opening time -- only to watch the staff stroll in around 9:20. Then I had to wait while they dealt with a customer whose Bluetooth they'd installed incorrectly. When I finally spoke to the manager, I showed him the parts, explained the job, got a quote, and headed back to my office -- another $60 cab ride -- trusting they'd do what they said they could do. Ninety minutes later, they called to say they couldn't remove my tires because they were "on too tight." They didn't have the proper power tool to remove them. A mobile audio shop that can't remove wheels for a job they agreed to do. I asked if they could find a tool somewhere. They couldn't. I asked if they could at least do the front doors -- the part that didn't require touching the wheels. They said no, because they "already had other cars" and mine was now sitting in the street. So I took another $60 Uber back to pick up my untouched car. $120 in transportation, half a day of work lost, and absolutely nothing to show for it. They didn't even bother to do the portion of the job they could have done. I'm sure they have a couple of things they do well, but the devil‑may‑care attitude, the lack of basic tools, and the complete disregard for my time means I won't be returning. If you value professionalism, reliability, or even the slightest respect for your schedule, look elsewhere.

So I came back the following week and they knocked it out for me. It was a really great job, quick and looked just as good as what would come from the dealer. Since then I brought my moms Jeep in to get an in dash navigation system with screen installed and I brought my BMW 550 in to get a K40 radar detector & upgrade my speakers and install a sub. Every time I've been in Auto Design I can honestly say I had great service and most importantly had work done that was seamless, clean and all the wires were hidden. The guys there really know their stuff and they are personable . What my issue was that I purchased some aftermarket tail lights and when he installed it the brake light didn't work. So he suggested I reach out to the company and explain to them what we did and show them that it's not working and it was there product. They replied back and assumed it was another issue and it may have been installed wrong or my OEM was damaged. John dug a little deeper and we were able to fix it and prove that the manufacturer was wrong. There wires on the lights was faulty. I even found the manufacturer of the camera system that I wanted to purchase had a local office and offered installation of their dash cams. But they couldn't install in my 2024 Honda Accord because my car was too new and they didn't have some of the needed wiring for new models. They could do it next year. I found Model Electronics after some searching. It is 25 minutes from where I live but local options in Hackensack/Paramus area did not work for me.
